    UCL: Injury boost for Bayern ahead Arsenal clash today

    About five Bayern Munich players who were out injured for several weeks have returned ahead UEFA quarter-final clash against  Arsenal today.

    Manuel Neuer, Kingsley Coman, Leroy Sane, will all be staging a return to the team

    Also the duo of Aleksandar Pavlovic, and Noussair Mazraoui are also back in training.

    The 37-year-old goalkeeper has missed Bayern’s last two games with Sven Ulreich deputising in his absence.

    Coman, Sane, Mazraoui, 26, and Pavlovic, missed the 3-2 shock defeat to tenth-place Heidenheim on Saturday, but have returned to training ahead of the game against the north London side.

    However, Sacha Boey, Bouna Sarr, and Tarek Buchmann missed Monday’s training session as they recover from injury issues.

    The German side has already flown to England  before taking on Arsenal at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.

    Bayern have lost their last two games, with the defeat to Heideinheim meaning that leaders Bayer Leverkusen, who face Werder Bremen at the BayArena on Sunday, are one victory away from winning a first-ever Bundesliga title.

    UCL: Injury boost for Arsenal ahead Porto clash on Wednesday night

    Arsenal football club received major  injury boost ahead of their Champions League round of 16 first-leg tie with Porto on Wednesday night.

    According to reports from the Emirat Camp, midfielders Thomas Partey and Fabio Vieira returned to first-team training ahead of the Porto clash.

    Partey has missed 23 Arsenal games due to a thigh problem

    The Ghana international also missed his country’s 2023 AFCON games in Ivory Coast.

    He last featured for the Gunners as a substitute in their 1-0 victory over Premier League champions Manchester City last October

    According to Football London, Vieira, who has been working his way back from a groin problem, was also in attendance at the open training session at London Colney.

    Vieira has been out with the injury since last November.
