Michael Jackson predicted coronavirus-like pandemic – Ex-bodyguard declares

Matt Fiddes, a former bodyguard of Michael Jackson, late ‘King of Pop’, says the singer always wore a face-mask to public places because of his fears of a coronavirus-like pandemic.

In a chat with UK Sun, Fiddes claimed that the pop star, during one of his world tours, had realized that there was possibility for a virus like COVID-19 to spread across the globe.

This, according to him, was what incited Jackson to always wear a facemask despite the ridicule that came with it.

“He knew that a natural disaster was always there. He was very aware and would always predict that we could be wiped out at any time. That a germ that could spread,” he said.

“So he would go through four countries in one day sometimes and he was on airplanes with people all the time.”

Fiddes, the Britain bodyguard who looked after the singer for a decade, said he’d jokingly ask Jackson not to wear the facemask but the singer would always get irritated that “people didn’t take him seriously.”

“He would say, ‘Matt I can’t get ill, I can’t let my fans down. I’ve got concerts coming up. I’m on this earth for a reason. I mustn’t damage my voice,” he added.

“‘I’ve got to stay healthy, Matt. I don’t know who I’m going to encounter today, I don’t know what I might pass on’.”

Asked what Jackson would say about COVID-19 outbreak if he was alive, Fiddes said: “I know exactly what he would say to people now and that’s it. I told you so.

“Then he’d be moaning that no one is listening to him because when he used to say stuff like that people didn’t take him seriously, they used to call him ‘Wacko Jacko’ and all this stuff.

“But you don’t get to be the biggest superstar in the world and not be intelligent.

“That guy was super damn intelligent. But I knew him.”

Jackson is believed to have died of acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication in 2009 at his Los Angeles home.

TheNewsGuru recalls that in 2019, the Los Angeles detectives, who probed his case, had claimed that the late singer’s death was more than a case of drug overdose.

Jackson fans sing, sob, leave sunflowers and roses on 10th anniversary of death

With roses crafted into heart shapes and crowns made of bright yellow sunflowers, Michael Jackson fans from as far afield as Iran and Japan paid tribute on Tuesday to the King of Pop on the 10th anniversary of his death.

Several hundred fans gathered outside his burial place in the Forest Lawn cemetery in Glendale, north of Los Angeles, and held a minute’s silence at 2:26 p.m., the moment when Jackson, 50, was pronounced dead on June 25, 2009. They then broke into a rendition of “Heal the World” as some mourners quietly sobbed, hugged or wiped away tears.

Fans, some dressed like Jackson, placed posters, dolls, sequined gloves and even a red jacket like the singer’s signature “Thriller” outfit outside the private mausoleum where he is buried.

“Forever King,” “We’ll never forget you” and “We’ll never let you part” read some of the messages from Iran, Hungary and Japan.

Joan Simons traveled to the cemetery from the Netherlands, meeting up with people she had met on fan Facebook groups over the years. “We all feel the same – the love for Michael as a person, his music,” Simons told Reuters.

Jackson died at his Los Angeles home after an overdose of the powerful anesthetic propofol, which he was using as a sleep aid. His doctor, Conrad Murray, was convicted at a 2011 trial of involuntary manslaughter.

“A decade later, Michael Jackson is still with us, his influence embedded in dance, fashion, art and music of the moment. He is more important than ever,” the Jackson estate said in a statement marking the anniversary.

While Jackson’s death was met with a wave of grief in 2009, his reputation has come under scrutiny again because of the documentary “Leaving Neverland,” in which two men gave emotional accounts of what they said was sexual abuse by the singer in the 1990s when they were boys.

Jackson was acquitted on charges of molesting a different boy in 2005, and his family have denied the accusations made in the documentary.

“People are going to believe what they want to believe. But if they really do their research, they’ll know the truth,” Rem Garza, 22, a Jackson impersonator from Long Beach, California, said on Tuesday.

Carla Tonti said she traveled from Florence, Italy, to the cemetery with her 79-year-old mother, Sabrina. “We feel like as if we are close to the people who just enjoy Michael as much as we did,” Tonti said.

Michael Jackson wore condoms every night -Doctor reveals

Conrad Murray, doctor to late music legend Micheal Jackson, has stated that the late pop singer wore condoms to prevent him from wetting the bed at night.

The medic responsible for the death of the Pop King with a fatal injection of Propofol said that he would hold the singer’s penis every night and put the condoms on for him.

