Mbaka tackles presidency over contract rejection saga

The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has reacted to the accusation by the Presidency that he fell out with President Muhammadu Buhari because of the refusal of the President to award contracts to three of his favoured contractors.

Mbaka reacted to the development on Sunday at the AMEN ground in Enugu.

This followed a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, which said Mbaka’s call last week for the resignation or impeachment of Buhari was because he was denied contracts.

Shehu said the Presidency did not release the video footage of the conversation the priest had with Buhari in order not to cause any uproar.

Mbaka, however, said on Sunday that the accusation was laughable.

He said no amount of government patronage was capable of influencing his utterances since he was speaking strictly under the leading of the Holy Spirit.

He said he was “happy that the truth was hitting them.

“We are not afraid of them.

“Buhari cannot do it again; health and age are not on his side.

“We need a stronger and an experienced goalkeeper in a time like this.

“If they want to put it that it was because of contract, let them come and build the highest university here and begin to mess up, I will still speak.

“I don’t want to talk about that because it’s a laughable and childish accusation.

“Whoever is saying that, is a shame to himself and shame to the people he is representing.

“Fr. Mbaka’s voice came from the spiritual.

“So what I’m saying is unchallengeable.

“With enormous joy, I am happy that the truth is hitting them hard.

“No amount of money can merchandise the Holy Ghost anointing in me.

    “Fr Mbaka is ‘unbribable’.

“Even if they come and build the highest university here, that cannot bribe me.”

Mbaka, however, admitted that he led three men to meet with the President during his first tenure, explaining that they were security experts who had offered to help in solving Nigeria’s security challenges.

He added: “I don’t know them, but they came to Enugu and pleaded for me to link them to government because of the level of insecurity and how Nigeria has been moving oil outside the country.

“These are the three people they rejected their offer.”

  • APC quotes Bible; threatens to report Father Mbaka to Pope, Vatican for asking Buhari to resign

APC quotes Bible; threatens to report Father Mbaka to Pope, Vatican for asking Buhari to resign

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has quoted some biblical passages to fault the spiritual director of Adoration Ministry, Rev Fr. Ejike Mbaka for asking President Muhammadu Buhari to either resign or be impeached.

TheNewsGuru.com, TNG reports that the popular Catholic Priest who was instrumental to President Buhari’s election in 2015 and 2019 in a viral video on Thursday asked the president to either resign or be impeached because of the current security challenges.

However, in a swift reaction, the APC’s Deputy National publicity secretary, Yekini Nabena in a statement argued that Mbaka’s call constitutes a threat to democratic rule in the country.

The statement said it was unfortunate that Mbaka who is expected to deploy all known spiritual means of ensuring peaceful coexistence among Nigerians went out of his ways to make such pronouncement in pursuit of his selfish desires.

While making reference to the book of Mark 4: 35-40 where Jesus Christ calm the storm when a wild storm came up and the waves crashed over the boat, Nabena said Jesus did not blame anyone but prayed and calm the storm.

He said: “One will wonder whom Father Mbaka is emulating because the Lord Jesus Christ did not threaten to bring down the government during his own time, in fact, Jesus Christ obeyed and honoured constituted authority. That’s why he paid his tax.

“We are calling on Father Mbaka to concentrate on his spiritual calling and stop speaking like politicians who it is obvious he (Mbaka) has been dining and wining with. If Mbaka has found another political ally, it is better to leave political message for politicians.

“Calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to either resign or be impeached because of the current challenges is ungodly. Father Mbaka should not, however, take his luck too far because there are lot to tell the Vatican and the Pope about his person and his sources of inspiration.”

Nabena also called on other clerics to emulate the likes of Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and Pastor WF Kumuyi of the Deeper Life Bible Ministry and many other men of God who will rather fast and pray to avert a crisis in the country instead of threatening the government of the day.

Stating that Mbaka’s utterances were capable of breaching the peace in the country, he threatened to drag Mbaka to the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church and the Pope if he (Mbaka) does not repent from his alleged divisive role in the country.

