Dancer Jane Mena and hubby expect first child

Famous Instagram and controversial dancer, Jane Mena, and her husband, Andre Plies, are expecting their first child together.

The excited dancer took to her official Instagram page, where she announced her pregnancy to her social media family.

In the post, Jane is seen rocking a sheer alter-dress, one that revealed her baby bump, while she held hands with her husband, Plies.

Jane and Plies had their traditional marriage back in 2019, but according to her, they have been together since 2010.

She wrote: “Anytime I remember that I’m still a
v!rg!n, tears go just dey fall for my eyes, oh my dayzzzzzzz, I will surely keep this till the end of time?”

In another post, she wrote: “I met MY HUSBAND the YEAR 2010 and all I can say is I did this FOR and WITH the right man and that’s ON GOD❤️. Don’t forget to follow @janexplies to be updated always❤️”

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Jane and  Andre had their marriage on the 14th of December 2019, and two years after their marriage is still standing.

Recall that the dancer was dragged into a beef involving Tonto Dikeh and her estranged ex-boyfriend, Kpokpogri.

Tonto Dikeh during one of her posts on Instagram warned Jane Mena about an alleged possession of her sensitive contents by Kpokpogri.

The warning from Tonto saw the two women coming against each other on social media. At some point, people thought Jane Mena’s marriage was at risk because of the incident but with the recent updates from the Instagram dancer, there is nothing wrong with her marriage.

Also, ever since the drama started, nothing has been heard from Jane Mena’s husband as he has maintained total silence on the issue.

Jane has been striving in her career, constantly sharing content on her page, there has never been a time she said her husband complained about her work.

Jane’s marriage is indeed one of the marriages that rarely exist in today’s world.

“I was supposed to be a pastor”- Tonto Dikeh reveals

Nollywood actress turned politician, Tonto Dikeh, has revealed her interest in being a pastor, saying “I was supposed to be a pastor, I still might be”.

She pointed out that being an actress was never part of her dream as a child but was opportuned to find herself in entertainment.

According to the actress, her initial career path was to be a pastor and that acting was an unexpected opportunity.

Tonto, who is the deputy governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers state, made this declaration during an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo.

Speaking on her reason for joining politics, she revealed that she had ventured into different career paths despite once being a church girl who hoped to become a pastor.

In her words: “I’m an opportunist with this thing called acting or entertainment. But for God, he has ordained that step already. For me, I was just swimming in a swimming pool.

“I mean, I was a church girl going to be a pastor. I was supposed to be a pastor, I still might be. Depending on where God is taking me to.”

"I was supposed to be a pastor"- Tonto Dikeh reveals

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that in June 2022, Tonto was announced as the deputy governorship candidate under the African Democratic Congress in the 2023 Rivers State gubernatorial election.

She was welcomed by port Harcourt people after her declaration as deputy.

Her traditional marriage to Olakunle Churchill was held in August 2015.

In 2014, she was rumored to have been in a sexual relationship with Rukky Sanda. However, during an interview with Rukky Sanda the rumour was debunked.

In February 2016, Tonto gave birth to her son, whom she nicknamed Baby X. However, since then, the couple has gone and moved different ways.

Tonto had in early October 2021 entangled herself in a web of controversy after publishing in her social media handles, purported voice notes suggesting that her ex-lover, JOSEPH EGBRI (popularly known as Prince Kpokpogri) had sex tapes and nude photos on his smartphone of Usiwo Orezimena Jane, a Nigerian dancer, popularly known as JANEMENA.

The actress was reported to have made the allegations in the wake of her messy breakup with her ex-lover, Kpokpogri, in September.

  • Kpokpogri finally clears air about role Tonto Dikeh played in the demolition of his Abuja house

Kpokpogri finally clears air about role Tonto Dikeh played in the demolition of his Abuja house

Joseph Egbri, aka Kpokpogri, a politician and former lover of actress, Tonto Dikeh, has finally cleared the air about the role Nollywood actress played in the recent demolition of his house in Abuja.

Kpokpogri pointed out that the Federal Housing Authority (FHC) and Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) are liars from the pit of hell to have said they had given him several notices before the building was eventually demolished.

“They had the audacity to come into somebody’s property, without prior notice, and demolished it because they are in power. Very soon, they will leave power, and the same treatment they meted out to others would be accorded them.

“It was after I built the house that the place became habitable, and activities began to pick up in the area. I daresay it was that building that attracted development in that area. The place was practically a bush for many years.

“Even the original allottee got that allocation in 2015. If they knew there was to be a road there, why did they not revoke it (the allocation)? When I was building (my house), the FHA usually came to supervise the building from the beginning to the end. Even when I was putting up a fence, they came.

“They just came from nowhere with a vicious excuse which I consider to be an afterthought that a road is supposed to pass through my house. There are empty lands there (in the area) that people have not built, why doesn’t the road go through those on occupied lands, he said.

