There was mild bedroom drama between Ilebaye and Kiddwaya in the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) All Stars house last night.

Kiddwaya was lying in bed last night when Ilebaye joined him, but he appeared not to be in the mood for company.

This is coming after Kiddwaya described Ilebaye as red meat in the midst of hungry lions.

Kiddwaya asked Ilebaye to leave his bed so he can get some sleep. However, Ilebaye was a little pained by this and said that she cares about him, the reason why she had joined him in bed.

She then offered to sleep at the side edge, but Kiddwaya still insisted that she leaves the bed completely because he doesn’t want any problem.

2023: Kiddwaya’s mom, Susan Waya joins Benue guber race

BBNaija star Kiddwaya’s mom, Mrs. Susan Waya has joined the 2023 governorship race in the state, on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Susan, who spoke with newsmen shortly after obtaining her nomination and expression of interest forms at the PDP secretariat in Abuja, said she was hopeful of picking the party’s ticket for the Government House.

“A state abundantly gifted with rich, agricultural fields covered by fresh, clean, and unadulterated flowing rivers, one of which it was later named after, Benue is a safe-haven in the grasslands with vast human resources.

“The state had and still has irreplaceable potential, and has a strong promise for a better future.

“Our state was so endowed that it was projected to feed the entire nation and serve as a gateway for export to other countries. Unfortunately, our motto as the food basket of the nation has become a fantasy over the years.

“The euphoria that accompanied the creation of Benue in 1976 has vanished, leaving behind a frightening reality of underdevelopment, unemployment, poverty, hunger, insecurity, corruption, and a loss of pride,” she said.

Susan said that her focus was to restore the lost glory of the state.

“Our priority is to restore our beloved state back to its glory days and build a more productive and diversified economy by investing heavily in security, agriculture, infrastructure, health, power, ICT, and tax cuts,” she said.

Susan said that she plan to broaden the economic base of the state by unlocking it great potential, especially in the rural areas.

“The plan is to assemble all the indigenous engineers and architects through the Ministry of Works to plan and restructure our state to accommodate an international airport, new roads, flyovers, stadium etc.

”Others are hospitals, schools, ICT/innovation centers, and other modern social amenities across the state in order to boost our economy and attract global investments.

“Also, we are going to establish an education strategy that will be both essential for individual development and for national growth. Our commitment is to provide free pre-primary to primary education, upgrade higher education institutions,” Susan said.

She said that she also plans to initiate a social investment scheme to uplift the living conditions of the people of the state, who were living in extreme poverty.

“The government will make sure that no child’s opportunity is hindered by economic circumstances.

“It is time to move away from the past. We cannot continue to support or vote based on sentiments. It is important to support and vote for someone who is capable with a proven track-record of performance over the years.

” I present myself, not because I am a woman or a mother, but because my wealth of experience in the private and public sector has earned me tremendous knowledge, skill, and capacity to understand the numerous challenges of the Benue people and proffer long-term solutions.

“It is our responsibility to rewrite the socioeconomic narrative for ourselves and the future generations. Let us work together to make this campaign a reality by supporting my fresh and innovative ideas that can propel Benue forward,” she said.

Susan is so far the only woman in the 2023 governorship race in the state.

DJ Cuppy opens up on relationship with Kiddwaya

Nigerian disc jockey Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola also known as DJ Cuppy has cleared the air concerning her friendship with Kiddwaya, the ex-BBNaija housemate.

The Nigerian billionaire’s daughter spoke during an Instagram live chat with Kidwayya on Wednesday.

The duo sparked rumour of a romantic relationship in 2020 when Kiddwaya sent wishes to the disc jockey during a diary session of the BBNaija reality show.

“The second message goes out to my second favourite girl Cuppy. I know she supports me out there. Thank you for your support. You have always been there for me and always close to my heart. I love you always,” he had said.

The duo, however, fell out on the set of Highlife, a British documentary-reality TV show, and it affected their real-life friendship.

DJ Cuppy said the platonic relationship between them is “very misunderstood,” because most people believe they hate each other.

She added that they “are super close as friends” while professing the amount of respect she has for the reality TV star.

“I feel like our friendship is very misunderstood. The fact that people actually think that we have bad feelings towards each other is mad,” DJ Cuppy said.

“Because it’s the opposite, we are super close as friends. I have nothing but respect for you, and I’m really proud of you. I’m so proud of the man that you’re becoming.”

Last year, the celebrity best friends got social media users talking after Kiddwaya is seen kissing DJ Cuppy on the cheek, in a public display of affection(PDA) in one of the photos.

Some commenters suggest that they should take their friendship to a next level and start dating.

Popular disc jockey, Florence Otedola, known as DJ Cuppy, has said that having a fallout with reality TV star, Kidd Waya, was tough for her.

Cuppy said this during an interview with the Pretty Little Thing podcast, which was published on Wednesday.

DJ Cuppy and Kiddwaya, who featured in a British documentary-reality TV show, Highlife, had a fall out during the show which affected their real-life friendship.

The Oxford Master’s student said, “That was really tough for me because it was real life. For the viewers that don’t really understand. I and my friend had a real falling out during highlife and that was on camera, which was okay but it was really tough because we actually fell out.

“I don’t really know how else to explain that. When you and your friend fall out, it’s not nice. It was difficult but Kidd is a great guy. He’s a superstar. There were some funny moments on the show.”

Sometime during the show, DJ Cuppy had poured a glass of drink on Kiddwaya when he stated that her billionaire lifestyle was the reason she was single.

Reacting to the incident, she said, “What would you do when a guy says, ‘I can see this is why you’re single?’ What do you do? And also, why is being single being used against me?

“He is single himself which is quite interesting. A guy being single in Nigeria is like ‘ohhh, you’re the man.’ I’m so sick of this patriarchy. It’s very difficult but what I would say is that I’m glad we made up. We’re fine now and I have so much respect for him.”

BBNaija: People said we showed things that made Erica, Kiddwaya look bad-Ebuka

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the host of popular reality television show, Big Brother Naija, has revealed that people said they showed content that made Erica and Kiddwaya look bad.

The TV host made this statement during an interview with BeatFM . He also refuted speculations that he had any grouse against Erica.

He said, “I like Erica; I really like Erica, which is also funny because people thought that I hated her. She gave us good content; she and Kiddwaya. People say we showed some things that made Erica and Kiddwaya look bad and I ask how? How did we make them look bad? Everything that has been revealed on the reunion show is actually on air. It just so happened that people decided to assume what they assumed.”

He also added that NBC regulations stopped the show from airing explicit content.

“First things first, we live in a country that has regulations. We all know about the NBC; there are certain things we can never show whether we like it or not. I always say that the show would be a different show if it was not a Nigerian show or if it was not in Nigeria because of the kind of things that we cannot show. Those things are not in our call; it is just legal issues.

“Secondly, this talk about what we showed about Kiddwaya and Erica; we actually did not show anything about them if anybody remembers. Nothing was shown about them. We did not show anything. In fact, it was even Ka3na and Praise that people saw under the sheets.

“A lot of these things happened under the sheets; so, we do not know what is happening. We are not going to send a ninja to remove the sheet so that we can get a good shot”.