  • God asked me to withdraw support for Buhari, Uzodinma – Mbaka

God asked me to withdraw support for Buhari, Uzodinma – Mbaka

The Catholic Priest and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Fr Ejike Mbaka, has commended the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, for championing the cause of his people.

“Up till today, I don’t know who Nnamdi Kanu is. I have never seen him face to face. Look at my hand on the altar. But I want to tell you something. Wherever he is, may God bless him. Because if somebody has risen to shout that his brothers are suffering, is it a crime? May the lord bless his courage,” Mbaka said in a recent sermon at his church.

Mbaka also averred that God had asked him to withdraw his support for the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, and to prophesy against them.

The outspoken priest had caused controversy last year when he forecasted that then Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha, would be removed by the Supreme Court and Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress would be made governor.

Mbaka had also prophesied that Buhari would become the President and continued to support him at various times.

The priest said the government had failed to protect lives in the country, describing the situation as devastating.

“Can our security agents and leaders account for us how many children, how many Nigerians have died in one week, under one month? Students being kidnapped from the universities and there is leadership? No. Either they are involved in it or they should stop it or what is happening will stop them.

“So, Buhari and Hope and those who want to fight, remember there was a time God said I should support you people but now God has asked me to withdraw and prophesy against you,” Mbaka said.

  • Uzodinma organizing the killing of Imolites – Mbaka

Uzodinma organizing the killing of Imolites – Mbaka

Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka, has accused Gov. Hope Uzodinma of Imo State of organizing the killing of Imo State residents.

Mbaka said although he does not support terrorism, he stands against killing and labelling innocent youths of the country as ‘terrorists’.

The cleric opined that the recent jailbreak in Imo State could be God’s way of releasing his people from prison.

He also wondered why the killing of Ikonso Don, a top commander of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) was being celebrated.

He further warned the leaders to kill poverty, unemployment and insecurity, because God is angry with them, adding that those advising Uzodinma have killed him while he is still alive.

In his words, “I can never support terrorism, neither will I allow you to brand our children terrorists when they are not. If some people broke the prison in Owerri, if you caught them, arrest, interrogate them, it may be possible that no human being broke into that prison, it may be jailbreak from God.

“It happened in Acts of Apostle chapters 5. There was no jailbreak and nobody was arrested. God can set the prisoners free.

“For people to go around and kill our young men without trying them is evil. I’m just warning our Governors. Nigerians are dying like rats and nobody cares; God is angry with leaders, from Buhari to the last. You have failed God.

“Hope Uzodinma who came here and put his hand on this altar and swore he will protect the lives of Imolites is now organizing the killing of Imolites and he wants me to keep quiet?

“I was keeping quiet until the blood of my brother was shed. Never! Whoever will support that will suffer. How Is it difficult for the military, police and DSS to arrest one person? What if the person you killed is innocent of what he is accused of?

“You killed Ikonso and you are parading his body as if you have done anything. Go and kill poverty, unemployment, insecurity, you know how to kill, wicked people. God’s anger is on. No prophet will be spared if you keep quiet about what is happening in the country. If the leaders do not stop what is going on, it will stop them.”

The cleric urged Nigerians to stop misquoting him because he is just a messenger of God and maintained that Buhari does not call him and he does not call Buhari.

He said, “They said I was the one that prayed for Hope Uzodinma. Hope Uzodinma was like a vision that came to me, how am I involved in it? The message from God just passed through me, I don’t know his political story.

“Till today someone (Uzodinma) who became Governor has not come to give thanks to God here. I know If he is receiving advice from this sanctuary he will not be messing up. Those advising Uzodinma have killed him while he is still alive.”

He also prayed that God will bless IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

He said it is not wrong for someone to have the courage to say his people are being maltreated.

“I want you to know that up till today, I don’t know who is Nnamdi Kanu, I have never seen him face to face but wherever he is may God bless him. It is not a bad thing if someone has risen up to shout that his brothers are suffering, May the Lord bless his courage.

“What is happening in this country is heartbreaking, tears shedding, nerve-racking and mind-blowing. Can our security agent and leaders account for us, how many people have died under one week or month? Students being kidnapped from the university and there is a leadership.

