  • 2020: APC’s Uzodimma will take over Imo State – Fr. Mbaka’s revelation

Charismatic Roman Catholic Priest and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Nigeria (Amen), Fr Ejike Mbaka, is at it again.

The Enugu cleric, who is known for his controversial prophecies, in his New Year message, said Senator Hope Uzodimma would be sworn in as governor of Imo State.

Mbaka had predicted President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory during the 2015 New Year Message, which he titled ‘From Goodluck to Badluck.’

Addressing thousands of members of his congregation, he said that the 2019 APC governorship candidate, Uzodinma, would dislodge the incumbent governor of the state, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He boasted that “no prophecy has ever been declared on this prayer ground without coming to pass”, while also advising those who may find the message unpalatable not to come after him.

He warned that such action would attract the wrath of the Holy Spirit upon such individuals.

He declared: “Many things are going to happen in Nigeria this 2020 that will shock countrymen and countrywomen; but all would be to God’s glory.

“In spite of all that would happen this 2020, there is hope. In Imo State, there is hope. Hope, hope, hope … hope in Imo State!

“Imo people have suffered (but) God is raising a new hope that would be an agent of salvation for them.

“He’s coming with a new flag to restore the dignity of that noble land. A new leadership that will break barriers and there would be joy in the land of Imo.

“Lift your candles as I bless Hope Uzodinma; and I empower him to, spiritually, to take over. How, I do not know.

“Please, if you heard that there would be a new government in Imo and you don’t like the message; if I say Hope, you can say hopeless but do not fight me.

“I am saying this in respect of those who may want to come after me because of the message. If you do that, the God of Moses, Elijah and Elisha will deal with you. I am only a messenger of God”.

  • Mbaka predicts hard times for Nigeria

Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry in Enugu, Nigeria (AMEN), Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has urged Nigerians to pray hard to overcome difficulty this year.

Mbaka, in his New Year’s message, said the type of difficulty the country would face is such that had not been witnessed in its history.

While praying for the country and its leaders, the fiery priest enjoined Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari to continue to fight corruption.

He said the Catholic Church supports the anti-graft war, and so created prayers against ‘bribery and corruption’.

The cleric praised Enugu State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuani, and solicited for his re-election.

He said: “A President that is fighting corruption should be supported. I will not greet everyone without praying for our governor and friend, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. We bless God for him. Enugu has never seen it like this. For the first time in the history of Enugu, the Black Axe and Vikings cult groups are not fighting, only a man like him can do it.

“In his time, Chief Nwodo and Ken Nnamani are friends; Fed Okoro and Nwodo are not fighting. While he is developing Nsukka, he is developing Awgu, Udi, Nkanu; his impact is everywhere.

“Enugu is in God’s hands and we have to hand the governor over to God because Enugu is in peace. There is no other state in this country that has this kind of peace. Generations will not forget you. Adoration Ministry will not forget you.

“For such person who is doing well, we will tell him to continue. I pray for God’s protection in his life. If it is endorsement you call it, it is your word.

“Those coming to contest know that Ugwuanyi is a good man, otherwise they should be imprisoned. I pray that Senator Ayogu Eze should go and rest, he should not contest for anything, he should not come to disorganise the state that has been rebuilt. As he is going to rest, let it be well with him in the name of Jesus Christ so that after the election, he will be given an appointment and he will go to Abuja.

“You will not understand what Governor Ugwuanyi has done, he is a silent performer. A humble and God-fearing, and kind-hearted man, and nobody will stop the good work he has started so that nobody would be killed because of election. He should complete the work he started. Is it the man who did not built a road when he was a senator that you want to be governor now?

“We pray for President Muhammadu Buhari; he is a man who understands the situation. Since Nigeria started, we have never experienced a President that has agricultural programmes like him. It’s like calling somebody thief in the media but you are not a thief.

“For 16 years, the road from Anambra to Enugu was overgrown with weeds but within four years, the road is being rebuilt. For remembering us, God will bless him. It shall be well with him. Four years doesn’t mean eight years; he has finished his four years and I pray for peaceful transition that he may complete his remaining four years.”

Catholic Bishop rubbishes Fr. Mbaka’s apology to Peter Obi

The Catholic Bishop of Enugu, Most Rev. Callistus Onaga has dismissed the recent apology by Fr. Ejike Mbaka after he embarrassed former Governor Peter Obi during a church bazaar sales.

