Mike Bamiloye, the president of Mount Zion Film Ministries, has taken to social media to share his last moment with famous gospel film actor and producer Moses Korede Are, widely known as Baba Gbenro, who died at age 65.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Baba Gbenro died yesterday, November 14, after a prolonged battle with liver disease.

He added that the sudden death of Are should be a reminder to everyone that no one knows when his/her time will be up.

He wrote: “When a person has laboured during the day in office, he would go home after work to go and rest.

“Dr. Korede Are has gone home to rest after finishing his work in the office.

“Our Employer in this Vineyard is Jesus Christ. He alone knows our Closing Time at work.

“My Closing Time at work is different from your Closing Time at work.

“But only Jesus Christ, our Employer knows when to tell us: IT IS CLOSING TIME.

“Baba Korede Are, a hard working Vineyard worker has closed for the day.

“His Master told him: IT IS TIME TO CLOSE FROM WORK.

“We were working together, when the Master suddenly called him and said: KOREDE, COME OVER HERE, IT IS TIME TO COME HOME.

“We were on Location of ABEJOYE season 8, we did not know he was rounding off his assignment in the Vineyard.

“He was on Film Location of ABATTOIR 5, we never knew he was rounding off.

“The Lesson for us all is:

“When will the Master call you to come Home and say: IT IS CLOSING TIME.

“Baba Korede is a very highly dedicated Man of God, a Humble drama minister.

“But he has finished his portion of work.

“He has gone honestly to rest from series of Movie Shoots and learning of many lines:

“When he was been taken to the hospital and we werw talking on phone, he said:

“Please, greet my friend for me. Pmease, Daddy, I will be well, dont let this discourage you from calling me on Film Location o!”

“He didn’t know he had shot his last Movie and had gone on his last Movie Location.

“In Heaven, he has seen the glory of his Master he had longed to see.

“He has now met His Master he has worked for all his life.”

Evangelist Bamiloye however added that Are’s death is not a loss, but a gain for heaven.

“WE DID NOT LOSE HIM, NO!

    “Heaven has gained him.

    “He has gone to rest.

“He Died here and Woke up there eternally.

    “Halleluyah, he concluded.

“I thank God I didn’t marry a lady who put me under unwarranted pressures” – Mike Bamiloye reflects on financial struggles during early years of marriage

Mike Bamiloye, the founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries has taken to social media to share how he and his wife struggled financially during the early years of their marriage.

The clergyman via his Instagram on Monday disclosed that he and his wife faced financial struggles to the point that they had to rely on the kindness of loved ones to be able to hold their court marriage.

Bamiloye said his best man gifted him a suit, and his sister-in-law provided shoes and socks, adding that he could not afford to take his wife for honeymoon.

According to him, “Me, whose wedding was helped by grace. When I got married, I didn’t have any money to take my wife to a honeymoon. We stayed in the house that we just rented. No Money for Honeymoon.

“Me, that it was my Big Sister who rented the flat for me so that I would not bring my wife to her house.

“Shey, me, that it was my Best Man that bought my suit and shirt so that I could wear the same thing with him.

“Shey me that it was my Sister-in-Law who graciously bought the shoes and socks that I wore on my Wedding Day.

“Gloria and I went around to see where we could rent a Wedding gown and we got a place and told them we would come back with the money before a Sister in our Ministry gave us the money to deposit for sowing a Wedding Gown.

“Me, I took my wife to the Registry to ask about Court Marriage and they told us the money to pay for the event, was a very small amount of money. It was around N170.00 (One Hundred and Seventy NAIRA). But we could not get the Money so we collected their forms and never returned with it because I could not get the money required.

“So we went to the Wedding without the Registry. So we never had a Government Marriage Certificate until about Six years ago when and Embassy demanded it, because we didn’t have the money for Court Marriage. All the Money we got on our Wedding day was used to settle the debts of the printer who printed out Wedding Programs and other things.

“So, two days after our Wedding, we had no money on us again.

“The following Saturday we had a drama ministration in ILESA, and we stood beside the road looking for a “Lift” to the ministration venue. But here we are sponsored by GRACE, I thank God I didn’t marry a lady who would put me under unwarranted pressures and unnecessary constraints. Glory be to God for GLORIA!”

