    VIDEO: Why I don’t want to go broke – Portable

    Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable or Dr Zeh has disclosed he does not want to go broke.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Portable made the disclosure when he featured in The Assorted Podcast where he spoke about himself and his career as a musician and a public celeb.

    The controversial singer dropped some wise words as he speaks on why he is always seen in furious confrontations with different people.

    He described the entertainment industry as a war zone where everyone is fighting to make it, and he has to struggle to make it so he doesn’t go broke, because nobody celebrates failure.

    He added that he has come to realize that people listen when you ‘para’ and the more he does that, the better they hear him.

    Speaking about his controversial personality and why he is always seen at odds with people, Portable said that he is an entertainer as well as a content creator and as such could always be seen doing a variety of things.

    Singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable has sent a direct message DM to fellow singer David Adeleke, professionally known by his stage name Davido to beg for a feature in his song.

    TheNewsGuru.com reports that Portable has begged Wizkid and Burna Boy to feature in his song.

    After the previous pleadings with Wizkid and Burna Boy that yielded no positive response, Portable again took to Instagram to beg Davido for just one verse.

    Sharing a video of him pleading with Davido to give him a chance as he already has a chorus prepared, Portable also shared a screenshot accompanied by voice notes from their conversation.

    The self-acclaimed ‘Wahala Musician’ wrote: “@davido Ogun Owo Music industry Carry Me Trabaye Bless me with one verse.

    “Who Go Help You No Go Stress You. I Gat Chorus ZAZUU IKA OF AFRICA. Dr ZEH Nation has many many inspirations.”

    Responding to his request, Davido simply hailed him as ”Zazuuu Zazuuu.’’

    Portable to be arraigned in court today

    Barring any last-minute changes, singer, Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable, will be arraigned before a magistrate court in Ota, Ogun state on Monday, April 3.

    Recall that he was arrested by men of the state police command on Friday, March 31.

    The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said that Portable will be facing at least a six-count charge, when he appears at the court following his unruly conduct and incitement against police officers last week Monday.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Portable was eventually arrested by the Nigeria Police, after he had earlier resisted arrest.

    The Zazoo crooner was arrested on Friday after the 72-hour ultimatum given to him by the Ogun State police command expired.

    The Ogun State Police Command spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed on Friday that Portable was arrested and is currently being detained at the Command’s headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta.

    The PPRO disclosed that Portable was arrested after failing to honour five invitations.

    However, Portable had given reason he resisted arrest by operatives of the Nigeria Police on Tuesday.

    Recall that the Zazoo crooner was handed a 72-hour ultimatum by the Ogun State police command to report himself to the nearest police station after he was captured in a viral video resisting arrest by policemen.

    Following the expiration of the ultimatum on Friday, the singer was arrested by the police and detained at the State Police headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta.

    In a new video making the rounds on social media, Portable was seen trying to defend himself at the Police headquarters.

    According to him, he didn’t know that the men who stormed his bar in the Sango Ota area to arrest him on Tuesday were police officers.

    “I didn’t know the people that came to my bar were police officers,” he said while standing in front of a police chief.

    The singer, who is increasing his business portfolio, has launched a new bar to the excitement of his fans.

    He revealed the good news on his Instagram page moments ago as he shared videos of the bar.

    Sharing important advice with his millions of followers, Portable told them to never stop believing in miracle and hoping.

    “Never stop believing hope miracle happen everyday Oluwa let my tomorrow better pass today. Who get God no dey carry last. There’s no competition because nobody can be me zazuu odogwu club and restaurant loading opening soon”, he captioned the video,” he posted.

    However, online critics took to his comment section to fault him for his poor taste of design.

    Many mocked him for designing his bar like a dining room and using flowers case as decor for a bar.

    Popular Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola better known as Portable, has cried out after his sister was beaten by some of his close friends in a dispute in which he interfered.

    The singer made this known via his Instagram Story on Friday.

    He shared the photo of his sister on the hospital bed, saying, “Olopa ma ko everybody, see wetin oke osa boiz do my big sister. Akoi big problem.”

    Portable stated that he was friends with the guys who beat him up and recounted how he helped them and how they were envious of his success.

Na my nigga shock me. I no know watein he use shock me o. We don gather dey back in the days. Base on say I make am, na me still dey help am.     Hours later, the singer shared a post on his Instagram that he had taken legal steps and briefed his lawyer on his incident.

    Controversial musician, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has opened up to his fans about the reason behind his ‘street’ behaviour, saying “people will always cheat you if you are calm”.

    The “Zazuu” crooner made this known in a recent interview hosted by Timi Agbaje, where he was asked why he always fights online.

    Reacting to the question, Portable asked the interviewer if he had been cheated before and he said yes.

    Portable further asked if he called out or fought the person over the wrong deed and the interviewer replied no.

    Street pop artiste,  Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as portable was on Friday pelted with all kinds of objects ranging from stones and bottles by angry fans during a show in Agege area of Lagos state.

    The annual show tagged ‘Afro and the Beats’ organized by another artiste, Agege based Small doctor had Portable enlisted to perform on the show.

    Trouble started when Small Doctor introduced and welcomed Portable to the stage for his performance but met stiff resistance from the crowd who felt bad that Portable had few days ago berated Small doctor on social media.

    Portable had on Thursday rained curses on Small Doctor, claiming to be more popular than the fuji pop musician in Agege.

    It is understood that the audience loyal to the Agege fuji pop musician considered his remark as a disrespect to the region.

    In a viral video on social media, the singer who was rejected and stoned with plastic bottles by the members of the audience, was seen telling them that they had “invited a madman”.

    He said, “Agege, the devil cannot build a house close to Jesus. Know what you are doing, you are the one that invited a madman. You will see madness.”

    Small Doctor’s pleas that he should be allowed to perform fell on deaf ears as the angry crowd continued to pelt Portable with stones and plastic bottles.

    Small Doctor said “It won’t be well with anyone that disrespects you, do you want to put me to shame?, Please don’t be angry.”

    But the aggrieved crowd insisted that Portable must leave the stage or apologise by prostrating for them before he could be allowed to perform.

    Earlier Portable and small doctor were seen hugging and chatting with the Agege based artiste claiming that he has forgiven Portable and no longer hold grudges against him.

    The beef between Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, known professionally as Portable, and his colleague, Small Doctor, may not end soon as the former, in a video, threatened to deal with the latter if seen in Ogun State.

    Small Doctor, whose real name is Temitope Adekunle, was accused to have arranged for his fans to stone the Zazu Zeh crooner with bottles in a show at the Agege area of Lagos, stopping him from performing.

    Portable took to his social media page to call out Small Doctor and accuse him of beefing up his glory.

    In a post, the controversial singer who seemed convinced that Small Doctor was behind what happened to him on stage in Agege, noted that it was a result of envy.

    Portable stated that Small Doctor is envious of him because he is the bigger music artiste. He then proceeded to rain curses on the Agege musician.

    According to Portable, Small Doctor was the one who told the crowd to attack him and despite that, none of the things they threw hit him.

    Not stopping there, the Zazu star warned Small Doctor not to come to any show in Ogun state because he will tell his boys to strip him naked and beat him up. He added that he has beat him up in the past at show promoter Abu Abel’s house and he will do it again wherever they happen to meet.

    He also went ahead to mention places where he would deal with Small Doctor if he happens to meet him there, places like Ibadan, Sango, Oshogbo and Ilorin.
