    SAD! Mother of two dies during sex romp with married lover

    Tears, sorrow describes the atmosphere in the family of the late 37-year old mother of two children, Lugas who died in the house of her lover during sexual intercourse.

    The police command in Adamawa State on Friday confirmed her.The police also confirmed the arrest of the lover, a certain Lekan Agboola, a telecommunication engineer as part of inquiries to ascertain the actual cause of her death.

    The state police spokesperson, DSP Suleiman Nguroje, who spoke with newsmen in Yola, said Agboola was being detained at the command’s criminal investigation department.

    Agboola said Lugas had been his girlfriend for more than three years, adding that he has a wife and two children living in Lagos.

    Narrating the circumstances surrounding the death of his partner, Agboola said he called the late Lugas to meet him at home.

    He said it was while they were having sex that he noticed she suddenly became stiff.

    He said, “On February 24, 2021, around 9am, I called her on the phone and asked her to see me because we had not seen each other for some time. When she arrived, we started having fun and she suddenly collapsed.

    ‘’When I realised she was not breathing, I then called one of my female friends and told her what happened. She advised me to take her to a hospital where she was confirmed dead.”

    The family of the late woman said they suspected foul play, urging the police to get to the root of the case.

    In the same vein, a relation, Bridget Lucas, said she was at home with her late sister on February 24 when Agboola called her on the phone.

    She said she later got a call from Agboola, less than an hour later, notifying her of Lugas’ death.

    She added, ‘’I appeal to the police, Adamawa State Government, civil society organisations and well-meaning Nigerians to ensure justice for Andi and not let the matter be swept under the carpet.”

    He is Fidelis Anosike, founder of Folio Media Group, a multimedia company which owns Daily Times Nigeria.

    In the second photo, Anosike hugs her from behind as they both smile to the camera.

    Although they have been romantically linked to each other in the past, this is the first time the actress will be confirming the rumours.

     

    Mr Anosike has close ties to the entertainment industry as he is the organiser of The Miss Nigeria pageant. The 45-year-old actress has never been married and is one of Nollywood’s most eligible bachelorettes.

    Dominic who is an iconic fashion personality once said her mood determines her fashion style.

    Family members of a 43-year-old man identified as Enuduisu Godday Odili who died after sex romp with a commercial sex worker in a brothel in Port Harcourt, Rivers State say they suspect foul play.

    They are now calling for an investigation into the circumstances that led to their brother’s death.

    The deceased, a native of Delta State was said to have lodged in the brothel with a commercial sex worker on Thursday night.

    However, his family was told of his death on Friday.

    The deceased brother said when they called him on the phone; it was picked by a Police Officer who asked them to come to the Azikiwe Divisional Police headquarters, Illabouchi, Mile 2 Diobu, Port Harcourt.

    The deceased youngest brother, Mr Chukwuemeka Odili said the family is suspecting foul play, while urging Rivers Commissioner of Police, CP Joseph Mukan to ensure that justice is served in the matter.

    SP Nnamdi Omoni, the Spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command said the lady who camped the deceased in her room in the brothel has been arrested by the Azikiwe Divisional Police headquarters while the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Port Harcourt is handling the investigation.

    Displeased at his wife’s alleged adulterous life, a 55-year-old civil servant, Mr Sola Ola, on Monday prayed an Igando Customary Court in Lagos to dissolve his 16-year-old marriage.

    Sola said that his wife, Tola, with whom he had three children, was wayward and promiscuous.

    “I got information from people in our community that my wife was having extra martial affairs but I ignored it since there was no evidence to support it.

    “In March, I received a call from somebody at 12:30a.m. to come and see my wife with one of her lovers at their hiding spot.

    ” I rushed to the scene and caught her and her lover in a compromising position, touching each other,” he said.

    According to the petitioner, since that day, his wife refused to return home.

    “Whenever we had a misunderstanding, she would bring out either a knife or a bottle threatening to stab me.

    “My brothers seized three knives from her at different times; those knives are still with them,’’ told the court.

    He said that Tola was troublesome and frequently fought with him and their neighbours.

    Sola added that Tola was uncaring, allowing her children to go to school without food.

    He told the court that he could no longer tolerate his wife’s infidelity.

    Responding, 50-year-old Tola denied being wayward and promiscuous.

