The 21-year-old, per Relevo, is now looking for a property in the area for himself, his partner, and his recently born son.

He is reportedly searching for a family home in the upmarket Boadilla del Monte district in the city of Madrid.

Many high earners choose the neighborhood because of its amenities and the standard of living.

The area is also extremely secluded, which would give Greenwood the privacy he is likely to be seeking.

Former Wales star Gareth Bale has outlined his reasons for rejecting Manchester United.

The 34-year-old, who retired from the sport earlier than many fans anticipated, won five Champions League titles with Real Madrid.

However, his career may have turned out differently if he had joined United when Sir Alex Ferguson was still manager.

Of the time he rejected United when at Southampton in 2007, Bale said, per The Sun: “I rejected Manchester United and went to Tottenham.

“At that time, United were the biggest team in the league, they were winning trophies, they had the biggest players, the best manager,

“The easiest decision would be to go to Man United and the biggest club.

“You always want to be at the biggest clubs but I took the approach that I wanted to be playing first-team football.”

    Andre Onana explains Cameroon U-turn

Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has explained his decision to end his international retirement.

Having quit Cameroon at the World Cup last season, Onana is back in the squad this week.

Onana stated this morning: “In the world of football, as well as in life, there are decisive moments, which require crucial choices. In recent months I have had to face trials marked by injustice and manipulation. However, my unwavering love and attachment to my homeland, Cameroon, remains intact. My desire to represent my country has never wavered since my youth, and this aspiration remains an inseparable part of my identity.

“Nothing and no one can shake this conviction. I respond to my nation’s call with unwavering certainty, knowing that my return is not only aimed at honoring my dream, but also at meeting the expectations and support of Cameroonians, who deserve a national team determined to shine.

“In the face of manipulation, lies and abuse of power, I choose to remain true to my ideal, proudly representing a country that deserves our sincere commitment. This is the time to unite, to work in harmony for our common good: Cameroon. I would like to pay tribute to the government that is working tirelessly to build a better Cameroon for all.

Time, the infallible judge of all things, will eventually enlighten us and reveal the correctness of our actions. My commitment to Cameroon remains unwavering and I am determined to do my part to see it prosper. See you on September 12 in Garoua for the qualification for the next African Cup of Nations football.”

Why Man Utd signed Amrabat – Ten Hag

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has welcomed new signing Sofyan Amrabat.

The former Fiorentina midfielder’s move wasn’t closed before he could be registered in time for Sunday’s defeat at Arsenal.

After the 3-1 reverse, Ten Hag said: “It was already, from the start of the season, one of my wishes to get another [number] six, a holding midfielder, in the squad because through the season you need that depth there.

“In that position we only had Casemiro who can play really well there. With others we have to make compromises but, with Sofyan Amrabat, we have another one.

“Also he can play alongside Casemiro because he can also play a little bit higher on the pitch. So it’s very good to have him and I think he fits very good to Premier League football, to Champions League football. I think the demands are strong.

“He is very dynamic, he’s very good in the duels. So we are pleased that we have him at United and I think he will contribute to our high targets we set.”

  • I’ve been a scapegoat for long time at Man Utd – Sancho

I’ve been a scapegoat for long time at Man Utd – Sancho

Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho said he had been unfairly made a “scapegoat” at the club

This was after his manager Erik ten Hag claimed he had been left out of the squad to face Arsenal on Sunday because of poor training performance.

Sancho was a surprise omission for United’s dramatic 3-1 stoppage-time Premier League loss to Arsenal that dropped them to 11th in the table.

“On his performance on training we didn’t select him,” Ten Hag said, when asked about Sancho’s absence from the travelling squad.

“You have to reach the level every day at Manchester United. You can make choices in the front line, so in this game he wasn’t selected.”

The 23-year-old Sancho wasted little time in responding in a lengthy post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

“Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue.

“I have conducted myself in training very well this week,” Sancho wrote.

“I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into.

“I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time, which isn’t fair. All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team.”

Sancho, who has played 58 league games since joining United in 2021, said he respects all decisions made by the coaching staff.

“I play with fantastic players and grateful to do so,” he said. “Which I know every week is a challenge.

“I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!”
