    Two time Commissioner and frontline Governorship Aspirant in Delta State, Olorogun Barrister Fred Majemite while addressing Journalists in Abuja, coñgratulated the PDP family for a hitch free National Convention and coñgratulated former Senate President, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, for emerging as the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

    Majemite described Senator Ayu as a thorough bread political titan with sound credentials capable of attracting more people to the party in the months ahead with a view to winning the Presidential Election come 2023. A development, which Majemite says will put Nigeria on a new path of growth and take NIgeria from the quagmire it is presently.

    Majemite who equally commended Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor, Delta State for the victory recorded with the just concluded Election of national officers of the PDP, called on all PDP members to work for the return of PDP at the center come 2023.

    Fred Majemite, the frontline Governorship Aspirant in Delta State also congratulated Anyanwu, Amori and other national officers for their victories. He expressed confidence in the abilities of the new national officers to take the PDP to greater heights.

    “Now that we have unanimously elected a new Chairman for our great party, the PDP along side other national officers, this is the time to give them all the needed support so that they can lead us to victory in the 2023 general elections,” Majemite, the frontline Governorship Aspirant noted.

    Senator Iyorchia Ayu has been elected as the new National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to head the party’s newly elected members of its National Working Committee (NWC).

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Senator Ayu became the National Chairman of the PDP at the party’s national convention, which began on Saturday October 30 and lasted till Sunday October 31 at the Eagle Square in Abuja.

    Ayu, the newly elected National chairman of the PDP has said the party is ready to take back power from the ruling All Progressives congress (APC).

    The PDP chairman promised to unite Nigeria and move the country ahead.

    “The PDP is back. We are determined. The other one is a contraption. PDP did it before, we will do it again. This is a quit notice to the other party. We are taking back the country. We will develop the country.

    “In two weeks time, you will see the power that will come back in PDP in every state. A small group of people decided to divide Nigeria. We will unite the country and move ahead to develop this country,” Ayu said.

    TNG reports Ayu emerged national chairman of the PDP as a consensus candidate to replace Prince Uche Secondus, who was suspended from the party.

    Ayu is taking over the leadership of the main opposition party alongside 20 others elected into various positions within the PDP NWC.

    A former President of the Senate, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, has emerged as the new National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

    Senator Ayu, a consensus candidate for the position, took over the leadership of the main opposition party alongside 20 others elected into various positions within the PDP National Working Committee.

    The new set of leaders were elected at the party’s national convention which began on Saturday and lasted till the early morning of Sunday.

    Hundreds of party delegates participated in the election of the new national officers at The Eagle Square in Abuja.
