    Cristiano Ronaldo sister slams Sariball

Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister Elma Aveiro has taken aim at Maurizio Sarri after Juventus lost the Coppa Italia final against Napoli on penalties.

Gennaro Gattuso’s side triumphed after a goalless 90 minutes in which Sarri’s men struggled to carve out any clear chances, while Napoli were unlucky not to score a winner late in the game.

The defeat was the first time Ronaldo has ever lost consecutive finals in his career with the Portugal forward criticised for his performance by Luca Toni.

Elma has however leaped to her brother’s defence on social media as she seemingly slammed Sarri’s tactics and pleaded for Ronaldo’s Juventus teammates to step up.

“What more can you do? My love, you can’t do miracles on your own,” she wrote on Instagram.

“I can’t understand how you can play like that. Anyway, keep your head up, you can’t do anymore.”

Napoli stunned Juventus when they won 4-2 on penalties to claim the Coppa Italia on Wednesday after the two sides played to a 0-0 draw behind closed doors.

Paulo Dybala and Danilo missed Juve’s first two efforts in the shootout while Napoli converted all of their attempts to give Coach Gennaro Gattuso, the first major trophy of his coaching career.

It was the first title to be settled in the Italian season, which has just restarted after a three-month hiatus because of the coronavirus crisis.

Napoli nearly won it in stoppage time but were foiled by a superb double save by Juventus’s 42-year-old goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon.

    There was no extra-time.

Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri admits trying to bring the best out of Paulo Dybala can be a headache.

Sarri hailed the Argentine forward’s skills and explained that this is a pleasant headache for the coaching staff.

“Paulo [Dybala] is a phenomenal player,” he said ahead of the Old Lady’s game against Milan in the Coppa Italia.

“He is a star, although tactically it is difficult to make him coexist with Cristiano Ronaldo.

“It is not easy to get them to play together, but with the technical and physical qualities Ronaldo and Dybala have, they can make a difference at any time.

“The team must adapt to these qualities, but it is also true that the area is a bit empty, although it is a pleasant difficulty.”
