  • EPL: Evra reveals two Arsenal players Manchester united should watch out for

EPL: Evra reveals two Arsenal players Manchester united should watch out for

France and former Manchester United left-back, Patrice Evra, has warned the Manchester United players to be wary of the threats of two Arsenal players who play on the flanks, saying they can wreak havoc on any defense.

Arsenal will play host to Manchester United at the Emirate stadium on Sunday on match day 20.

Arsenal are five points clear of Manchester City in second place and boasts the same lead over United in third.

However,  Evra believes they will need to find an answer to Benjamin White’s and Bukayo Saka’s attacking partnership.

“The White and Saka combination is unbelievable.

“Saka makes all those runs inside and I hope that United’s left back, [Tyrell] Malacia is aware of that because I used to do that job and those inside runs are really dangerous,” Evra told BetFair.

  • EPL: Why Manchester United drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace – Neville

EPL: Why Manchester United drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace – Neville

Manchester United were already coasting home to victory when they conceded a last minute freekick which Michael Olise converted to equalize for Crystal Palace in the thrilling English Premier League encounter on Wednesday at Old Trafford.

Former Manchester United legend, Gary Neville has identified the factor responsible for Palace’s equalizer in the game.

According to Neville, Red Devils’ decision only to have three men in the wall when Michael Olise stepped up to take his free-kick in stoppage time was another factor responsible for the draw.

According to Neville, Man United’s wall was nowhere near ‘big enough’ to stop Olise’s stunning injury-time free-kick.

The former England international added in a follow-up tweet: “Put the taker off! A massive wall with big players in makes it more difficult for the taker! That wall lacked presence and made it look inviting!”

Recall that goals from Bruno Fernandes and Olise ensured both teams got a point each at Selhurst Park.

EPL: Manchester United defeat Man City 2-1,throws title race open

Manchester United came back from a goal down to defeat neighbour Manchester City 2-1 in a thrilling encounter at Old Trafford.

It was an amazing comeback from the Red devils as they dished out a very better performance as against their last meeting at the Etihad.

In the 60th minute De Bruyne is slipped into the United box down the right, a cute pass from Mahrez. He stands one up into the middle for Grealish, who rises at the far post and plants a header into the top left from six yards. Easy as that! Fine goal. United picked apart forensically.

However, in the 78th minute, Casemiro rolls a pass down the inside-right channel to release Rashford, who is well offside. Rashford runs alongside the ball, but doesn’t touch it. Fernandes, coming behind him, gives him a shout. Rashford leaves it. Fernandes opens his body and whips across Ederson and into the right-hand side of the net. What a finish!

The 82nd minute of the encounter provided another goal, in what looked like a twist of fate, Garnacho twists and turns down the left. It looks as though there’s nothing on, but Garnacho keeps probing. One last drop of the shoulder creates a little bit of space away from Ake, and he fires a low cross into the centre. Rashford is the most alive, and he sticks out a leg to poke under Ederson from six yards!

There’ll be some controversy over United’s equaliser, no doubt, but what a response by Erik ten Hag’s side! They’re in the title race now all right. A great result for Arsenal, too

The result has now thrown the title race open with just one point seperating Manchester City on 39 points and Manchester United on 38 after 18 games each.

EPL: Patrice Evra predicts Manchester, London derbies

Former France and Manchester United left-back, Patrice Evra, has predicted some of the Premier League matches slated to hold this weekend.

Manchester City will visit neighbours Manchester united at Old Trafford

City go into the game five points behind leaders Arsenal, while United are on a four-match winning run.

“It can’t be like the last match, they have to learn from that. Prediction 2-1,” Evra told BetFair.

The Gunners will be looking to extend their lead when they take on arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Mikel Arteta’s men won the reverse fixture 3-1 at the Emirates.

“I believe Arsenal can win the title, when I see their fans, they are all scared and don’t want me to say it, but the way they are playing, there’s isn’t another team that’s playing better football and being dominant right now.

“They aren’t afraid and they aren’t kids anymore. Prediction 1-3,” Evra said.