    She submitted that Sola became hostile to her since he married another wife.

    “I never had any extra martial affairs.

    “My husband and I did not have any problem until five years ago when he married another woman.

    “Since that time, he refused to eat my food and make love to me,” she said.

    The respondent also said that she cared for the family while Sola did not.

    “When I was sick and admitted in a hospital for days, my husband never came to check on me nor paid the bills,” she added.

    She prayed the court not to dissolve the marriage, saying that she still loved her husband.

    The Court President, Mr Adeniyi Koledoye, urged both parties to be peaceful.

    He adjourned the case until Dec.17 for judgment.

    Sad! 39-year-old man to die by hanging for murdering lover

    An Abeokuta High Court on Wednesday sentenced a 39-year-old man, Musiliu Owolabi, to death by hanging for killing his lover, Afusat Idowu.

     

    Owolabi, an automobile mechanic was sentenced on one count of murder.

    Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu ,the Chief Judge of Ogun State while delivering her judgment, submitted that the prosecution had proved its case beyond reasonable doubts that Owolabi was guilty of the offence charged, hence, convicted him.

     

    Dipeolu, said the crime committed breached the provisions of section 319 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ogun 2006.

     

    She held that the evidence presented by the prosecution was tenable and therefore, sentenced Owolabi to death by hanging.

     

    Earlier, the state prosecution counsel, Mr James Mafe, Director of legal Drafting, Planning Research and Statistics, said the convict committed the offence on Feb.1, 2018, at Camp area in Abeokuta.

     

    Mafe said the convict took his lover to a hotel for pleasure after a while she complained of stomachache and later started foaming from her mouth.

     

    Mafe added, “The convict took her to his vehicle, on his way he noticed she was dead, and secretly took the deceased to an uncompleted building, dug a shallow grave and buried her without disclosing to anybody.

     

    “The convict was arrested when the younger brother of the deceased went to the police station to complain that his sister who told him she was going for a naming ceremony at Bode Olude area never returned.

     

    “Upon police investigation, with the help of tracking the deceased phone, it was discovered that the convict was the last person that spoke with the deceased.

     

    “On his arrest, he made a confessional statement to the police and took them to where he buried his lover .”

     

    The offender had earlier been arraigned on Nov. 12, 2019, and had pleaded not guilty to the charges.

    Man set himself, lover ablaze in Benue over marriage proposal rejection

    A 40- year-old man Nicodemus Nomyange set himself and his girlfriend Shininenge Pam ablaze.

    Nomyange and Pam died from the fire incident whicj occurred off Inikpi street, high-level area of Makurdi on Saturday .

    Their corpses were taken to the Federal Medical Center Makurdi and deposited by officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps ) FRSC) who were at the scene

    Reports revealed that Nomyange has been dating Pam for some time .

    It was learnt Nomyange, who is married with children, proposed to marry Pam, who sources said turned him down on the basis that she preferred to marry a single and not married man.

    The rebuttal hurt Nomyange, who proceeded to her apartment on Saturday evening and set it ablaze after locking everyone in.

    The estranged lovers got burnt despite efforts to save them by neighbours.

    While Nomyange died at the spot, Pam later died on her way to the hospital.

    Benue Police spokeperson Kate Anene confirmed the incident.

    Man in police net for allegedly killing, burying lover at construction site in Lekki

    Operatives of the Lagos Police Command have arrested 29-year-old, Segun Titilayo, for allegedly killing, burying his lover.

    The deceased, Oritoke Manni, 26, who was a bar attendant at KC Hotel, Apakin Town, Lekki, was declared missing last month after she was said to have gone to Titilayo’s house.

    According to sources, Titilayo allegedly called Manni to come to his 29, Otulu Town, Lekki residence but never returned.

    Following her disappearance, a missing person report was made at the police and a search commenced with no trace of her until November 7 when her decomposing body was excavated by a Caterpillar at Adron Homes construction site in Otulu.

    In the course of the investigation, it was learnt that police found out Titilayo went to the deceased’s place of work to ask after her, a move being considered as a possible cover-up for the alleged crime.

