    2023 Elections: Nollywood actor, Kolawole Ajeyemi dissociates himself from wife, Toyin

    Popular Nollywood actor, Kolawole Ajeyemi, has dissociated himself from his wife, Toyin Abraham, amidst the backlash trailing her political party affiliation in the 2023 elections.

    Toyin, who is a stern supporter of the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, has since been faced with backlash over her choice of party.

    Despite the attacks from opposition party supporters, she carried the flag of APC unperturbed.

    In a recent post via Instagram, Kolawole addressed trolls coming for him and his children while emphasizing that he had nothing to do with his wife’s political stance.

    He wrote: “Good day everybody, it’s not like I asked anyone of you to vote for any candidate or campaigned for any party and the fact that my wife is supporting a specific party doesn’t mean that I’m supporting her. So, those of you laying curses on my children I rebuke it all and I wish you all the same. And I repeat I did not campaign for any candidate.”

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Ajeyemi, in a recent interview, said being married to a good wife would lead to progress for a man.

    Speaking during the interview session shared on his YouTube Channel, Ajeyemi said: “My wife is the one thing I love the most, though I also love my kids and my mother. Aside from God, my wife makes me happy. If one has a good wife or husband, the person does not know how much God has blessed one.

    “If one gets married to someone that is not meant for one, there are bound to be problems. That does not mean me and my wife don’t have disagreements. No relationship is perfect. The individuals involved just learn to tolerate one another. If one gets married to a good wife, one would make progress in life. May God help those looking for life partners to choose right.

    “People say a wife must not be richer than her husband but if God has destined one person to be richer than the other, one is good to go. The most important thing is that they support each other. Having love for one another is the most important thing. Our leaders would treat us better if they love us. The Bible says, ‘Love your neighbour as yourself’.”

    Recall that Ajeyemi and Toyin officially became a couple on the 4th of July 2019.

  • Toyin Abraham’s management reacts to marriage crash speculation

    The management of Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi has reacted to rumours making the rounds that the actress’ marriage is about to crash.

    Toyin Abraham is married to fellow actor Kolawole Ajewole for four years now.

    Recall that controversial blogger, Gistlover had alleged that Toyin’s husband was not happy in the marriage as the actress “barely slept in their matrimonial home”.

    The blogger also alleged that the marriage had been “shaky” for a while now but the couple had been putting up a strong front for social media.

    Meanwhile, Toyin Ajeyemi’s management has issued a statement via its Instagram page saying that its client’s  marriage is still very much intact.

    The post reads “I just saw a report of an ‘untrue’ and alleged ‘shaky’ marriage of our talent, Toyin Abraham and her Nollywood star husband, Kola Ajeyemi.

    “Often time, people say there is no smoke without fire, but this time around we assure all fans of Toyin and Kola Ajeyemi that there was no smoke talk less of fire.

    “This story is not true. Toyin has not slept out in months except for location or when she’s out of town for job. Most often than not, she and her husband holiday together both within and outside Nigeria.

    “We understand there are people who feed bloggers and gist merchants lies so as to achieve selfish interest, we leave such people in the ‘hand of God’.

    “We also acknowledge concern that people have shown regarding the marriage and prayers that God will sustain it. We thank you and appreciate the concern. But we can assure them that the marriage is intact, not shaky and all is well.”

    Nollywood sensation Toyin Abraham surprised her husband Kolawole Ajeyemi by inviting Timi Dakolo to sing and wish him happy birthday.

    The actress shared a heartwarming video of singer Timi Dakolo, giving a private performance to her husband in the early hours of today.

    According to Toyin, Timi is one of her husband’s favorite artists and she decided to surprise him with the singer’s performance.

    She posted the video on her Instagram page and wrote: “I got him @timidakola is one of his favorites so I brought him home to wish him @kolawoleajeyemi happy birthday.”

    Toyin Abraham and her husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi are certainly one of the most talked about celebrity couples in the Nigerian entertainment industry at the moment.

    Eniola Badmus, a friend and colleague of Toyin Abraham celebrated her 20 years on stage event yesterday in Lagos.The epoch making occasion was attended by Davido, KWAM 1, Iyabo Ojo and others.

    As a result of the timing of the event, Toyin Abraham wanted to leave early, but her husband urged her to stay. He advised her not to leave the people that were her friends before they got married.

    This touched the heart of Toyin as she took to her instagram page to pour encomiums on her darling husband.

    Recounting the story, the ‘Ghost and Tout Too’ actress wrote:” At the Eniola’s party, it was fun but timing became late. I informed my husband @kolawoleajeyemi that it was time to go home. He said NO. Don’t leave the people that were your friends even before we got married. You should not become their enemy because you are now married. That sentence touched me. I became emotional but importantly grateful that God gave me this man full of wisdom.

    TheNewsGuru recalls that the couple couldn’t let go of each other at the event. A case in point was when Kolawole held on to the lengthy train all through her movement on the red carpet, into the hall and when called on stage to receive her award.

    Kolawole Ajeyemi, Toyin Abraham’s fiancé has subtly reacted over his take on the dirty feud between his partner, Toyin Abraham, and colleague, Lizzy Anjorin.

    Ajeyemi waded into the war of words by reiterating on the need for the actresses to stop misbehaving on social media.

    In a recent post on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, the actor and director took a trip down memory lane on how he joined the industry and learned the ‘appropriate’ ways to behave and act like a movie star.

    According to him “We ought to have used social media for more useful and impactful things and not this misbehaviour.”

    Kolawole who honed his acting talent under the tutelage of Segun Ogungbe in Abeokuta, Ogun state, worked and had a friendly relationship with Lizzy Anjorin. The two have appeared in more than three productions together.

     

    In an extended interview with Gboah TV, Anjorin alleged that she has no issues with Toyin Abraham other than her inability to curb her fans.

    Anjorin said Abraham has grown her social media followers to attack her colleagues and fail to render help when needed.

    Anjorin insisted that she has a pure heart and that was why she has decided to respond to Abraham.

    On Wednesday, September 18, 2019, Toyin Abraham released video of her son’s birthplace and hospital saying she never told nor announced that she delivered her baby abroad.