Murray, after being freed from jail for serving half of his four-year prison sentence for involuntary manslaughter, said this in an interview with Daily Mail.

Murray said: “You want to know how close Michael and I were? I held his penis every night.

“I had to put a condom catheter on him because Michael dripped urine.

“He had a loss of sensation and was incontinent. Michael didn’t know how to put a condom on, so I had to do it for him.

“The singer took medicine to shrink his prostate to help him urinate more easily, but still suffered with incontinence.

“He wore dark trousers all the time because after he went to the toilet he would drip for hours.”

“Jackson was a “drug addict” who called Propofol his “milk” and would beg me to inject him so he could sleep, the former cardiologist added.

Back in 2011, Michael Jackson’s personal physician, Dr Conrad Murray, was found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of the star by a jury in Los Angeles.

A panel of seven men and five women took two days of deliberation to reach a verdict.

Michael Jackson died on 25 June 2009 from an overdose of the powerful anaesthetic propofol.

Michael Jackson’s black “Bad” jacket that the singer wore on his first solo tour is going up for auction in November and could fetch up to one hundred thousand dollars.
Julien’s Auctions said on Friday that the jacket, which Jackson signed on the back with a silver permanent marker, was worn throughout the singer’s “Bad” world concert tour from 1987-89.
The jacket, with multiple zippers, straps and buckles, is one of the late singer’s most iconic costume pieces alongside his red and black leather “Thriller” music video jacket that sold for $1.8 million at auction in 2011.
Jackson has become one of the most collectible celebrities since his sudden death in 2009 in Los Angeles at age 50 from an accidental overdose of an anesthetic he was using as a sleep aid.
The “Bad” jacket is being sold by Texas businessman and philanthropist Milton Verret along with almost 100 other items from his large rock ‘n roll memorabilia collection.

Part of the auction proceeds will go to the MusicCares charity arm of Grammy Award organizers the Recording Academy that provides health and other services to musicians.

Michael Jackson life to be turned into musical

  • Quincy Jones awarded $9.4m in Michael Jackson’s royalties trial

Quincy Jones, the famous producer behind Michael Jackson’s top hits, on Wednesday won $9.4 million in damages from the late superstar’s estate over posthumous works.

A jury in Los Angeles gave him only part of the $30 million he was seeking.

Recall that Jones has in the past arranged songs for some of the biggest names in music including Jackson, producing his “Thriller” in 1982 which remains the top-selling album of all time.

Jones filed suit over the use of songs in “This Is It” — a 2009 documentary about Jackson’s rehearsals for a series of concerts in London that ultimately were never to be due to the star’s sudden death — as well as two Cirque du Soleil circus shows.

He said he had no quarrel with Jackson personally but that he had reached contracts in 1978 and 1985 that gave him the first priority to Jackson’s music, including maintaining the right to be the first to mix original recordings.

“Although this judgment is not the full amount that I was seeking, I am very grateful that the jury decided in our favour in this matter,” Jones said in a statement.

  • Women who bleach are shallow, failures in life- Ebonyi lawmaker

Vivacious member of Ebonyi state house of Assembly, Maria Ude Nwachi, popularly known as ‘Nwanyi Afikpo’, has stated that any woman that bleaches her skin is a failure.

In her words, women who bleach do not have anything upstairs, are shallow and have no self-esteem.

She puts it this way: “The most idiotic thing on this earth for anyone to do is to tamper with your natural color. When I see ladies who bleach, it tells me all I need to know about them.

“They have nothing upstairs. They are shallow, materialistic, worldly, vapid, self-loathing with zero confidence & zero self-esteem. They are also as dumb as a wall. I don’t even give a damn if they are successful materially, I see them as failures in life.

The lawmaker made reference to Micheal Jackson , saying with all the money he had, he ended up looking like an unfortunate white woman.

Hear her:” Michael Jackson with all the money he had, attempted to be white, but ended up looking like an unfortunate white woman. You will surely end up looking like a monster sooner or later if you keep hating your color and tampering with it using your various despicable bleaching/ whitening creams and concoctions.

“The health implications of this stupid and embarrassing act of telling the world, God made a mighty error with their natural tone that requires self-correction, cannot be over-stated. So many girls that were beautiful naturally, but decided being yellow was their only hope, started rubbing rubbish bleaching cream, today look like worn-out hags that sleep with 50 men a day. Continue, idiots”.