“It is either they are involved in it or they should stop or what is happening will stop them.

“Buhari, Hope and those who want to fight me, remember there was a time God told me to support you, people, now God has told me to withdraw and prophesy against you,” he added.

  • TRENDING VIDEO: Popular Catholic Priest, Father Mbaka dumps Buhari, says president should resign or be impeached

TRENDING VIDEO: Popular Catholic Priest, Father Mbaka dumps Buhari, says president should resign or be impeached

Catholic Priest and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Fr Ejike Mbaka has said President Muhammadu Buhari must resign now or be impeached.

TheNewsGuru.com, TNG reports that Mbaka who was instrumental to the president’s emergence in 2015 and 2019 made the calls on the heels of the recent security challenges in the country.

Mbaka said Buhari has failed Nigeria woefully and that he should resign now.

Speaking at the Adoration Ministry in Enugu, he wondered how Buhari will maintain grave silence despite the incessant killings in the country.

Mbaka explained that Nigerians are crying because they don’t have a Sheperd and Buhari should resign or be impeached.

He also warned those who will attack him to desist, if not, they will face God’s wrath.

“Let me tell you; if it is in a civilized country, by now, President Buhari would have resigned with what is happening.”

“Nigerians are crying because there’s no security in the country, the House of Representatives should impeach the president if he doesn’t want to resign.”

Mbaka warned the lawmakers that should they fail to impeach the president and begin to attack him, something worse than what they can never imagine ”will happen to the members of the Senate and House of Representatives.”

He emphasized that the nation cannot continue like this and prayed to God to change its leaders.

Mbaka also frowned at the activities of herdsmen that destroy the farmland of people without any repercussion.

He warned church leaders and Nigerians not to come after him because he supported Buhari earlier.

”A good coach cannot watch his players to be defeated when he has players sitting down on the bench. It is either Buhari resigns by himself or he will be impeached.

”This statement is too mysterious and supernatural, I know many people will begin to fight it, saying did you not pray for Buhari? Did Samuel not anoint Saul? Am I the creator of Buhari? God created him, Nigerians supported him because he did well sometime. But now, how can people be dying and the chief security officer of the country will be sitting down without making any comment? Gunmen attacking people everywhere.”

“I pray that the church leadership will understand me as a messenger of God and not begin to attack me because the danger is going to affect the church.

“When gunmen begin to strike inside the church, they will begin to kill one man of God or the other or even members of the church. Who will go to church again? The priests will lose their job, the Bishops will lose their jobs. So you better keep quiet or support what I’m saying,” Mbaka added.

  • 2021 Prophecies: Youths may end Buhari-led govt if he fails to yield their demands – Mbaka

A Catholic priest and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministries, Enugu, Nigeria (AMEN), Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka, has prophesied the end of President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime.

This he said depends on Buhari’s ability to act fast and save his government from looming extinction.

Mbaka spoke at the 2020 edition of his popular annual December 31 Crossover Night ministration, advising the federal government to take swift moves to create jobs to prevent Nigerian youths from embarking on restiveness that may consume the regime.

The event, which held at the AMEN Arena, Enugu, was tagged, “Cornucopia of New Miracles from God”.

The fiery priest also took a swipe at the country’s lawmakers, especially members of the National Assembly (NASS).

Describing the lawmakers as “kidnappers”, he maintained that unless the Buhari administration hastened move to genuinely start taking care of the youths, that they (youths) “will rise and end the current political system”.

While noting that Nigerians were going through horrible conditions, Mbaka also cautioned state governors, ministers and all political office holders, stressing that they have alone the choice of repenting and start “doing the needful” otherwise, what awaited them would be unbearable.

    His words:

“The Holy Spirit of God asked me to warn the government of the day to be very careful; to change policies and take care of the youths without politicising their (youths’) condition.

“That the government should rise and urgently create jobs and innovate opportunities that would benefit the youths of the nation because they have suffered so much.

“Don’t politicise the condition of the youths, otherwise, they will arise and end the political system.

“Should the government fail to do so as soon as possible that time is coming when the youths will rise against the government, and that any attempt to stop them will end the government?”

