    Nigerian singer, MC Galaxy, has revealed why all housemates in the Big Brother house should be evicted from the Big Brother Naija Season 6 show on Sunday.

    The singer, in a post via his Instagram account on Monday, called on organizers of the reality show to put all housemates up for eviction this week.

    MC Galaxy complained that lively housemates shouldn’t be made to leave while others ”sleep their way to the top.”

    According to him, since the show started, some housemates have not been nominated while some are busy sleeping away their careers and opportunities.

    ”Dear @BBNaija please we need all housemates to be up this week, apart from the HOH.

    “People cannot sleep their way to the top. Ever since the show started, some housemates haven’t been mentioned in the diary room for nomination while some are busy sleeping away their opportunities.

    “Meanwhile, the lively ones are busy going home. Do something,” he wrote.

    Big Brother Naija, BBNaija Season 6, Head of House Pere has issued a strict warning to his fellow housemates.

    Pere on Wednesday gathered the housemates in the lounge for a meeting.

    During the meeting, Pere told the housemates to take note of their designated chores and not disrespect him.

    Pere said: “There will be no disrespect as long as I am head of house. Have I made myself clear.”

    This got some housemates like Tega making faces.

    Recall Pere was the cause of a heated argument between Maria and Queen.

    The female BBNaija Season 6 housemates had a shouting match last night and called each other names.

    Pere felt insulted that Maria and Queen did not respect him enough but continued arguing.

    The Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) 2020 edition that garnered over 900 million votes has come and gone but the question on the mind of many is how much every housemate won while they were in the house.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports only two housemates, Ka3na, and Lilo did not get the chance to amass any monetary reward as they were the first to be evicted.

    Eric left the next week with $500 worth of Bitcoin courtesy of Patricia and Tochi the same with N222,000 in the bank.

    By calculations, the first housemate to make N1,000,000 was Prince, who coined his first milli with the Hawaii Soap victory, which took him from a total of just over N800,000 to a cool sum of just over N1,200,000.

    Nengi was not far behind as on that day, she had amassed N997,000. In the same band, was Erica with N972,000 and Laycon with N900,000 in total.

    Johnny Walker made instant millionaires out of Nengi, Laycon, and Vee, Pepsi made millionaires out of Ozo and Triky, Oppo did the same with Dorathy and Kiddwaya. MyPaddi rewarded Neo with the ultimate N1,000,000 prize for his efforts on the day.

    Who can forget that Lipton awarded the entire Top 5 with N1,000,000 each in addition to the influencer deals?

    Darling came through with a million each for Nengi, Prince and Trikyteee for their Wager, and for the season-long hair Wager they rewarded Prince again as well as Vee for maintaining her hairdo’s.

    He was the first housemate to get verified on Instagram. When this year’s edition of BBNaija kicked off one housemate that was underestimated was Laycon.

    The dude trended on Twitter for not fitting into the ‘look book’ of the viewers. He was bashed and still being criticized for what he has no control over. Someone even described him as a motivational speaker in the day and ‘marlian’ at night. Laycon’s management shared recently that the dude’s songs already has one million downloads on AudioMack.

    Sadly his attachment to Erica who already rejected his request to date her, seem to be distracting him.

    BBNaija 2020 housemates have started immersing themselves in tasks given by Big Brother.

    On Wednesday, the housemates were divided into four groups of five people each and mandated to produce their own nose masks as well as hand sanitisers.

     

    The development which comes ahead of the show’s get-to-know-me task on Thursday was an apparent response to the raging coronavirus pandemic that has affected every facet of life.

     

    In a blog post, the organisers said the task was to test the creativity of the housemates.

     

    “While the housemates were working hard to ace their get-to-know-me Task of the week, Big Brother decided to put their Lockdown-acquired skills to test. In addition to their creativity in making their own hand sanitizers and nose masks, the Housemates were provided with necessary materials for this task,” the post read.

     

    “For this Challenge, they were required to split themselves into 4 groups, 5 on each team.”

     

    In compliance with the government’s COVID-19 safety guidelines, members of each team were asked to sanitize their hands before and after the exercise.

     

    “An important rule: in this task, Biggie emphasized on the need to sanitize before the Task and after they are done,” it added.

    Big Brother Naija season five has officially started.The launch of the new season aptly tagged ‘Big Brother Naija Lockdown’ began eight minutes later than its scheduled 7:00 pm WAT with show host, Ebuka introducing the new house, its rules and eventually, the housemates.

