    BBNaija S9: Kassia evicted from reality show as husband confesses to housemates

    Big Brother Housemate, Kassia has been evicted from the ‘No Loose Guard’ season on Sunday night, becoming the fourth solo housemate to leave the show after the housemates were separated.

    The housemate was evicted first, after bagging the lowest percentage among other housemates nominated for eviction.

    Speaking about her time in the house as a married woman, Kassia said; “I dont think i was limited, i enjoyed myself, Naturally, i am not the type that flirt with guys.

    Speaking on what next, Kassia says, she will continue to grow her hair business.

    Meanwhile, Kellyrae has revealed his marital status with Kassia to the rest of the housemates.

    The revelation comes shortly after his wife, Kassia was evicted from the show.

    A downcast Kellyrae told the housemates; “Today makes it eight months, I and Kassia are married.”

    A video of the first -ever married contestants of Big Brother Naija season nine, Kassia and Kellyrae, who are going by the name Double Kay in the house, sharing their first and special kiss, has surfaced on social media. 

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that ‘Double Kay’ kept their marital status a secret from their other housemates as part of their strategy. 

    Interestingly, Kellyrae are the first married couple to participate in the long-running reality show

    However, after weeks of maintaining the besties façade, Kassia recently confided to Biggie that the deception is becoming increasingly difficult to bear.

    “This whole best friend thing we are doing is getting to me.

    “Sometimes I just want to jump on him [Kellyrae], but I can’t because of this whole bestie thing,

    “Most of the tasks that we are asked to do, like the Aquafina Padi of Life task we did yesterday, I couldn’t really express myself because I didn’t want the house to know that we were married. It hasn’t been easy, Big Brother,” she said.

    In a video that surfaced on social media, the couple who apparantly misses eachother, shared their first kiss since getting into the house.

    Kellyrae playfully warned Kassia, saying, “They will catch you today,” to which Kassia giggled and replied, “I missed you so much.”

    The kiss got all the viewers applauding and praying against the couple being caught.

    Kassia: How it feels like being in BBNaija house as a married woman

    Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 housemate, Kassia has opened up on the highs and lows of being in the BBNaija house as a married woman.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Kassia is wife to Kellyrae, who are both participating in the 2024 edition of the BBNaija reality TV show as Doublekay.

    The Doublekay duo hiding the fact that they are married left fellow housemate, Toby Forge hitting at Kassia.

    During her diary session on Wednesday, Kassia owned up that though Toby Forge has been making efforts to forge a strong bond with her, she won’t allow that to happen.

    “The low for me is the fact that I am not able to really express myself to him [her husband, Kellyrae]. The high is that it has been fun for us. I am really enjoying myself and Kelly is really making me enjoy my stay as well.

    “The past few weeks; he has been the one taking care of me. I have not been doing my wifey duties. He has been the one taking care of me and that is amazing. This whole bestie thing is really not easy for me because sometimes I just want to jump on him,” Kassia said.

    She also disclosed that after the last task in the house, she felt a strong desire to express her feelings towards Kellyrae but was afraid that doing so might reveal to the housemates that they are actually married.

    Speaking on if her husband, Kellyrae has changed towards her, Kassia said: “There is nothing new about him. He is still the same person. I think the first week, he was calm than usual but I understand it is about what happened when we were entering the house. He is getting back to who he is”.

    Recall that Kassia had earlier visited the Big Brother kitchen to inquire about Toby Forge, referring to him as her ship.

    When she asked, “Where is my ship?”, immediately, Kellyrae, who happened to be present in the kitchen at the time, answered her, revealing that her ship, Toby Forge, gears a lot.

    For the entanglement between her and Toby Forge, she said: “Toby Forge is my friend. I know he likes me. He suspects that me and Kelly are not just besties.

    “He told me that when we leave the house and he finds out that we are in a relationship, he will never talk to me again. I really wish I could tell him, but I can’t. Toby is trying to forge a strong bond with me, but I won’t let that happen”.

    During his own diary session, Kellyrae confirmed the relationship between his wife, Kassia, and fellow housemate, Toby Forge with Biggie.

    When Big Brother asked Kellyrae about Toby Forge, in response, he said: “He is my wife’s new ship”.