Talking about the role Tonto Dikeh played in the demolition of his house, Kpokpogri asserted that those linking her to it are liars.

“Those are lies. Tonto has nothing to do with it. She knows nothing about what happened there. I believe there are some people behind what happened and God is going to expose them all. They will suffer 10 times what I did on that day, because that thing (demolition) is not ordinary.

“I cannot kill myself. I have my kids to live for. There are also many youths who depend on me to survive. I don’t care what she is saying. I don’t even want to say anything about that girl. I don’t want to be involved in anything concerning her,” he added.

Tonto Dikeh’s former lover noted that the reason his house was demolished has nothing to do with the claim that it was because there was to be a road there, but because he is not a northerner.

In his words: “This same thing has been done to many of our southern and eastern brothers. There is a man who built a very massive estate of over 100 units here in Abuja. But, because he is from Anambra State, when the man was building, nobody went there to put up any notice (for him to stop work).

“But, as soon as he finished building, they went to mark the place for demolition. What kind of oppression is that? Something needs to be done about that. I am sure something like this would not have happened to a northerner in a place like Asaba or Warri (Delta State).”

On how he acquired the land, Kpokpogri explained that it was a lawyer in the FHA, one Mr Uche, that sold the property to him.

“Being a civil servant, he should have known that a road would pass through the property he was selling, so why did he involve himself in that kind of transaction.

“After buying the two plots, I took my building design to them. When they saw the design, they condemned it. They said they were the ones that would draw the design for me, that they could not allow me to go ahead with it.

“I said if that was the case, so be it. They then did the design, signed it, brought it back to me, and gave me a copy after I had paid for my building development.

“I paid all the fees I was required to pay to the government, including the building approval. If the building approval was not properly paid, they would not have allowed me to start any work on the property,” he posited.

Kpokpogri opined that the minister that ordered the demolition of his house does not have the fear of God and kind of house, saying “even when his personal assistant, Sani Daura, came to my house, the first thing he said was, ‘Oga, this your house is beautiful. Even my boss does not have this kind of house”.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) recalls that the FCDA claimed the demolished building (Kpokpogri’s house) was obstructing a road alignment that was designed to serve as an important bypass to the Abuja-Keffi axis.

Reacting to the claim, he said: “Those are lies. Go and check the Abuja masterplan, if there is any road like that passing through that place. Go and check the FHA master plan. I went to the FHA three times and they asked me to go, that my house would not be affected.”

Tonto Dikeh reveals plan to send Kemi Olunloyo to jail

Popular Nollywood Actress, Tonto Dikeh, has revealed her intention to send controversial investigative Journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, to jail, saying “Na Ogun go help me put her back for jail”.

She stated this while reacting to Kemi’s seemingly using her name to ‘chase clout’.

She took to her Instastory to write; “It’s like Kemi wants me to talk to her or something. Na Ogun go help me put her back for jail. Make we start to do goFundMe for you again, Agbaya!! Olodo.”

    See her post below:
    Tonto Dike

Tonto Dikeh made the news some days ago for gloating after her ex-lover, Kpokpogri cried out on social media that his expensive house in Abuja was being demolished by the FCDA.

The single mother-of-one had taken to her page to boast that what was happening to Kpokpogri is the result of him messing with the wrong woman.

Many people dragged Tonto Dike for rejoicing over someone’s downfall but Tonto shut those critics down.

Recently, Kemi Olunloyo had a live session with Kpokpogri and she asked if Tonto Dikeh had a hand in the demolishing of his house.

Kpokpogri disclosed that she wasn’t responsible for the demolishing and Kemi retorted that Tonto was only laughing at her ex-lover because of clout.

It would be recalled that the Managing Director, Federal Housing Authority, FHA, Gbenga Ashafa, visited the site of Kpokpogri’s multi-million naira mansion in Abuja, in the company of some top management team of Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA.

The officials claimed that the plot of land originally belonged to FHA, but a proper building plan was not approved before the mansion was erected.

According to FHA, notices to stop work were served at different stages and times of the work, but Kpokpogri refused to comply.

Also, the Executive Secretary of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), Malam Shehu Hadi, who was also in the team that visited the site, said the road alignment had been done long ago and FHA was duly notified.

Hadi noted that the alignment, which the demolished building obstructed, was designed to serve as an important bye-pass to the Abuja-Keffi axis.

He added that any plan to realign the road because of the building would be difficult and not a fair judgment to those that it would affect, considering that the demolished building was not in existence earlier when the plan started.

Speaking on the development, the Director, FCTA Department of Development Control, Muktar Galadima, said the mansion, was unapproved, and couldn’t be allowed to override public interest.

He said the building was an obstruction to a major road network, connecting the popular Apo Bridge to many parts of the city.

He explained that the land has been duly allocated to carry out its Mass Housing Programmes.
