    The daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla Ojo has opened up on her childbirth journey after welcoming her first child with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.

    TheNewsGuru.com(TNG) reports that the new mother explained that the initial plan was to dress up and create content for the moment, but when contractions began, she could not bear the pain.

    She added that her son arrived earlier than expected, even though his due date was set to fall on the same day as his father’s birthday.

    She wrote: “We had to rush to the hospital at 3am! Contractions isn’t a joke, all plans to slay at the hospital and create content were cancelled. Me: Rakeem, your due date is the same as Papa. Rakeem: Please, this woman, I want my day alone. @juma_jux sorry, my love, your son wants to shine alone”.

    The new mother and her husband have received congratulatory messages from fans, colleagues, and friends across social media.

    Priscilla Ojo, and Tanzanian musician, Juma Jux, have welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, in Canada.

    The news was confirmed by veteran Nigerian thespian, Iyabo Ojo in a post shared on her social media handles on Sunday, August 24, 2025, where she expressed her joy and gratitude for the safe delivery of both mother and child.

    It would be recalled that Priscilla and Juma Jux, who tied the knot earlier this year with wedding ceremonies held between February and May 2025, first announced their pregnancy in July 2025. Just three days ago, the couple hosted a blue-themed gender reveal party, officially confirming they were expecting a boy.

    The announcement has sparked widespread congratulations from fans and fellow celebrities across Nigeria and Tanzania.

    Priscilla, a Nigerian influencer and entrepreneur, and Juma Jux, a celebrated East African singer, have been in the public eye since confirming their relationship last year, with their union becoming one of the most talked-about celebrity marriages of 2025.

    Both mother and child are reportedly in good health, and the families are said to be in high spirits as they celebrate this milestone.

Their union began with a Nikkah and civil wedding in Tanzania in February, where Priscilla’s conversion to Islam was a significant milestone.

    Priscilla Ojo, a Nigerian influencer and brand ambassador, was surprised with a Range Rover by her Tanzanian singer husband, Juma Jux, at the final leg of their grand wedding in Tanzania.

    The guest list included Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, music legend Chief Ebenezer Obey, and Nollywood icons such as Mercy Aigbe, Toyin Abraham, Sola Sobowale, Ruth Kadiri, and Femi Adebayo.

    Just two days later, the couple held a white wedding ceremony on a picturesque beach in Lagos, opting for a more intimate affair.

    Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux, has opened up on the ordeal that resulted in meeting his wife, Priscilla Ojo.

    The singer while speaking at a surprise second engagement party held in Tanzania on Wednesday, recounted how he missed his flight at a Rwandan airport and couldn’t get a business-class seat on the next available flight, and then he saw Priscilla laughing at him while he was passing through the business class of the plane.

    He said that his attraction to Priscilla was love at first sight, adding that it wasn’t easy to win her over.

    Jux further narrated that even after taking his number, she refused to text or call him, and when he eventually texted her after another meeting, she didn’t reply.

    The singer noted that, despite the snub, he wasn’t deterred and soon realized Priscilla was the woman for him.

    He said, “The first day I saw Priscilla in Rwanda, I missed my flight and could not get a business-class seat because it was complete. I was pissed off, and after passing through the business class section, I saw her laughing at me.

    “She took my number, and I told her to text me, but she did not. When we met again, I texted her, but she did not reply. In East Africa, I have fans, and people recognise me, but when she was around, it was just the two of us.

    “I did not care about anything else because I was on a mission. I had always been mindful of my brand, but none mattered with her. As we continued meeting, I realised she was the woman I had been waiting for. God brought everything together in His perfect timing.”
