    Yul Edochie has reminded his first wife, May of her imperfections as the Nollywood actor continues to struggle with polygamy in his home.

    Yul has resigned to his fate on polygamy and said it is his destiny while stressing that the Holy Bible is never against it.

    Sharing a stunning photo of May on Instagram on Wednesday, Yul further stressed that it was never his intention to be polygamous.

    “I didn’t do it to disrespect you. I didn’t do it to replace you nor because I do not love you anymore, no,” Yul wrote.

    He also disclosed that May knows the whole story about how Judy, his second wife came into the picture.

    Yule wrote: “To my dear wife,  Queen May Yul-Edochie, I acknowledge that I hurt you deeply and I’ve apologized to you countless times.  I take the blame for my actions.

    “I agree with you that polygamy shouldn’t be forced on anyone. You never bargained for it from the beginning neither did I. But I guess life happens. You already know the whole story.

    “I didn’t do it to disrespect you, I didn’t do it to replace you nor because I do not love you anymore, no. I have always loved you and always will. I’ve been a good husband and a wonderful father.

    “I’ve supported all your hustle from day one, I have been an exceptional father to our children till date making sure they lack nothing and always there for everyone.

    “Out of 100 I have done 99 things right, hating me because of one thing isn’t the best. Nobody is perfect. I’m not. You’re not. Nobody is, except God.

    “I assure you that nobody is trying to take your place. I have apologized to you countless times sincerely from my heart. I’m sorry. I’ve always loved you and always will.

    Cybersurfers shade Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie over first wife’s video revealing ‘skin’ at poolside

    Cybersurfers have shaded popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, following a video of his first wife, May, revealing ‘skin’ at poolside while having fun with a friend.

    The mother of four took to her Facebook page to share the video which captured the moment she and her friend, sat in a pool as they flaunted their flawless skin.

    Reacting, Cybersurfers, who were a bit surprised to see May put out such content online, blamed her husband.

    According to them, May would not have done such if her marriage with Yul had not turned a bit sour.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that May had vowed never to accept polygamy.

    Yul Edochie had on April 27, 2022, presented his second wife, Judy Austin Muoghalu, to the public.

    The actor had described Judy as his second wife while also showing off his son by her.

    May, in a statement on social media said her ability to accept the situation and tolerate challenges and problems should not be misconstrued.

    According to her, it was worthless trying to make an already bad situation worse hence the need to remain calm.

    “Beyond all the unnecessary facades, Polygamy is a life choice and no one should be compelled to accept it,” she said.

    “It is something I think all parties involved should embrace willingly, and it’s okay for anyone who chooses it. Some religions and traditions allow polygamy and I have nothing against it.

    “However, I am ABSOLUTELY certain that I will not be NUMBERED as a wife or be cajoled to accept a practice that does not align with my faith and family values.”

    May pointed out that until the second wife saga she had a stable and loving home.

    As the nation marks its 62nd year of Nigeria’s proclamation of independence from British rule on 1 October 1960, Nigerian entertainment celebrities, May Edochie, Toke Makinwa, Cee-C and others have celebrated Independence day in style.

    Famous entertainers, the likes of Angel Smith, Funke Kuti, Peace Anyiam-Osigwe dis not miss out on the 62nd Independence celebration.

    TheNewsGuru.com reports that Independence Day is an official national holiday in Nigeria, celebrated on the 1st of October.

    It marks Nigeria’s proclamation of independence from British rule on 1 October 1960.

    Recall that in 1914, the Southern Nigeria Protectorate was combined with the Northern Nigeria Protectorate to create the Colony and Protectorate of Nigeria, which has the borders of modern-day Nigeria.

    By the late 1950s, the call for independence of territories in Africa and the decline of the British Empire led to the country being granted independence on 1 October 1960 as the Federation of Nigeria.

    Three years later, the constitution was amended and the country was declared the Federal Republic of Nigeria with Nnamdi Azikiwe, previously Governor-General, as the first President.

