    God of Pastors Adeboye, Kumuyi will bring down enemies in Buhari’s government – Fayose

     

    In a swift reaction to the recent move by the Federal Government to restructure the administration of churches in Nigeria, Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has on Saturday said that the government must thread softly on this path to avoid tragedy of monumental proportion befalling them.

    Recall that the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG Pastor Enoch Adeboye announced his retirement on Saturday and named a successor as a result of the law. The widely respected clergy man had also noted that the law was not limited to him as it was bound to also retire top General Overseers like Pastor W.F. Kumuyi (Deeper Life Bible Church), Bishop David Oyedepo (Winners Chapel), Bishop Mike Okonkwo (The Redeemed Evangelical Ministry).

    Governor Fayose spoke during the 53rd birthday Thanksgiving service of his wife, Mrs. Feyisetan Olayemi Fayose, held at the governor office chapel, in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

    Fayose said: “There is one thing every government must not do, the moment you face the church of God, you will fail. The God of Adeboye, Kumuyi will bring down all the enemies in this government.

    ”Somebody must tell them, there are certain things you don’t do. They are going from frying pan to fire. This government wants to subdue the church, God will subdue them. They are ridiculing leaders of the church, God will rubbish them. The same church they had deceived to get power, they are saying that we now have the ring, who will remove it from our hand, the Lord will cut off the hand that wears the ring.

    “APC is behaving this way, but God is the creator of the ring and the hand, God will amputate the hand.”

    “Ayo Fayose is anointed of God. I have warned and I’m still warning, take your hands away from the administration of churches, you are killing Christians, The Lord will rise against you. By rising against the church, this government has failed. As anyone that rises against God will fail. By using Laws against the church, they have started to crumble”.

    ” Christians are being slaughtered in Southern Kaduna and noble men cannot talk because of fear of incarceration. Remember you are here today, tomorrow you would not be here again. We must condemn what is happening here today, ” he said.

    Speaking earlier, Mrs. Fayose said she stopped praying to God to remove her husband’s heart from politics when God revealed to her in 2006 that He needed him (Fayose) in Nigeria. She said to her husband: “The Lord will reward, He will stand by you. You are going higher and I’ll be beside you. I’ll still remain the same person. God has said it and it will never fail.

    ” When I was praying to God to remove politics in my husband’s heart. God told me in 2006. He said leave that man, I need him in Nigeria. I ask when and how and when but he said don’t ask me. But I am taking him higher. God indeed is really watching over me. I want to be praising God and to be watching my enemies falling, and all haters of Fayose and his government falling.

    “Note this, I prophesied this year that many things, governments, kingdoms, conspiracies will tear so many things this year, because of Ekiti State and Fayose, be on God’s side so that you’ll not be torn,” Feyisetan said.

    General Overseer (Worldwide) of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has disclosed how God used a witch to save his life when he was young.

    Adeboye, in a Thanksgiving and Prophetic Declaration Service at the church national headquarters, Throne of Grace Parish in Ebute-Meta, Lagos, narrated that God used the witch to stop him from eating kola nut which would have led to his death.

    In a sermon entitled: “God Loves Me” the clergyman attributed his continued survival to God’s faithfulness and love.

    According to the former lecturer, “I was telling my children that whenever we wanted to study at night while we were young, we used kola nut as our own coffee as we did not have money to buy coffee. We ate the kola nut to stay awake.

    “One day, the number one self confessed witch in our compound, called me and said: “Dejare, why won’t you stop eating kola nut?

    ” The witch warned me to desist from what can lead to my death. I think God spoke through the witch and I can say God loves me.

    “You are alive today not because you are clever, wise or know how to do it but simply because God loves you. There are lots of people who are in the prison who are free. I was at the Kirikiri Prison where I heard testimonies that brought tears to my eyes.

    “Some of them said they were in prison but they are free men because they have Jesus; they were incarcerated but they are free. And there are people who are outside the prison who are prisoners.

    “It is because God loves you that you are able to conquer all that the devil threw at you last year. Left for the enemy you, will not be here today but because God loves you, you are more than conqueror.”

    Only God can stop me from becoming president in 2019 – Sule Lamido

    Immediate past governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido, has said that only God can stop him from becoming Nigeria’s president in 2019, if he decides to contest.

    According to a report by The Sun, Lamido made this claim on Sunday night, after policemen were reportedly deployed to Bamaina village of Birnin Kudu, to stop a rally organized by youths urging him to run in the next general elections.

    “The desperation by those in authorities of power today must know that the same God that have made Balewa, Ironsi, Gowon, Murtala, Shagari, Buhari, Babangida and Jonathan Presidents could do the same for me if Allah so wishes,” Lamido told pressmen.

    “All this coercion and intimidation was because of my aspiration and I must tell them that no matter what, if Allah has destined that I will be President, they cannot stop me or deter me because that will amount to fighting against the wish of God.

    “Leaders should beware of the consequences that followed tyranny, impunity and abuse of human dignity.

    Speaking further, he added: “I am their father and they are coming to greet me and you are saying they have to ask for permit, permit for what?

    “All over this country I’ve never heard of a mutual gathering that requires one to ask for permit, even on Saturday, we were in Sokoto for a wedding where thousands of people attended or even naming ceremonies where hundreds attend, have you asked them to show their permit?, but because it’s Sule Lamido, whoever that is coming to see me must acquire a permit to do so”.

    Speaking to the youths, he said: “If your prayers for me to be the President of this country is the wish of Allah, let it be, for Allah is the One that made others like Jonathan, Tafawa Balewa, Obasanjo.”

    Stop worshipping God inside buildings under construction – CAN warns churches

    The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has advised churches across the country to stop worshipping God inside buildings under construction in order to avert avoidable tragedies like that which occurred at the Reigners Bible Church Int’l Inc, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, last Saturday.

    A statement by the General Secretary of CAN, Dr. Musa Asake, lamented the disaster and advised every Christian to identify with the victims through prayers, gifts and condolence visits.

    He said, “We advise churches to discourage the idea of holding worship service inside buildings under construction to avoid a repeat of the avoidable tragedy. We call on the NSE and other relevant bodies to check the construction of buildings with substandard materials.

    “Until severe sanctions are meted out to those who are responsible, they may not be able to stop their satanic antics. We identify with the victims of the tragedy, we pray for their quick recovery as we are asking God to console and comfort all the bereaved. It is very unfortunate that the devil struck when the whole world is getting ready for the celebration of the birth of the Saviour, Jesus Christ, who came to destroy the work of the devil.

    “We thank God that His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel, narrowly escaped the tragedy and we welcome his prompt intervention when he said the state government will hold an inquiry to investigate if anyone compromised building standards.”

    Asake recalled the spate of collapsed buildings in the country and called on the relevant agencies to stem the tide.

    “It is no more news that buildings often collapse in the country as a result of contractors using substandard materials coupled with people building without government approvals and thorough supervision by the relevant agencies,” Asake said.

    According to him, Christians all over the world should join “us in praying for the victims that survived the incident and the families of the bereaved.”
