  • Actor Yul Edochie’s Son, Star Dike finally visits grandfather, Pete Edochie

    Popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, got social media buzzing when he shared a video of his family’s visit to his dad, Pete Edochie’s home.

     

    Yul broke the internet on 27th April 2022, after sharing photos of his new baby, Star Dike Edochie, with his side chick, Judy Austin, turned second wife.

     

    However, following the criticism that trailed Yul’s 2nd marriage, Veteran Actor Pete Edochie has remained silent on the matter.

     

    Just recently, Yul and his 1-year-old son paid a visit to his father’s house and the movie star could not help but share the adorable moment on his Facebook page.

     

    In the video, a very cute grandfather-child moment was captured as Pete Edochie held his grandson. Yul was also heard in the background communicating with his dad.

     

    Captioning the video, he wrote; “Star Dike meets his grandfather Chief Pete Edochie, Ebubedike”.

    Yul Edochie’s decision to take a second wife seems not to have resonated with his family, especially his father, the veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie,

     

    The actor (Yul) had taken to his Instagram page to welcome a son from Judy, calling her his second wife.

     

    Reacting to the news, his father, Pete banished his son’s second wife from entering his household.

     

    The ace actor made it clear that he does not support his son’s action and that as an Igbo man, who doubles as a statesman, he only recognises his son’s first wife, May.

    He said: “I want the whole world and Nigerians to understand that as an Igbo man, I never support my son’s actions and as a statesman, I only Recognized his first wife as the only authenticated wife of my son, the rest is banished from entering my household.”

     

    Pete Edochie, also said taking a second wife is an open invitation to anarchy, as he bore his mind that Yul had the second wife and son without his blessing.

     

    He also said that his youngest child, Yul has been independent-minded right from when he was a child and never really listened to him.

     

    “I’m not shocked that he has a son without my knowledge. A child that doesn’t listen to his father ends up cutting his or her life span short” Pete added.

    Recall that Edochie had surprised many with the announcement of his son he had with another woman, Judy Austin whom he referred to as his second wife.

    According to him, a man can actually love two women.

    He said, “At this stage in my life, I think it is possible for a man to love two women because two women can contribute differently to the man’s life.

    “Someone cannot come into your life and make so much impact and you just cannot let this person go. Of course, a lot of people would say, as a married man, why did you allow a woman to come into your life. I said it is wrong, and I take the blame for that.

    “These things happen. Let’s be honest. It happened to me. I realized I just could not let this wonderful woman leave my life.

    “These are very wonderful women in their own rights. They bring different things to the table. You can actually love two women. A man can actually love two women at the same time. I thought it was not possible, but now I realize it is possible.”

    He stated that he has come to realize that a man can actually love two women; what he initially thought was impossible.

    “It’s time for the world to meet my son. His name is STAR DIKE MUNACHIMSO YUL-EDOCHIE. Born by my second wife @judyaustin1 And I love him so much, just as much as I love my other children,” he captioned the photo.

    His announcement shocked many Nigerians as the actor is well known for his regular posts about his commitment to his wife and how she has stood by him.

     

    Just hours after unveiling his new family, the actor celebrated his first wife on Instagram by sharing a photo of her.

    After trending for days after his revelation, the actor took to Instagram to solicit the support of Nigerians for his political ambition, noting that they should transfer the same energy they used to criticise him to vote him into power.

     

    Edochie, on Monday, shared a video of his new wife, Judy Austin Moghalu, showing off her singing talent.

     

    The father of five shared a video via his Facebook page, which he captioned – “secrets you didn’t know about Judy Austin.”

     

    On his Facebook video, Judy was spotted singing melodiously and her voice endeared fans to her.

    Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has reacted to criticisms after he married a second wife, actress Judy Austin and welcome a baby with her.

    TheNewsGuru reports that in a recent post shared by Yul on his IG page, he said people who do not understand that every action taken by him has a root cause, people who do not live with him and his family.

    His post reads; ”GOD IS PREPARING ME FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL SEAT OF OUR COUNTRY NIGERIA.

    In the last couple of days I have been insulted by people all over the world who do not know the reasons for my decision.
    I have been attacked by people who do not understand that every action taken has a root cause, people who do not live with me and my family therefore they will not know what inspired my action.

    Have I insulted any of the people insulting me? No.
    Have I attacked any of them? No.
    I have remained calm.

    That’s the quality of a leader!!!

    God is putting me through all of this to prepare me for the Presidential seat of Nigeria,” he said.

