Coronavirus: Nollywood actress Uche Elendu slams Hilda Dokubo

Uche Elendu has disagreed with her senior colleague, Hilda Dokubo over her recent post on coronavirus.

TheNewsGuru recalls that Dokubo had called on pastors with ‘supernatural powers’ to go and heal people infected with the dreaded coronavirus.

Elendu took to her Instagram page on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, where she gave reasons for dissenting with Dokubo’s post.

She wrote: “With all due respect, I cringe at this post. My Jesus never went from hospital to hospital, or from one home to the other with the intention to heal people so under what authority will these pastors, you challenge do that?? My bible tells me that 100% of the healing Jesus performed was done by the Faith of the afflicted…

“The bible did not ask pastors to flex muscles by going from hospital to hospital to touch infected people, let us not in the scare of this pandemic make a caricature of the scriptures and the Body of Christ.

“Hold on to the promises of God over your life and Family, Pray, take precautionary measures and Be safe. This will surely pass,” she said.

  • How I got pregnant at the age of 16- Hilda Dokubo

Nollywood actress, Hilda Dokubo is an inspiration to many young actresses. The pretty actress known for her ability to interpret heartrending roles has shared the story of how she got pregnant at the age of 16.

Dokubo made this known at a recent church service, narrating how her father’s death affected her

In her words: “I was born with a silver spoon but death turned me poverty stricken after my father died when i was just nine. I turned away from God at that point because i felt disappointed that despite how much my father loved and served God, he still died.

“After my dad died, my mother completely lost her mind. If she were in U.S, am sure she would have been diagnosed as a mental case. You know in Nigeria, we don’t consider people mad until they have started eating from dustbin. I rebelled against God at that point and stopped going to church at the age of nine.

“However, i was a very brilliant girl and i got admission into the university at the age of 16. I became rascal and did what girls like that do. I slept with a man and i became pregnant. It wasn’t the Holy Spirit that impregnated me. My mom was devastated and disappointed in me because of that. I was angry with her because her God killed my father and we stopped speaking to each other.”