    Confirming the suspect’s arrest Thursday, the Lagos State Police Command spokesman, Olumuyiwa Adejobi said an engineer, David Adegbago, of Adron Homes and Properties, reported to the Police Station at Akodo that while the company was excavating its site at Otolu Town, their Caterpillar exhumed a decomposing corpse.

    “The police detectives swung into action and the corpse was identified by the staff of the hotel to be Oritoke’s. The corpse was evacuated to a public morgue for autopsy.

    “The police placed a manhunt on the suspect and he was arrested. He is being detained at the SCID Panti and giving useful information to help the police investigation.

    “The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has condemned the crime and directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State CID, DCP Yetunde Longe to carry out a thorough investigation into the matter.

    “CP Hakeem Odumosu cautions the youths, especially ladies, against keeping unscrupulous and destructive friends. He also encourages Lagosians to promote moral values and shun crimes and criminality.”

    The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a 23-year-old woman, Iyabo Julius, for allegedly conniving with her lover, Adedayo Sunday, to rob and kill a motorcyclist, Suleuman Azeez.

    The incident was said to have happened in the 12/12 area of Ore in the Odigbo Local Government Area of the state.

    The police also arrested one Jeremiah Monday over the crime.

    Parading the suspects at the police headquarters, Alagbaka Akure, the state Commissioner of Police, Mr Bolaji Salami, said the deceased was Iyabo’s former boyfriend and she asked the new lover to kill him to make it easy for them to get married.

    The police boss said, “One Suleiman Azeez, 25, a commercial motorcyclist, left home for his daily bread with his Bajaj motorcycle but did not return home. His body was later found in a pool of blood around the 12/12 area Odigbo via Ore.

    “The case was subsequently transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Akure. Upon discreet investigation, detectives trailed the suspects, one Adedayo Sunday, 25, and Jeremiah Monday, 20, both of Odigbo via Ore, who were arrested where they had gone to sell the stolen motorcycle.

    “On interrogation they confessed to the crime and said the former girlfriend of the deceased, one Iyabo Julius, 23, who is now Adebayo’s lover, asked them to rob her former boyfriend of his motorcycle and equally kill him so that she and her new lover could get married.”

    The commissioner explained that based on the confession of the suspect, detectives arrested Iyabo.

    The police boss also paraded 20 other suspects for allegedly being involved in crimes such as robbery, cultism and kidnapping, while some weapons were recovered from them.

    The items recovered from the suspects include a Toyota Corolla car, one TVS motorcycle and the sum of N231,000.

    Salami said all the suspects would soon be charged.

    An officer of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, Emmanuel Mekuri, 47, has reportedly stabbed himself dead after stabbing his lover at Morogbo area of the state.

    Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Bala Elkana said on Sunday, that at about 1.00am, Morogbo Police Station received a distress call from Zoo area, Araromi that one Emmanuel Mekuri, 47, a LASTMA personnel stabbed his lover, Patricia Ogunshola, 37, on her right thigh, with a Jack knife.

    “Alarm was raised by the 13 years old daughter of the woman (whom she got from a previous marriage), which drew the attention of neighbours to the scene. In her statement, the girl stated that the deceased person, whom she referred to as her step father, made further attempts to stab her mother on the head but she quickly ran out of the room.

    “That he subsequently stabbed himself on the stomach, his intestines gushed out and he died on the spot. On arrival at the scene, homicide detectives preserved the crime scene and rushed the injured woman to the hospital for medical attention. She is currently in stable condition,” he said.

    Elkana, in a statement, said the corpse of the deceased person was evacuated to mortuary for autopsy.

    He said a blood-stained knife was recovered from the scene and that preliminary investigation revealed that the couple started cohabiting in February, 2020, but not legally married.

    “There was a protracted argument between the couple that degenerated into physical assault purported to have arisen from allegations bothering on infidelity on the part of the man.

    “The Commissioner of Police Lagos State Command, CP Hakeem Odumosu has ordered the immediate transfer of the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department Panti, Yaba for discreet investigation,” he said.

    Police in Osun State have detained a certain Maliki Ayo, following the demise of his girlfriend Faderera Oloyede, a student of Federal University of Oye-Ekiti.

     

    Oloyede died in his room on Tuesday in the Koko area of Iree community.

     

    Police spokeswoman Mrs Yemisi Opalola confirmed Ayo’s arrest yesterday, saying that investigation was ongoing.
