    Tears as remains of lady ‘beheaded by gospel singer’ laid to rest

    A Nigerian lady identified as Salome Adaidu who was beheaded  by a gospel singer identified as Timileyin Ajayi, has been laid to rest amidst tears.

    TheNewsGuru earlier reported that the suspect Timileyin Ajayi, who prides himself as multi-talented gospel singer, was apprehended on Sunday, Jan. 12, near a church in Orozo, a border area between Nasarawa State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

    According to the viral video, Timileyin who is also a TikTok content creator and motivational speaker was seen carrying a black nylon, with flies following him and the bag.

    The video also showed the community members interrogating the suspect, who admitted to the crime during the confrontation, saying he dated Adaidu for one year before her death. 

    In the video that surfaced on social media captured the moment a group of men is seen laying Adaidu’s remains to rest on Monday night. Some persons were also heard weeping in the background of the footage.

    There is an ongoing investigation into Adaidu’s murder with authorities working to piece together the events surrounding her death.

    The Nigerian police have confirmed the arrest of gospel singer, Oluwatimileyin Ajayi, who was caught with severed the head of his girlfriend.

    TheNewsGuru earlier reported that the suspect Timileyin Ajayi, who prides himself as multi-talented gospel singer, was apprehended on Sunday, Jan. 12, near a church in Orozo, a border area between Nasarawa State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

    The video also showed the community members interrogating the suspect, who admitted to the crime during the confrontation.

    Confirming the incident, the Secretary of the Orozo Community, Abwami Nuhuson Daniel, in a post shared on Facebook recounted his disbelief upon witnessing the events.

    Daniel, while speaking on the incident, said, “I got the shock of my life as we apprehended a ‘Yahoo’ ritualist with a human head (his girlfriend) inside a nylon bag in Agwan Sarki, Orozo, FCT.”

    Speaking about the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Josephine Adeh, said the suspect has been arrested.

    She further added that the incident did not happen in Abuja and urged the public to disseminate an accurate report.

    She said, “To clarify, the incident above did not occur in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) but in Nasarawa State. We kindly urge everyone to ensure accuracy in such reports for better public understanding.”

    He also revealed the gender of the baby.

    He wrote, “This is the doing of the Lord. We are in awe of His mercy🙏🏽 Join us to thank God for blessing our family with a baby boy. “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think,… unto him be glory. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21 KJV.”

    Popular Nigerian singer, Yinka Ayefele, and his wife, Temitope, have welcomed a baby girl.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that the singer on Thursday announced the goodnews in a post via his Instagram page.

    The excited father shared a beautiful photo of the newborn baby revealing that they christened her: Ifeoluwa, Adesewa, Shalom, Jessica, Ayomide, and more.

    The singer’s announcement comes months after he took to his social media to celebrate the birth of his triplets, consisting of two boys and a girl.

    Ayefele has expressed appreciation to God, considering his current challenges after a spinal cord injury that left him reliant on a wheelchair.

    A gospel singer, Dorcas Awolumate is reportedly dead.

    News of Awolumate’s death filtered in through the social media on Tuesday, 15th, October 2024.

    The Gospel Artiste on Sunday celebrated her husband’s birthday with beautiful pictures of both of them.

    The cause of her death was still sketchy as of press time but a popular gospel artiste, Adeyinka Alaseyori was among the people that first broke the news on her Facebook page.

    Though Alaseyori did not mention the name of the artiste that passed, her comment section was filled with condolence messages and tributes of Dorcas Awolumate.

    Another gospel artiste, Ti Jesu posted on her Facebook, “I still can’t fully comprehend that Aduke Gold is gone forever, and now, Mama Dorcas too.

    “The pain is so real—it hurts deeply. Yet, in all of this, GOD IS FAITHFUL. I’ve been singing this song that brings comfort, though the shock remains.

    “We find solace in Christ, knowing you are now singing with the angels, and we will meet again on the resurrection morning.

    “Mama Dorcas Awolumate, you were a rare gem, and your legacy will live on.

    Rest on, Mama Dorcas.
    Rest on, Aduke Gold.
    Rest on, Mama Yemi Adeola.

    “It’s painful, but we know we have no control over death. Our comfort lies in knowing that you are now with the Father.“

    A cleric, Ayodele Israel also posted,

    Late gospel star, Dele Gold to be buried on Thursday

    The remains of popular gospel musician Jacob Dele Agbeyo, also known as Dele Gold will be buried on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) gathered that a burial committee, set up a few days after the singer’s demise announced the date.

    According to the burial program, the late singer’s burial rites will begin on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, with a series of event which includes, a service of songs, Christian wake-keep, candlelight procession, and Artiste Night at the Victoria Garden Conference Centre, Ikeja.