Pray for your wife if she is not submissive – Mike Bamiloye

Evangelist Mike Bamiloye, founder of Mount Zion Ministries has advised married men on what to do if their wives are not submissive.

The renowned clergyman said when a woman chooses to be arrogant, proud and unsubmissive to her husband, she has broken the commandment of the Lord, which demands her to respect her husband and be submissive to him.

He said there is no way a woman who disobeys the laws of God can make heaven no matter how spiritual she may look before people.

Mike Bamiloye added that he has seen such a woman being cherished in the hand of her husband, after struggling for a long time in the marriage.

    In his words:

“When a woman chooses to be arrogant, proud, and unsubmissive to her husband, she has broken the commandment of the Lord, which demanded from her to respect her husband and be submissive to him, as the Head, just as the Church does to Christ.

When a woman chooses to punish a man by denying him access to her body, when the Bible says a wife should not do so in I Corinthians 7, she has broken the Commandment of the Lord and sinned against God.

When a woman is trying to be the head of the home when God says it is the spiritual role of the man, but trying to take over the control of the home, demanding that whatever she says must be done, turning the husband into a puppet; such woman has flagrantly discarded the law of the Most High God by disrespecting and dishonouring her husband.

Now, when a woman lives like this, be on the Lord’s side. Such is definitely working for the devil, no matter how dedicated she may be to the service of the Lord. Even some Pastors’ wives are in this category.

They believe their husbands are hooked and caged; they believe the man would never do anything to tarnish the name of the Lord or allow any scandal to their long-term ministry, SO HE DARE NOT CRY OUT, therefore, they maltreat the men at home and call the shot at home while the man calls the shot in the church. Some ministers of God are crying inside their hearts while they smile at their church congregations.

There is no way a woman who lives in perpetual disobedience to the laws of God can make heaven, however spiritual she may look before people. What is my last word to the men who are in the cage of contentious women, keep holding on to the Lord.

I have seen such women becoming completely transformed and highly submissive to the man and becoming helpful in his ministry. I have seen such woman becoming a royal gem in the hand of her husband, after a long time of struggles in a contentious marriage. God can do it. Let the woman become your prayer point. Keep loving her. Keep playing your own spiritual roles of a Godly man: love her, cherish and honour her, and keep praying for her. So that you don’t lose your soul. May the Lord heal such a marriage.”

“GOAT” means unbelieving and unrepentant fellow – Mike Bamiloye

Evangelist Mike Bamiloye has taken to Instagram to condemn the acronym “GOAT” which is widely used to mean, “Greatest of All Times”.

Taken to his Instagram, he stated that GOAT means. ” stubborn, unbelieving and unrepentant, headstrong fellow”.

He further stated that GOAT does not mean, “greatest of all time”, adding that it has more hidden dangerous meaning than what they call it.

    His statement reads; “Bro Rueben!
Because you are so gifted in Music.
Because you have been so blessed with compositions of Healing Music.
Because you are sought by many people.
Because you are now so famous and widely known everywhere!
YOU NOW CALL YOURSELF A “GOAT”
    A GOAT?
In the Bible, the GOAT is a symbol of the Stubborn, Headstrong, disobedient and Unbelieving people.
While the SHEEP symbolizes the Godly, Believing Children of God!
That is why Jesus said He will separate the SHEEP from the GOAT and cast the stubborn unbelieving People away from Him into everlasting Fire.

NOW, because the Music of Bro Reuben has become so popular and he is now been invited from place to place,
HE SAID HE IS NOW A GOAT!
    I said Ah! Bro Reuben!
Because you are now a GOAT,
Is that why you now change your name to Rubby Kumba?
Your streaming strength has now grown to 1.2m streams and you are now beginning to to put Colors on your hair small small!
    Last month,
It was a small yellow spot on your head above your left ear.
    But this week,
The left side of your head has a small spot colored with red!
    IS THIS HOW GOATS BEHAVE?

    I said, Ah! Brother Reuben,
What is the Meaning of GOAT?
You said, Ah, GOAT has a good meaning!
    You said, it means:
    “GREATEST OF ALL TIME”
    And I said,
No! It is the Devil that has changed the meaning for you!
It means Stubborn, Unbelieving and unrepentant, headstrong fellow.

