    I wanted to spend just two weeks, promote my songs and leave, BBNaija finalist Laycon

    Big Brother Naija 2020 housemate Olamilekan Agbeleshe popularly known as Laycon has disclosed that he did not take the reality show so serious, to even think of making it to the final stage.

    He said his mission was to come and ‘catch cruise’.

    Reacting to his emergence as a finalist of the show’s Season 5 edition, the rapper said he is grateful to be a part of the top five.

    According to him, this shows that a lot of fans are rooting for him.

    In his words, they have faith in him.

    On how he feels to still be in the house Laycon said during a diary session with Big Brother : “It was actually a month after I released my EP, and I saw it. I was like I can actually go in there to promote my music, my songs, and myself. Even if it is two weeks and leave. I just wanted to come and catch a cruise here.

    “I feel good you know, I feel great. I feel very happy. It feels good to be here Big brother. I feel very grateful and thankful on my part that I didn’t get evicted, and it made me feel like a lot of people have faith in me, the kind of faith I don’t even have in myself. I’m really happy about that… I’m happy I’m a finalist, I’m happy that Dorathy is here.”

    One of the five finalists in the Lockdown house will emerge winner of the BBNaija season 5 on 27th September 2020, and will go home with grand prize worth N85 million.

    BBNaija housemate, Nengi on Sunday night gave reasons she refused to accept Ozo’s proposal to her.

     

    Ozo during his stay in the Lockdown house made advances at Nengi, proposed a relationship but was rejected.

     

    Nengi rejected every time, saying she was not ready for a relationship.

     

    TheNewsGuru recalls that Laycon during a conversation with Nengi asked why she refused to have a relationship with Ozo despite their closeness.

     

    Nengi, who was in a sober mood after Ozo’s eviction, said she takes her time before dating anyone and that she was not sure if Ozo could deal with her excesses.

     

    “It will take time for me to date anyone because I need to be friends first and be sure he can deal with the excesses.

    “I like him a lot, cried in the diary room several times because of him but I need to be outside the house before I make any decision.

     

    “Most of my exes were my longtime friends before we started dating because I know the kind of person I am.

     

    “When I fall in love it is really deep.”

    Big Brother Naija, BBNaija housemate, Vee on Thursday night told Laycon she almost had sex with Neo.

    Vee during a chat with Laycon about her relationship with Neo, said she‘s shocked she has not had sex in the house because it’s been very difficult.

    According to her, she has been so close to having sex with her lover, Neo severally.

    She said they came close to having sex several times but he always stopped just before it escalated.

    Vee tells Laycon: “You need discipline not to have sex, it’s so hard not to have sex in this house.

    “I and Neo came close to having sex, he stops mostly before we begin and I’m thankful for that.”

    BBNaija housemates; Laycon, Dorathy, Ozo and TrikyTee have been nominated for possible eviction.

    The four were put up for possible eviction after six of the remaining seven Housemates nominated two members after they were grouped into two teams by Biggie through a blind process after the ninth Head of House game.

    Nengi had scaled through the nomination process after emerging the Head of House for the second time.

    Dorathy, Neo, and Ozo fell into the black group while Vee, Laycon, and TrikyTee fell into the white team.

    Biggie tasked the groups to have conversations for 30 minutes on the choice of two Housemates from each team that would be put up for possible eviction.

    The Black team nominated Laycon and TrikyTee while the White team nominated Dorathy and Ozo.

    It is believed that two of the four nominated Housemates will be evicted during the ninth Sunday Live Eviction.

    Five Housemates are expected to stay during the final week of the show.

    As the reality Tv show is gradually coming to an end, the current deputy head of house who recently opened up to Kiddwaya about his preference in women said older women are undemanding, adding than age has nothing to do with love.

     

    “I’m attracted to women older than me. Age does not have anything to do with relationship”, Laycon said. “The oldest I dated was four years older than me”.

     

    TheNewsGuru recalls that Laycon made headlines in the show’s seventh week after disqualified housemate, Erica lashed out at him for saying she tried to kiss him several times.

    Kiddwaya had declared that his lover, Erica, was being disrespected by the other housemates because of Laycon.

    “I also felt people are trying to disrespect the Head of House, Erica and that this very unfair,” Kiddwaya had said.

    Actor, Timi Egbuson has averred that Kiddwaya wanted Erica to be disqualified.

    The outspoken actor said Kiddwaya could have restrained Erica, but he didn’t, stating that he was more interested in Nengi.

    Timini made this known via his Twitter handle on Sunday.

     

    TheNewsGuru recalls that Erica in a new interview said Kiddwaya contributed to her disqualification.

    “What drew me to Kiddwaya was we have some similarities. We are both carefree, we are both crazy and kind of complete babies too and our conversations flowed naturally”, Erica said.

    “I do not think Kiddwaya feels the same way about me but I do not care about that. I think Kiddwaya played a role in my getting strikes. I think it is still my responsibility and I feel I also played a role in him getting strikes”.

     

    Asked about her rift with Laycon, she said things went sour between them cause he tried to taint her image after a one time, drunken attempt to kiss him.

    BBNaija: Trikytee emerges new Head of House, picks Laycon as Deputy

    TrikyTee has beaten seven other Housemates to emerge Head of House (HoH) for the first time in eight weeks.

    The eighth Head of House game was keenly contested with Kiddwaya out of the game due to suspension.

    During the game, Dorathy, Neo, TrikyTee, Ozo, and Vee won the challenge.

    It was not only historic but also saw Ozo opening the Golden chest.

    The tie saw Big Brother asking the Housemates to begin the game again but this time for only 50 seconds.

    However, TrikyTee emerged victorious to clinch the head of House title.

    He nominated Laycon as his deputy after Biggie gave him the option to choose a deputy that is not necessarily the opposite sex.

    In a new twist, the HoH and DHoH gain immunity from possible eviction and access to the luxury lounge for the week.

    Biggie also gave the deputy Head of House the choice of not sleeping in the HoH luxury lounge.

    Big Brother, however, announced that Kiddwaya’s suspension from the Head of House games as well as enjoying any privileges of the Head of House ends tonight.

    As usual, the games began with Biggie explaining the games to the Housemates.

    The Housemates were glad to have Biggie’s voice back with them, so they paid rapt attention.

    The Housemates had to play the same HoH game, which required them to move across a numbered mat within 2 minutes.

    This week, Biggie made a few changes calculated to waste the housemates’ game time such as spelling words with straws, sketching a picture of a human, and several others.

    The Housemates did their best to avoid them, but really, no one can control the fall of the die.

    As before, to start the game, the Housemates had to throw a ‘6’ on the die. They would then move forward on the mat depending on the number they roll on the die the second time.

    Big Brother Naija, BBNaija 2020 housemate, Laycon has opened up on what transpired between him and Erica after the eviction show on Sunday.

    Laycon who had admitted to show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu that Erica severally tried to kiss him, said Erica confronted him to stop talking about her.

    He told Neo that he does not want to ever talk about Erica again since she has also warned him to stop talking about her.

    Neo had said, ‘’Guy anything you don’t have the nerve to own up to, keep it to your mind.

    “Erica was talking about you one day and I walked in and told her to change the topic.

    “On Sunday she said you make her look somehow. It’s only God that is keeping me in this house.

    Laycon who was stunned about Erica’s defence said,” I don’t want to talk about her because she said I should stop.

    Nengi made the comment while celebrating her Johnny Walker challenge triumph.

     

    The housemates, Vee, Nengi and Laycon who were named, ‘Team Gold’ emerged winners of Johnny Walker challenge on Tuesday.

     

    They won one million each and an all-expense paid trip to Scotland.