    In 1960, Lieutenant David Ejoor, who later became the Chief of Army Staff, had the honor of commanding the guard at the midnight flag raising ceremony.

    The Independence Day holiday is celebrated annually by the government of Nigeria.

    The festivities begin with the President’s address to the people, which is broadcast on radio and television.

    There are also celebrations across all sectors in Nigeria, including the Nigerian Armed Forces, the Nigeria Police Force, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the workforce and national education services.

    For instance, the primary and secondary schools perform a ceremonial marchpast in various state capitals and local government areas where they are located.

    The streets are filled with celebrations as individuals and groups troupe to the streets wearing green-white-green. Offices and certain markets are closed in Nigeria on 1 October.

    The first wife to Yul Edoochie. May Edochie has revealed how depressed she was after her husband publicly took a second wife.

    Recall that Edochie caused controversy online after he embraced polygamy, announcing the birth of his son with his second wife.

    Speaking on Facebook live, May disclosed that her decision to dwell on pieces of her once happy marriage and support from family and friends saved her from being depressed.

    She said: “I saw some comments saying I’m using my situation to cash out but I don’t wish this upon my enemies if at all I have any.

    “My wife May just signed her first endorsement deal. Something that never happened all these years. And this came from what many saw as a disappointment. Many more deals will still come to her cos she’s a wonderful person.

    “So is my wife Judy. She has also been elevated. Now widely known, her career is bigger, with a whole lot going for her as well.

    Yul submitted that no one has the rights to question the actions he takes in his family.

    “Focus on your own private life. Shame on you if you make my problem your problem. We all have our own problems so focus on them. I can wake up one morning and decide to marry 100 wives and I owe no one an explanation,” he said.

    Recall that the actor had hinted some days ago that he would speak up amid heated backlash against him.

    Though many thought Yul would make some revelations on why he took a second wife when next he speaks, the actor on Saturday spoke against expectations.

    Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has said his relationship with May Edochie (first wife) has got to a point where he has to speak up.

     

    The actor gave the hint via his Instagram channel on Wednesday shortly after his first wife, May Edochie declared her stance against his decision to abandon her for a second wife.

     

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Yul allegedly planned to label a post about 2nd wife and their child as a prank.

     

    May, who had in a post on Tuesday stated that her family and her faith do not support polygamy, publicly frowned at her husband’s gesture.

     

    Consequently, following backlash against Yul who has been heavily criticized by Nigerians for treating May badly, the actor on Instagram submitted that it has gotten to a point where he has to speak up.

    The actor had surprised many when he announced the birth of his fifth child, a baby boy who he had welcomed with his colleague and now wife, Judy Austin.

     

    To add to it, the actor revealed that he had gotten married to Judy without his wife’s consent and family support.

     

    Following the heartbreaking news, May Edochie had lashed out at her husband and his new wife and had unfollowed him on Instagram.

     

    A few hours ago, he shared a video of them vibing to one of Tiwa Savage’s songs.

     

    He captioned the video with, “Fun moment with my Angel. CEO Extraordinaire”.

    He described marrying Judy as the best decision he has ever made in his lifetime, stressing that he has always known that a day like this would come.

    The actor during the week set tongues wagging on social media after he unveiled the birth of his son by Judy to the world.

    He revealed that he didn’t seek his first wife’s permission to marry his new wife.

    The Nollywood actor opined that the woman who doesn’t respect you, will not respect you; and that the one who loves you and respects you, will be with you forever.

    On the backlashes trailing the development, the actor said everybody can’t see things the way you do.

    “A whole lot of people don’t know you but judge you from what they see,” he added.

    Yul and his first wife, May Edochie have been married for 16 years. Their union is blessed with four children, three boys and a daughter.

    However, Yul’s elder brother, Uche Edochie has said the family of Edochie as a whole was not in support of his decision.
