2Baba declared missing, singer’s family petitions DSS

The family of Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba, has petitioned the Department of State Security (DSS) over the sudden disappearance of the singer.

The Idibia family in a statement on Friday disclosed that Tuface left home on Februry 10, without any security operatives and never came back.

They added that his friends claim they have been receiving messages from the singer, soliciting financial help, an act they consider disturbing; as according to them, Tuface is financially sufficient and has no reason to beg.

They noted that the singer was dedicated to his work and craft as he is always in the studio writing songs, but for the past few days, he has not shown up for any.

Calling for help, the singer’s family asked the state police to intervene and help find their son.

The singer, has however, been seen in videos shared on social media proposing to Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Irobosa Osawaru.

Following the proposal, Tuface’s mother, Rose Idibia released a video asking Osawaru to “free” her son.