     

    Meet the housemates

    After over two weeks of obligatory isolation and Covid-19 testing, the housemates were ready to be ushered into the show for a whole new season of premium entertainment.

     

    The first five housemates had bodies fitting demigods with conspiracies on top of their to-do lists. First was Ozo with a knack for playing pranks then the singing bird Vee.

    This year, fans have a glimpse at royalty with the third housemate Prince. Lilo the go-getter followed shortly and in her wake was the fun loving TrikyTee. Other new housemates include Lucy, Kiddwaya, Dorathy who seems to be a quick favorite, Praise, Wathoni, Tochi, Ka3na, the 6ft 5 Eric, Erica, Bright O, Kaisha, Neo, Tolanibaj, Laycon and the final housemate, Nengi.

    Housemates in the ongoing BBNaija season four threw a fun-filled beach party on Saturday night.

    News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that this party garnered better response than Sept. 7 which fans has described as boring.

    Housemates were dressed in colourful beach outfits by Hype and Steam with Carribean vibes, shorts and float dresses dominating the evening.

    The housemates spent time dancing in groups and in front of the mirror while DJ Sparrow provided great music mixes.

    Fans applauded the clothes housemates were given and cheered them for sticking to the theme during the lively party.

    @Anitalovelyne said, “Best of the Best shout out dj sparrow. Life of the party Frodd and Khaffi.”

    @Efebuddy said, “The party was lit thank you DJ Sparrow for spraying a good damn pepper on Simply Tacha.”

    Housemates of the just concluded 2018 Big Brother Naija(BBNaija) have congratulated Miracle Igbokwe for living up to his name and winning the TV reality show star prize of N25 million.

    They told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos late o Sunday after the show that Miracle deserved to win and wished him well in his future endeavours.

    Bitto, one of the housemates said that Miracle deserved to win because of his unique personality and the leadership he possessed and displayed among other housemates.

    He wished him success and believed that he would judiciously use the money and fame to bring positive change on the society.

    Similarly, Ahneeka, another housemate, told NAN that Miracle was a gentleman and that it was not a surprise that he emerged the winner of the reality show.

    She congratulated BBNaija for creating a platform that would help youths showcase their different talents that could catapult them to success in the society.

    In his reaction, K. Brule said that the show had helped him to learn more about emotional intelligence while in the house.

    He said he would put those things learnt to his advantage in advancing his goal in life.

    The up-and-coming songwriter and artiste said, ” I celebrate Miracle and congratulate him for winning the grand prize.”

    Rico Swarvey also said that BBNaija had given him a chance to project his talent as a singer to the world thereby creating the opportunity to meet with big shots in the music industry.

    Rico said that he was happy for Miracle’s win and wished him success in future.

    Lolu lauded the organisers of BBNaija for creating a platform where youths could discover their true nature, improve on their weaknesses and showcase their talents to the society at large.

    A 2017 BBNaija participant, Uriel, told NAN that she was impressed with the way and manner the participants conducted themselves while in the house.

    “I wish them success in future, “she said.

    NAN reports that Miracle Igbokwe emerged winner of the Big Brother Naija reality show after scoring 38.1 percent cent, being the highest votes from the fans.

    The pilot and model contested along other housemates for the grand prize of N25million and a brand new car.

    NAN reports that the event lasted 85days.

    He also emerged the winner of the Pepsi refresh the mix challenge and payporte games , being the housemate with the shortes time of 53 minutes, 30 seconds on the scoreboard

    Miracle as the winner of two other challenges, received another N2 million.

    Meanwhile, controversial Cee-C came second while Tobi Bakare was third, Alex came fourth place and Nina, fifth.

    NAN reports that more than 1000 viewers were at the the Podium Events Centre, Lekki.

    It was prepared by Multichioce for all the former housemates and fans to watch the grand finale of the 2018 BBNaija TV reality show.

    Six housemates are up for possible eviction, following the live nominations that took place earlier today.

    Unknown to the housemates, there won’t be eviction this week as viewers would be given the opportunity to vote for the return of their two favourite evicted housemates.

     

    The housemates who are supposed to be up for eviction are Teddy A, BamBam, Rico, Cee-C, Lolu, Alex and Tobi.

    Following Big brother’s announcement to bring back two evicted housemates to the reality show, divergent views have continued to trail the new development.

    The show host, Ebuka announced on Sunday that two of the evicted 11 housemates, including Anto, who was evicted on Sunday, would be returning to the show.

    In the same vein, evicted housemates have started canvassing for votes on social media.
