    Celebrated Nollywood actress, Ini Edo and record label executive Larry Gaaga, got many talking recently after they were both captured in a loved up photo.

    TheNewsGuru recalls that Gaaga had posted the photo on his Instagram page followed with a caption in which he stressed on the need to stop fighting the old and instead focus on building the new.

     

    Alongside the picture which showed him grabbing Ini Edo’s behind, Gaaga’s wrote: “The secret of change is to focus all your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new. My mandy?? @iniedo”.

    ]As if that was not enough, Gaaga then complimented his post with a love and bride emoticon while tagging Ini.

    An excited Ini replied Gaaga with a comment on the photo: “Zaddy Jay to the world”.

     

    This made many Nigerians conclude that Gaaga has become Ini’s new man.

     

    Moments after the post had triggered diverse comments, Ini debunked such speculations, adding that the photo of her and Larry Gaga, was just picture from one of their scenes in a movie.

     

    “Guys, it’s a movie duuuuuh”, she wrote.

    Actress Ini Edo has revealed a new endorsement deal amid the lockdown in Lagos State.

    The actress revealed the brand that she has decided to represent following the conclusion of negotiations with her management.

    Ini Edo took to her Instagram account over the week to announce the deal with a luxurious kitchenware outfit.

    “I am super proud and excited to be a part of the Pedini family! I’ve just signed up with Nigeria’s number 1 Luxury kitchen brand and they’re about to give me an amazing kitchen makeover! Don’t worry fam, I will be taking you guys along on my Pedini Kitchen Makeover journey! So stay tuned,” she announced.

    On Wednesday, May 12, the actress subtly re-announced her deal with Ghanaian herbal drink, Adonko with a picture. Ini Edo held on to a bottle of the herbal drink and wrote, “Did I tell you Adonko is purely herbal? Yes, it is… Drink responsibly.”

    In February 2020, Ini Edo was first revealed as one of the herbal drink’s brand ambassadors. She was joined by Jim Iyke, Uti Nwachukwu, Charles Okocha, Melvin Oduah, Victor AD, and Teddy A as the brand’s ambassador.

    Nollywood actress, Ini Edo has donated to her fans and followers N300,000 to celebrate her birthday during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.

    The renowned actress, who said words were not enough to express how excited and grateful she was, took to her Instagram page on Thursday to appreciate God and to gift 30 fans to mark her day.

    “Happy birthday to Me ..A light on a hill that cannot be hidden, I will be giving out 300k to 30 people.

    “Note ..This is for people who are struggling to feed in this pandemic, not for career, school fees or any of those..for now ,Let’s eat and stay alive…

    The actress also advised Nigerians to keep to the directive by the Federal and State government in bid to curtail the spread of the disease.

    Edo is a Nigerian actress, who began her film career in 2000 and has featured in more than 100 movies. She debuted in ‘Thick Madam’.

    The actress who used to be a regular face on the screens and a delight to film lovers but lately has ventured into filmmaking has been slammed by her fans for allegedly going under the knife.

    The Akwa Ibom beauty who is selective of the kind of movies she stars in seem unperturbed by the barrage of comments on her picture.

    In a recent chat with Vanguard the actress said she embraced movie production because of her desire to discover new talents.

    “I think I’m one of the first actors who started producing. I also happen to be one of the first actors who put their films in the cinema. My first movie production with Emem Isong, ‘I Will Take My Chances’ gave birth to a new actor, Bryan Okwara. Also, Knocking On Heaven’s Door’, another movie that I produced gave birth to the likes of Adesua Etomi and Blossom Chukwujekwu because that was their first acting jobs but see who they are today. So, for me, discovering new talents is a way of giving back to the industry and I feel privileged to be able to make such impact”.

    Gorgeous actress, Ini Edo has revealed what she will do If asked to kiss an actor with mouth odour.
    The role interpreter who hails from Akwa Ibom state noted that If she is caught up is such a dilemma, she would tell the movie director to talk to the actor.
    Edo made this known in a recent chat on Net TV.
    “I will talk to the director to talk to the cast; I will tell the director that there is a problem. So the director will be in a better position to tell him to fix the problem, she said bluntly”.
    Ini who started acting in 2003 said being true to herself is the secret of her relevance.
    “I have just been true to who I am . The industry is a tricky place; it’s a place that if you are not carful it can overwhelm you. If fame is not well handled, it can overwhelm you one way or the other. These days of social media just makes it more complicated.What has always worked for me has been me being true to myself, not going with the norm or doing what every other person is doing”.
    The actress who has appeared on over 100 movies also bared her mind on the pressure women go through in our society.
    “The society puts a lot of pressure on women in Nigeria in every ramification, if you allow yourself get affected by these things, you see yourself becoming what or who you are not supposed to be. There is a certain pressure on you to be who you are not or to be perceived in a certain way.
    “From time immemorial, women don’t have a voice, we have evolved to pint where women are very strong willed these days. If they want something, they go get it, they work twice as hard as the men. They are very driven and you can see them achieving success in whatever thing they are doing”.

    Sensational actress, Ini Edo is back from her acting hiatus and ready to unveil her collaborative movie with Uche Jumbo titled ‘Heaven on my mind’.
    The Special Assistant to the Akwa Ibom State Governor on Culture and Tourism noted that men now date women for money, adding that the issue has to be addressed.
    “Men of these days are not what they used to be. But the issues are not addressed. Nobody is talking about it. That’s why Uche Jombo and I took that up and made it the theme of our new movie.
    Ironically, prostitution has reduced drastically. Young girls now go into different kinds of small-scale businesses like makeup, hair dressing and creams making. They now hustle more to make a living but I can’t say the same thing for men. I’m sorry but that’s the truth. For some men, their job is to move around from one woman to another for money. It’s like a full time job for them and nobody is addressing the issue. Don’t get me wrong, not all men do it, but some of them”, she stated in a chat with The Sun.

    Nollywood actress and movie producer is in a state of gratitude right now. The beautiful actress took to her instagram page sharing the testimony of how God protected her from an untimely death. She was supposed to be Reigners Bible Church were the church auditorium collapsed on the congregation.

    According to her: “2 days ago, I was very bitter about the unreliable nature of some of our airlines cancelling flights without prior notice thereby hindering my plans to attend a church service ceremony held in uyo.Now out of determination, I took a flight to calabar with the hope of being in uyo just in time for the service since the journey between calabar and uyo was just about an hour.

    The journey ended up taking over 7hrs because of an unexplainable traffic.No accident, good road no hitches just a headlock traffic. Whilst in the car, I started wondering why all my efforts to be at the service was being thwarted… then I got a call, that the entire church building had collapsed during the course of the service …. Once again, God had saved me..

    My heart goes out to the families of the departed..may the good Lord grant them the heart to bear the loss.

    Everyday we see is a blessing..it’s not because we are special or better..It’s the exceeding Grace of our Lord Jesus.Iam so humbled and grateful to God for preserving me… Happy thanksgiving…..”
    On Saturday, 10th of December the roof of Reigners Bible Church located in Akwa Ibom, collapsed on the congregation who gathered for their pastor’s ordination.
    According to reports, 200 people have been reported dead, while others are said to have been injured.
