Popular reality TV star, Adekunle Olopade, has shown interest in being the host of the popular reality show, Big Brother Naija, BBNaija.
Olopade made it known that he’s ready to take over from the current host, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, in the future.
The BBNaija ‘Level Up’ finalist, applied for the role in a public post shared on his Twitter handle on Monday,
Sharing the application on social media, the 27-year-old tagged the official Big Brother Africa handle to let the organisers know of his seriousness.
Adekunle made it known that this might be the best time to start learning how the job is done from the current host Ebuka.
He wrote: “Might be time to start learning the ropes from @Ebuka. Fingers crossed, and hoping to host the Big Brother Show one day @BBNaija @DStvNg. I think it’s something I can do.”
Organizers of Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, ‘Level Up’ have revealed that housemates, Chizzy and Rachel, the ‘Riders’ would remain in the house till the last day.
The organizers made this disclosure via their Twitter handle on Monday, September 6.
This comes after queries raised by viewers who have speculated the purpose of the two housemates since they are not in the house as “Fake Housemates“.
It would be recalled that during the nomination session, some of the housemates who have no knowledge of their status in the house had nominated Rachel and Chizzy for eviction.
However, to foster the illusion that they are Housemates, the duo (Rachel and Chizzy) are usually called into the diary session like others; their votes, however, doesn’t count.
To allay concerns as to when or how they would be evicted from the house, organizers of the show made it clear that the two would remain in the house until the last day.

“Chizzy and Rachel are Riders and will therefore be on the show till the last day. #BBNaija”.
Though the reality TV show is full of twists, before now, Bryann, Phyna, Chizzy were to be evicted on Sunday.
Chomzy, a Big Brother Naija housemate, has boasted that she will survive this week’s eviction.
Chomzy made this known during a conversation with her love interest, Eloswag.
Recall that Doyin, Bryann, Phyna, Eloswag, Chomzy, and Bella were put up for possible eviction this week.
They had the highest nomination during the nomination process.
Speaking on Tuesday, Chomzy said Bryann, Phyna, and Chizzy will be evicted on Sunday.
She said, ”We are not going anywhere. Bryann, Phyna, and Chizzy are up. They will be the first to go home.”
Recall that Diana and Giddyfia were evicted from the reality show on Sunday.
Also, Deji, a fake housemate, was told to leave the show.
Big Brother Naija housemates, Ilebaye Precious Odiniya and Ismail Rukuba Ahalu, aka Khalid, Sunday, were evicted from the reality TV show.
Ilebaye, a Level 2 housemate, is the third person to be evicted from the Level Up show, but shortly fellow Level 2 Khalid was announced as the fourth housemate in the eviction exercise.

While Phyna was in tears over being saved, Daniella wept over Khalid’s exit from the reality TV show.
Amidst hugs with the housemates, Khalid shared a passionate albeit quick kiss with his lover, Daniella, before exiting the show.
While on stage, he confirmed that what he felt for Daniella was real and expressed he was looking forward to getting deals and making money.
At the end of the live show, Daniella was seen sitting alone with her head lowered as she cried over his exit.
Recall that the housemates were nominated alongside Bryann, Groovy and Phyna.
The top two housemates with the highest votes this week are Phyna and Bryann.
Last week, Christy O and Cyph were evicted.
They were nominated by Adekunle who won last week’s head of the house.
The winner of the edition will walk away with N100 million worth of prizes.

He then made his way to Ibadan’s Airforce Military School. Khalid from BBNaija graduated from Ahmadu Bello University as well.
Industrial Engineering Design was his chosen field of study.
Like a viewer of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), Level Up edition said, “this Khalid has a mission,” but the unknown was what the mission was until Daniella on Friday revealed that she is happy for being made a woman, claiming to have been a girl for a very long time.

Although the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 7 Level Up housemates, Ismail Rukuba Ahalu (a.k.a Khalid) and Daniella Utangbe Peters, have enjoyed each other’s company under the sheet on Sunday night, July 31, the latter has revealed what she would do if her parents peradventure ask her about it.
The duo, who have been very close in the show, were caught by camera cuddling and kissing under the duvet as they shared a bed together.

In a conversation with Khalid, who hails from Kissaloi area of Plateau State, 22-year old Daniella recalled her suggestive moment with him.
Daniella, an indigene of Obudu- Cross River State, wondered how her parents will feel or react upon seeing the video.

He also teased Daniella a bit by stating that her parents will know that “she has started doing what women do.”

The names of the final 12 housemates that will thrill the audience for the next couple of months have been released by the show organizer.
The season 7 edition of Big Brother Naija show, themed: ‘’Level up” kicks off with 12 housemates battling for N100 Million worth of prizes.
The housemates would be lodged for 72 days to entertain TV viewers across Africa and beyond.
The host of the show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu ushered the housemates into the #BigBrotherNaija house at the launch of the show on Saturday.
He promised viewers that this year’s edition would be filled with twists and turns as it would see the return of fan fave ‘Ninjas’ and other twists.
The season 7 launch will continue on Sunday.
This year’s winner will be walking home with an N100m grand prize— a cash prize of N50m and N50m worth of prizes from the sponsors. In addition, 30 fans of the show will win N1m each in the ‘Fave Lock-In’ promo exclusive to DStv and GOtv customers.
The show will retain its voting style from last year, as it (voting) will only be on the Big Brother Naija website, mobile site, and the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps for active customers.