    The burial rites will continue on Thursday with a commendation service and lying-in-state at his residence, which is located at 5 Abiodun Ejigbadero Avenue, off Aina Ajayi Avenue, Ekoro Road, Abule Egba, Lagos.

    This will be followed by an interment at an undisclosed cemetery.

    It would be recalled that the late singer died on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, after a brief illness at the age of 48.

    He is survived by his wife and children.

    Popular Nigerian Gospel singer Dele Agbeyo better known as Dele Gold is dead.

    The NewsGuru.com (TNG) learnt  that the self-acclaimed Miliki gospel king had died on Wednesday after a brief illness.

    Colleagues of the deceased singer such as Titi Oguntoyinbo, Akinlabi Major, Alayo Melody Singer and Wonder Doyin Kujore have taken to their various social media handles to confirm his death.

    “Lord this is rude shock to me ooo hmmm,” Titi wrote on Facebook.

    Akinlabi Major also wrote on Facebook, “Let someone tell me this is not true. RIP Dele Gold.”

    “Dele Gold Kee???Ahh this is getting too much ooo!!!May God help us stop untimely death. Dele Agbeyo May your soul rest well,” Alayo Melody Singer wrote on Instagram.

    Wonder Doyin Kujore while reacting to the singer’s death on Facebook wrote, “Nothing is in this world, let us live today and leave tomorrow for God. I find it difficult to post people that died prematurely because it saddened my heart but I just have to pay my last respect here. Hmm This life is full of vanity. Rest on Dele Agbotikuyo Dele Gold.”

    TNG understands that Dele Gold’s death is coming barely a month after popular gospel singer Aduke Gold, died.

    Gospel singer Segun Obe on Saturday announced his marriage to the woman he described as the love of his life.

    This comes after the younger brother of singer and actor Tunde Obe via Instagram and Facebook on Saturday announced the good news.

    Tagging his post as breaking news, Segun Obe wrote ”Not a word failed of ANY GOOD THING which the Lord has spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass (Joshua 21:45).”

    The man who released his first single titled ‘Marry Me’ featuring Rymzo in 2006 continued “…and so, exactly a week ago, I got hitched with the love of my life NITA in the city of Accra in Ghana.

    “God is never too early, or too late…He is ALWAYS right on time.To God be the glory.”

    Following the announcement, fans, friends and colleagues of the singer stormed the comment section of the post to congratulates him for getting married at an age when others may have given up on marriage.

    Segun, who is reported to be 50 years old, has not been married before.

    Gospel singer Peterson Okopi has gotten engaged to fashion designer Prudent Gabriel.

    In the first post, he shared photos of himself with a beautifully lit sign behind him reading, “Will you marry me?”

    He captioned the post, “IN THE BEGINNING ……….. Happy new month family.”

    In another post, the singer in the video, is seen smiling sheepishly as he reveals the engagement ring still in its box.

    The video also shows him holding a flower, mouthing the sentence “She said yes,” and holding the hands of his fiancée.

    The year 2024 appears it is a season of marriage for gospel singers.

    Moses Bliss had his traditional wedding with his Ghanaian lover, Marie Wiseborn Agyare, on February 29.

    Minister Theophilus Sunday married his Jamaican lover Ashlee White on April 11.

    Also, Neon Adejo wed his partner Lade Kehinde on April 29.

    Iconic gospel singer, Yinka Ayefele has called the birth of his children a miracle, given his spinal cord injury.

    Speaking on Bae U Barbie’s ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ show, the ‘Odun Ikore’ singer noted that it is rare for a man with a spinal cord injury to impregnate a woman, highlighting his unique case.

    He debunked the claims that he “bought” his children, clarifying that he impregnated his wife, who then gave birth to their triplets.

    The host asked, “I’m shocked you said you have three beautiful and amazing kids. My question is, how did you do it?

    Ayefele replied, “How did I do what? Curious that I impregnated my wife? How did I get three kids? You would have seen pregnant women before. I impregnated my wife and she got pregnant and had triplets.

    “You thought I bought them? I don’t understand what you mean. I know you are curious, you want to talk about my spinal cord injury. Anybody who has a spinal cord injury might not be able to impregnate a lady. Yeah, it’s a fact, it’s one out of a hundred.

    In December 12, 1997, Ayefele had an automobile accident which has kept him in a wheelchair since then.

    He began his music career in 1997 and got married to Temitope three years later. They now have four male children.

    TheNewGuru.com (TNG) recalls that the famous Gospel singer and media entrepreneur, Yinka Ayefele, was almost moved to tears as one of his sons questioned him about being a cripple.

    In a video shared via his Instagram page, one of the triplets was heard asking his father why he couldn’t stand upright and walk like every other person.