Mbaka, who did not specify when the lurking youth agitation would take place, however, dropped another puzzling pronouncement.

He said: “I can see a year ahead; it is not specific whether it is in 2021 that this will happen, but it is within a time in the time of life, that the anger of God will befall many people in the political circle because they have looted so much and disgraced this nation enough.

“Those who should be serving the country have looted the country dry for their personal aggrandisement, such that our children and grandchildren no longer have a future”.

He pointed out that politicians had for long busied themselves in “packing and packing the nation’s commonwealth, refusing to create wealth, but that they now turned around to tag the youths kidnappers, criminals, hoodlums and so on.

He also declared that God was angry with past and present leaders for turning Nigerian youths into beggars in other countries due to overwhelming hardship in the nation, and urged them to find a way to right their wrongs.

“They should obey the voice of God, sit together and think out how to reshape Nigeria.

“The situation in the country portends wickedness, wicked ruling in high places, in the name of legislators; they are the real kidnappers, and the anger of God is upon them.

“I know they would want to attack this message, as usual, but I warn, let nobody, whether you are a politician or a man of God, attacks this message so you do not become a victim!

“Whoever that would conspire against this message or partake in any gang-up against me or this ministry, your evil plans will turn back and befall you.

“Be warned, this is no longer the Fr Mbaka of 2020 but that of 2021,” he said, adding that, “it will be fire for fire this year; if you attack us, you will be attacked.”

“They have kidnapped the opportunities meant for the youths, kidnapped the nation’s wealth and jobs meant for the youths.

“They have kidnapped a lot of infrastructure development,” he added.

  • Hooligans, criminals feeding Buhari daily with ‘NAFDAC approved lies’ – Father Mbaka

Hooligans, criminals feeding Buhari daily with ‘NAFDAC approved lies’ – Father Mbaka

The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu State Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has said President Muhammadu Buhari encircled himself with hooligans and criminals feeding him daily with ‘lies with NAFDAC number’.

Mbaka who was a visible supporter of the president in the build up to the 2015 polls said he expected Buhari to effect the much needed change Nigerians yearned.

Mbaka also accused security men in Enugu State of killing and dumping several bodies of some #EndSARS protesters into the Onyeama valleys.

The controversial Catholic priest, who disclosed this during his Sunday ministration, asked Buhari to apologise to the country, especially the youth, on behalf of himself and his predecessors, who had also caused Nigerians so much pain.

Mbaka, while delivering a message titled, ‘Impure Heart’, at the 2020 All Saints Day Holy Mass, stated that pure heart begets pure spirit while impure heart begets evil spirit.

He alleged that many youths were being detained in various correctional centres across the state and the country, declaring that it was rather the Nigerian leaders that should be in those correctional centres.

Mbaka warned that the detention and extrajudicial killing of pro-Biafra agitators should cease forthwith, saying, “They should not touch any of those Biafra boys o!”

Clarifying that his message was not targeted at any particular government or individual but bad governance in general, Mbaka added, “This is not about #EndSARS or IPOB. Nobody is fighting any government; we are fighting bad governance.

“Few days ago, at Miliken Hill, after New Market, (in Enugu), people discovered corpses of those that were shot and killed during the recent protest. They dumped people’s corpses there while families of those young men and women continued searching for them.

“That is why I am telling you that Nigeria can never be the same again. Did you expect these young men to keep watching the country being swindled and looted dry by the so-called leaders?”

He said, “Buhari, who could have been a solution to this, succeeded in encircling himself with criminals and hooligans. People, who do not just tell him lies but rather, they magnify lies; lies with NAFDAC number – and feed him.”

  • I spend over $2m on charity monthly – Father Mbaka

Founder and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, said he spends over $2 million monthly on his philanthropic activities.

He spoke shortly after presenting N18.8 million to the management of Annunciation Specialist Hospital, Emene, Enugu, on behalf of Multi-Life Savers for the Less Privileged, a non-governmental arm of his ministry.

He gave out N10 million to 200 select members of the Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria for empowerment coupled with a bag of rice each.