    Bro Rueben,
Dont you see that the Spirit of the GOAT is already possessing you?
You that was very humble and respectful in the Church, and God was helping you gradually to establish your ministry,
Now, you are beginning to leave your hair without combing it.
You are beginning to walk like a limping man.
You are beginning to walk with your shoulders raised up like the PrayingMantis arms.
Your jean trousers is beginning to tear small small.
    BRO REUBEN!
    You are not a GOAT!
YOU ARE A SHEEP of GOD!
You are not the Greatest of ALL Times,
    THEY ARE LYING TO YOU!
A Goat People has no place in the Kingdom of God!
    NOW LISTEN! Bro Reuben!
MAYBE GOAT HAS MORE HIDDEN DANGEROUS MEANING THAT WHAT THEY CALL IT TO YOU!”

Founder and President of Mount Zion Faith Ministries and Mount Zion Television, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye has queried ladies who dress seductively and dance sensually in church if they are hired assassins.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Evangelist Bamiloye, who is a veteran Christian filmmaker, queried such ladies through his official Facebook page on Thursday.

He inquired as to whether or not they are hired assassins, given their intent to ‘kill’.

“You dressed seductively to Church. You danced sensually to praises and worships in your short tight skirt and high heel shoes. You purposely “dressed to kill”. Are you a hired assassin?” Bamiloye wrote.

Meanwhile, Bamiloye shared his thoughts on the importance of living a righteous life.

“You can not continue to live in unrighteousness in your office or campus and still be expecting or praying to receive His Miracles.

“You can not be living an immoral life and still be praying and fasting for His Wonders of Open Doors in your life. You are breaking His Word, you are not doing what He says to you.

“Deuteronomy 28:13: And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.

“There are no other ABC formulae of divine Promotion. The only formulae is learning to live by His commandment for your life. Learning to hear His voice and obey whatever He says concerning your daily life. It makes you to walk daily in atmosphere of miracles.

“Blessings and favors come after you and hover over you. Goodness and kindness walk around you wherever you are. It makes you to know the mind of God in your ministry all the time,” he wrote.

Valentine: Men, ladies will slaughter their destinies on bed- Mike Bamiloye

Popular drama Evangelist and filmmaker, Mike Bamiloye has described February 14 which is Valentine’s Day as a day of death, noting that many will slaughter their destinies on the bed of lustful pleasure.

The revered filmmaker cited the example of the Bible character Joseph, saying his destiny would have been aborted had it been he slept with Potiphar’s wife.

He tweeted, “Tomorrow is a day of death. Tomorrow evening is a ‘Night of Fun’ when many men and ladies will slaughter their destinies on the bed of lustful pleasure. By next morning it is done! Destiny auctioned to a young man or a lady whose future has been mortgaged to the devil.

“Happy Valentine! If Joseph had had fun with Potiphar’s wife, he would never have got to the palace to see the type of Glory he saw. He escaped that trap that would have aborted his destiny on which so many lives in Egypt and Canaan land, depended upon.

“There is a great story in Proverbs 7:6-27. It is a sad story of a young man on his own “Valentine Night”. He had thought he wanted to have fun that night, he had thought he wanted to enjoy himself but crashed his future in a night of fun.”

There are lots of packaged beauties these days- Mike Bamiloye

Popular Christian film-maker, Mike Bamiloye, has warned men to look beyond physical beauty when searching for a wife.

The evangelist noted that physical beauty cannot lead to a successful marriage.

Speaking in a chat with Punch, he said: “Men who want to get married, who desire to have the right lady, must not depend upon beauty because there are a lot of packaged beauties these days among ladies. You can’t trust the hair they have on, nor how beautiful they appear because it may have been packaged with makeup. Men should rather be patient and seek a woman that fears God.”

Reacting to allegations from non-fans who claimed that a recent post by him on Instagram suggested that cooking should be left to women, Bamiloye said, “I do help my wife in the kitchen. It is the will of God that every woman must be able to care for her husband but that does not mean men should not help their wives in the kitchen.”

He is married to Gloria Bamiloye, a Nigerian actress and evangelist.

  • Special Report: Should comedians perform in the house of God?

Popular comedians, Still Ringing mounted the House On The Rock church’s pulpit at the recently held concert, The African Praise Experience(TAPE), and said:” Something will fall on you,

    Banana will fall on you,

    Enu Ose enu Ose,

    Ariwo Ko ni music ooh”.