    Lady calls out father’s second wife for supporting Yul Edochie

    A lady simply identified as Kelechi Moon has since gone viral after she called out her step-mom on Facebook over a post supporting Yul Edochie’s marriage to his second wife, Judy Austin.

    Moon said her father’s second wife, Chioma Okechukwueze, came into her family and destroyed her parents’ blossoming 35 years marriage.

    She then cleared that Okechukwueze was merely supporting Yul Edochie’s second marriage because she was a second wife, herself.

    Her post was, however, greeted with mixed reactions as many dragged her. Replying to people critiquing her post, she said people who have not been victims of polygamy would not understand her pain.

    In her words: “If you aren’t a victim of polygamy home you won’t understand my pains. If you haven’t been denied Father love and care you won’t understand my pains.”

    According to her: ”If you haven’t sat and watch what your mom work for good 35yrs been taken away from her and leaving her heartbroken you won’t understand my pains. I’m not against my father marrying a second wife but chasing my mom away, making my father to turn his back against us is what I’m f!ghting for.”

    “My father was a good and loving father before getting married to her. If my father wasn’t a good father before getting married to her I won’t attack her but my father changed immediately she came into our home, she is in control of everything including our home. I saw a lot of comments saying this isn’t a thing of social media but we have tried to settle this for the past 7yrs as family settlement isn’t working, she refused peaceful settlement.”

    She recalled: “A lot of people said I should leave this battle for my mom but i can’t because after knowing what I and my siblings with my mother passed through in the hands of my father and Chioma it breaks us all the time. I and my siblings need father’s love. Is it too hard to fight for father’s love and care? My mom is very much alive for those asking if my mom is still alive and still married to my father . THANK YOU EVERYONE,” she wrote.

    Popular actor Yul Edochie broke the internet recently when he announced his second wife, Judy Austin and their babyboy.

    You would also recall that After Yul made his marriage public, his first wife of 17 years, May, reacted, calling on the judgement of God on both of them.

    May, who had four kids with Yul, also unfollowed her husband on Instagram after the news.

    While everyone still thought the news a prank, Yul and his second wife have continued to consolidate the gig.

    Yul wrote just yesterday, stating that it felt good breaking the internet after the announcement of his second marriage to the actress.

    On his social media pages on Thursday, the latest polygamist stated that he has become the most talked about man on the planet.

    Uche Edochie, elder brother to Yul Edochie has narrated how his family tried to stop the Nollywood actor from marrying his second wife, Judy Austin, stressing that the family is not in support of the second marriage.

    Yul caused a stir on social media on Wednesday after he went public with his second marriage to Judy and revealed they have a son together.

    Reacting to the news, Yul’s brother, in a lengthy Instagram post, said his brother’s wife of 17 years, May, has been unfairly treated.

    Uche wrote: “Hello guys. So my younger brother Yul Edochie just married a second wife out of the blue and Nigerians are freaking out. I get it. We are all shocked. I am a low key type of guy and I have tried to mind my own business but this circus is chasing me around too. So here is my take.

    “I see two main problems here. His first wife Mary, a wonderful woman and my sister in law did not go into a relationship with my brother agreeing to be part of a polygamous marriage. That’s the first problem. So I feel for Mary. It is not fair on her. My family are not in support. This is not what we do and we are trying our best to console Mary. What else can we do?

    “The second issue is that Yul is not a Muslim. If he was a Muslim, no one will be talking about this. Muslims marry as many wives as they want and nobody says shit. Traditional rulers and traditionalists of sorts do the same thing too and the Nigerian constitution recognizes polygamy as a legal marital union. Maybe we should burn that bloody constitution.

    “We told Yul not to do it. He did it anyway. Have you ever tried controlling an adult when it comes to relationships? Good luck with that. Yul is an adult who feels marrying a second woman is the best way to own up to his mistakes and make things right. It took a lot of courage for him to do this too.

    “A Muslim marries two or more wives and his people throw a party. Totally normal. A Christian does the same thing and he is the worst human being alive. It is tough. Women throw themselves at famous people so bad that it is suffocating. If the average person walks in Yul’s shoes for one year, they will get five or more women pregnant. So don’t be quick to judge if you have not lived that life. Most people will do worse.

    “So this is Yul’s new baby with his new wife. Beautiful boy. Children are a gift from God. It is the circumstances of their birth that gets us all riled up about what’s right and wrong. I wish them all luck. Maybe Yul should become a Muslim and shut this circus down. It is said that life is what happens when we are making other plans. I was minding my own business. And now this. Fantastic”.
