In the evening of October 4th, 2021, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp  crashed and stopped working. And it happened suddenly; one moment they  were on and the next all three platforms froze. Initially, my husband and I did  not realize what had happened.

I had a particular desire that was dear to my heart and besides praying about it,  I tried everything I could to see it happen. At some point, I realized I was fretting  and getting desperate.

The second weapon of our warfare our reading mentions is “a two-edged sword  in your hand”. This is the word of God.

As Christians, we do not deal with our issues in the natural ways of the world. 2  Corinthians 10:4 says, “the weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the  world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds” (NIV).

It has been a period of intense stretching for me. I have found myself dealing  with all kinds of frightening attacks from the enemy. From attacks on my health,  to my relationships and my mindset.

‘Do not judge a book by its cover’, is a common phrase, which portrays the fact  that the quality of an object cannot be determined by what it looks like. I have  on several occasions, cracked open an egg which looked good on the outside,  only to discover that it was rotten inside.

Worship can become a chore, especially when you have been in the faith for  quite some time. It can become something you offer to God because you must.  At such times, the heart can be distracted.