According to Mbaka, the N18.8 million was to cover accumulated free medical services that the hospital had rendered to indigent people on his bill, amounting to over N14 million.

He stated the balance covers a deposit for other indigent patients that would require the services of the Catholic health facility in future.

According to him, the hospital is one of several health facilities where his foundation usually referred indigent patients to receive free qualitative medical care, to save them from dying unduly.

He said: “We are basically here to continue the relationship that this wonderful health facility has with our charity organisation and Adoration Ministry, Enugu.

“We presented a bank draft worth N18.8 million to them to cover the accumulated bills of indigent patients they had treated at our instance, plus a deposit for other indigent patients that would come here in future.

“We do this every day and it is on record that there is no month that I don’t spend at least $2 million silently, on charity.

“So, this visit is just one out of several charity outings that we undertake without any publicity.

“I represent the ministry here, as the chief servant. What we are doing is physical but I am also here, on behalf of the supernatural part of the exercise.

“This programme is purely inter-religious, inter-tribal and interdenominational. Among the beneficiaries are Catholics, Pentecostals, and Muslims, among others.”

  • I didn’t prophesy on Bayelsa gov – Fr. Mbaka

The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu Nigeria, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, on Monday, denied giving a prophecy on the newly sworn-in Governor of Bayelsa State, Diri Douye.

Mbaka, who spoke through his media aide, Ike Maximus Ugwuoke, said this in a statement in Enugu, on Monday.

The statement read in part, “Our attention has been drawn to a report in a section of the media that the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Fr. Mbaka has prophesied that the newly sworn-in Governor of Bayelsa State, Diri Douye, will stay in office as governor for only two months.

“The report alleged that he predicted this in ‘Delta State at a ceremony to celebrate his friend and colleague who clocked 68 years.’

“For the sake of justice and fairness, we challenge the originators of this false and mendacious report to mention the name of the so-called Fr. Mbaka’s friend and colleague whose ceremony he attended in Delta State.

  • Mbaka boasts after Ihedioha’s sack, talks about 39 other prophecies

The Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, says there are 39 more prophecies of his that will come to pass in 2020.

Mbaka said this in a statement while reacting to the removal of the Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha, by the Supreme Court and the inauguration of Senator Hope Uzodinma as governor.

The Supreme Court had on Tuesday nullified the election of Ihedioha as the governor of Imo State and declared Uzodinma as the governor of the state.

In the statement by his spokesman, Maximus Ugwuoke, the Catholic priest stated that he gave 40 prophecies on New Year’s Eve but the only one that went viral was that of Uzodinma.

The statement read in part, “Uzodinma becoming the governor of Imo was just a part of the about 40 prophetic prayers Fr. Mbaka made on December 31. But that became the only issue people satanically picked against him.

“God has vindicated Fr. Mbaka as He has always done for Fr. Mbaka and adoration ministry in all the battles, vituperations and attacks the ministry had faced in the past. To God be the glory.”

He said the victory of Uzodinma was evidence that Mbaka was truly an anointed man of God.

The statement further stated that the fact that the Supreme Court’s seven justices unanimously agreed to the judgment showed that God was behind the prophecy.

It read further, “We are not all gifted alike, Fr. Mbaka’s prophetic gift should be a source of pride for the Catholic Church and indeed all true Christians as a living evidence of divine presence within the Church. As a lawyer, I tell you that there are double fold angles to this miracle.

“One is the miraculous resuscitation of Hope Uzodinma from the far away position he was placed in the election result announced by INEC in Imo State. The second is the unanimous confirmation of the seven Justices of the Supreme Court (without a dissent view) that Uzodinma was the rightful winner of the election.”

Recall that the fiery Catholic priest had prophesied that Uzodinma, the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate at the March 9, 2019, governorship election in Imo State, would become the governor of the state this year.

The cleric was quoted as saying, “I don’t know the manner the revelation will manifest but no prophecy has ever been declared on this prayer ground without coming to pass.

“In spite of all that would happen this 2020, there is hope. In Imo State, there is hope. Hope, hope, hope! Hope in Imo State. Imo people have suffered but God is raising a new hope that would be an agent of salvation for them.”