Speaking during the weekend at a diaconate ordination mass celebrated at the Holy Ghost Cathedral, Enugu, the Bishop said the apology by Mbaka was no apology but apologetics that did not comply with what the Bishops directed him to do.

He said: “Before we met Mbaka, he had already apologized to Obi but when we listened to the apology, we realized it was no apology but apologetics, so we mandated him to do a written apology to Obi which he agreed to do and actually did it in our presence.

“He was remorseful and regretted his action. We believe he would do the needful by sending across the written apology.”

Onaga also condemned the deep involvement of clerics in partisan politics and mandated henceforth, in line with the directive of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, that priests of the Catholic Church must not make political prophecies or endorse any politician or political party.

Peter Obi saga: Catholic church distances self from Mbaka, says he might be disciplined

The Catholic Church has distanced itself from the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, over his perceived politically charged statements.

In a video that has since gone viral, Mbaka was seen telling the vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Peter Obi, during the annual harvest and bazaar celebration of the church on Sunday, that neither the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, nor President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, would win the 2019 presidential election.

Addressing Obi in Igbo, Mbaka said, “(Former) governor, listen, so that we won’t be deceiving God. As you are standing in the presence of these children of God, tell God what you will do for Him… It means you don’t want to do anything for God.

“Let me believe in fear, but this is a political statement. God hates stinginess. What I am saying is not for your pleasure. I am saying what will save your life, otherwise, you and Atiku will fail. The way you and Atiku are moving will end in shame.”

However, the Director of Communications, Catholic Diocese of Enugu, Rev. Fr. Benjamin Achi, in a report published in Punch, distanced Catholic church from the cleric’s remarks.

When asked if Mbaka was still a member of the diocese, Achi said, “He is.”

He, however, noted that it was wrong for priests to make political statements from the pulpit.

Achi said, “The diocese is not in support of any priest making political statements.

“The church is supposed to be apolitical and the Bishops’ conference has said that repeatedly.

“We are not supposed to make any political statements from the pulpit within the context of Mass, that is, church service.

“So, it would be wrong to stand at the pulpit to make any political statements.

“There is a document issued by the Bishops’ conference to that effect.

“So, he just spoke on his own, not representing the diocese.”

“We are not expected to come out openly to support a particular candidate for any reason. The church law does not accept such a thing. So, it would be wrong for anybody (priest) to come out and give an endorsement to a particular candidate.”

  • Father Mbaka accuses FG of maginalising Igbo

Father Mbaka accuses FG of maginalising Igbo

The Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has alleged high level of the Federal Government’s marginalisation of Ndigbo in the scheme of things in Nigeria.

The fiery priest said he is pained that in spite of his support for President Buhari, Igbo are so marginalised to the extent that he slept in Abuja for weeks to get a loan from the Bank of Agriculture to energise his farming vision in order to create jobs to teaming unemployed graduates.

Fr. Mbaka, who spoke yesterday at the Adoration ground, during the flag-off of a three-day farmers empowerment programme by Multi-Life Saver’s, a corporative society made of 18 clusters with 5,000 members and visiting officials of the Bank of Agriculture, described the government agricultural programme as ‘poor claim and fake’.

He said the cooperative has 470 hectares of farmland with Certificate of Occupancy, but could not get loan because he was not a northerner.

“Whenever I went to obtain loan from the Bank of Agriculture, they would tell me to get a commercial bank that will do this and do that. The commercial banks will asked me to brink the feathers of one snake and leg of snake. This went on for many years and we are ready to impact significance into our agriculture; the only barrier is funding and encouragements,” he said.

Mbaka begged the officials of the Bank of Agriculture to give his cooperative loans to help him create employment opportunities for the youths who have no jobs or either hope of getting a job

He said: “It’s a sad development; if a northern has this kind of vision they would come around him, but here, we are alone. We started it in Adani and there was no help; there was flood and we lost N830 million and I went down to Nkereife. We had the largest poultry farm in the east of the Niger. In one day we lost 939,000 births. With the type of courage God gave to me, nobody knew and nobody will know apart from the fact that I’m disclosing it now. No encouragement and they are longing for authentic farmers, and we are farmers.

“So, please, on behalf of the adoration members, we want them to monitor the funding and implementation. We don’t kill criminals here, we kill crime. If you go to Aqua Rapha investment Ltd, we have thousands of them working, yet, we don’t have governments’ support apart from Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, who remembered us and created a road to this place. People thought President Buhari is helping me, but he is not helping us with one kobo. So, those who could have been helping thought he was helping and now he has become a hindrance.

“If you go to the North, you would see how billions are spent there. If you go to my farm, there is a River that separates the land which makes it difficult for me to move equipment, and now, I’m doing the bridge by myself without help from anywhere, yet, I’m a priest.

“So, I’m representing the poor, that is why I’m attacking many governments because when they cannot help the poor who I represent, and when the pressure is too much on me, I attack them.

“Why can’t the federal government which claims to support agriculture not help the agriculturist? So, it is a poor and fake claim. Why can’t we have here a pilot farm that would be the eyes of this country? “We have in our aquaculture fishes one of the species which contains five billion fishes, but lack of good road to the farm led to the closure of that farm and the federal government is aware of this. So, for me, it is not just negligence, but wickedness and unhealthy marginalisation, because I’m not from the North. If a northerner had this kind of vision, from the Central Bank, order will be given. There are subsidies here and there to be granted, not even loan. They will have to seek grants, give the farm grants for whatever it takes. That is why the Igbo are crying. Some of us have been friends with the president, but when you seat down and think deeper, you see his nepotism,” he lamented.

  • 2019:Fr. Mbaka reveals what will happen to Buhari, Senators, Reps

The Spiritual Director, Adoration Ministry, Enugu Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has warned President Muhammadu Buhari and members of the Federal Legislature of impending doom.

The fiery cleric gave the warning during his sermon at the Adoration Ground, Enugu State yesterday.

Mbaka advised President Buhari to travel to Rome where he would ask God’s forgiveness for the blood of men of God and innocent men, women and children killed under his watch.

He said there will be disaster if leaders in the country, low and high, failed to ask God for forgiveness.

According to him, “From the councilor to the Igwe and everyone in the rank of leadership. To the people who called themselves Senators, who are busy messing up the country in the name of lawmaking and those who are hovering in the House of Representatives, who are they representing actually? They are representing the disaster that is coming.

“All of them should go the Bishops of this country and kneel down; lie down. President Buhari, if you don’t do this, you’ll know that a man of God has spoken

Apologise to the mother church. (Buhari should) take them (other leaders in the country) to the nunciature, the Popes representatives are there, if you (Buhari) can’t take them to Rome, and apologize for the blood of the holy men and women that were shed under your (Buhari) government.

“God can prophesy someone into a position. If you know how Nebucadnezzar became the President. He went there under prophetic order. When God wants to punish His people, He can use a leader. The Nebucadnezzar God later pushed into the bush.”

  • 2019: God has not revealed anything about Atiku – Mbaka

The Spiritual Director, cSpeaking on Saturday, the fiery priest ‎said the originators of the report were out to cause mischief.

While expressing shock over the comments attributed to him, Mbaka said “I read the report about my support for Atiku with bitterness in my heart as I can see how wicked and evil some people could be.

“Those who are impersonating my names wickedly and politically must be careful. People must fear God and respect His anointed. Whoever is trying to use my name to support or promote Atiku’s political exploits is attracting God’s wrath to himself or herself.

“For now, I have never spoken neither for nor against Atiku. God has shown me nothing about him. Neither in the public nor in the secret have I said what the reporter claimed. When? Where? With whom? and under what platform did the mendacious and wicked reporter hear or see me talk about Atiku?”

Mbaka said if those behind the report failed to do the needful, “I will take action against such vulturous and satanic character assassins who have been working hard to destroy my reputation or make me a false prophet.

“I am busy with the work of God and I am now in a deeper contemplative encounter with the Awesome God.

“My concerns now are the healings, deliverances, blessings, breakthroughs etc of my people. I don’t talk carelessly. I speak when God has given me a word. For now, God has not revealed anything about Atiku Abubakar”.

Similarly, Ike Maximus Ugwuoke,Media and Legal Adviser, Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria, added that “Fr Mbaka has been committed to the on-going 2017 crusade of Awesome Miracles from the Awesome God in the ministry which started last Wednesday where Adoration worshipers have been giving awesome testimonies.

“He has not been seen or heard in any other public or private forum where he could have made such declarations as claimed by the reporter.