The humorous duo got many wondering If they had not crossed the limits, in the delivery of their jokes on a pulpit which is supposed to be a sacred place to perform on. Still Ringing’s brand of comedy thrives on using secular songs and statements to make people laugh in the house of God.

An article published in Herald Magazine titled Uphold Holiness of the Pulpit opines that:” The pulpit must be a sacred place, a place where believers must use as a place of contact with their God should they choose to come forward to it and cast their burdens unto him.”

The deployment of stand-up comedians in churches and Christian events has become a trend in Christendom these days. While some Pastors see nothing wrong with it, other clerics see it as the pathway to defiling the altar of God. There are many choruses that echo the same sentiments about comedians performing in the church. Questions like’ How can an “entertainer” be invited to minister to “the people of God?” always comes up in such conversations.

Ace comedian and actor, Owen Gee in a chat with TheNewsGuru says:” This question I think has been over flogged, why do people complain about comedians performing in church? Are there musicians who perform in church? Yes! Are there stage plays being done in church? Yes! So why not comedy? I started my career performing in church and was amongst one of the first Christian comedians in the country.

“The church gave me my platform. Performance within the church environs is another way of communicating God’s word with the Christian audience using humour. If there are gospel musicians, then we should have gospel comedians. The opinion of a few people cannot stop the spread of the gospel via humour, God is a God of laughter”.

Revered Nigerian dramatist and founder of Mount Zion Drama Ministry, Mike Bamiloye condemns Nigerian clergies who invite comedians to perform at their church events. He affirms that making the mockery of the scriptures and the name of Jesus is unacceptable.

Hear him:” For a long while I have questioned the inclusion of comedy in church events. What do I question? The fact that the comedians brought in are allowed to make jokes of scriptures, the blood of Jesus, speaking in tongues, the throne of grace etc And we sit there laughing? What are we laughing at? What is funny? Mocking God, Christ, the Holy Spirit and the word of God is funny? We hear of other religions where they are obsessed with protecting the image of their leader and we gleefully allow people to mock our leader Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and thereby indirectly mocking God? They look at us with disdain because we are bad ambassadors of our faith!”.

In the same vein, a former member of popular gospel music group, Infinity Kenny K’ore wrote on Facebook:” I have never seen anybody that God ordained and he is a comedian. I am told that pastors now invite comedians to joke with the word of God. This is an abomination in the sanctuary. I would not have worried if it was in a market. For you as a man of God to go and hire comedians means you have nothing to offer. If you have nothing to do in the ministry, please get out!”.

Josh2Funny, a renowned social media comedian in a chat with TheNewsGuru, says that the church is the best platform for stand-up comedy.

In his words:” The church is the best place to exhibit any talent because the talent was given to you by God.You should use it to worship him in his house. I won’t pretend that I don’t know that some comedians say some jokes that shouldn’t be said in the church. The important thing is for you to identify the comedians that are good enough to perform in your church. I believe the people of God deserve happiness in the presence of their father”.

Asiri, another comedian popular for his hilarious skits on Instagram affirms that the language used in communication is germane to the overall acceptance of comedy in the house of God.

Hear him:” Every community has its language. Every organization has its dynamics. If you know the language of the elites you will communicate well there. If you know the language of the streets, the streets will respond to you. If you know the language of the church, there is nothing wrong in communicating comedy there.

“The church just has to be sure of the pedigree of any personality gracing their platforms. Comedy in my own understanding is a game of dynamics and you can’t be a master of all dynamics. If you have what it takes to craft your joke without crossing the line as pertaining to a church audience, then you understand the dynamics. But if you don’t have the capacity to appeal to the church dynamics, there are several other platforms you can grace” he reveals to TheNewsGuru.

Nigerian broadcaster and on-air-personality, Olayemi Ogunwole a.k.a Honey Pot in an Interview with TheNewsGuru says: “The activities have to be interesting for people to be attracted. Yes, I love to worship God and I work six days a week. If churches have drama groups and choir departments, I think there is nothing wrong when comedians come to liven up the atmosphere. As long as the joke is not blaspheming or dragging the name of God in the mud. I have met comedians before who crack ethical and clean jokes and when they attend secular events they still share clean jokes. I think it’s not bad when people listen to clean jokes in church” she concludes.

Adedayo Aderombi popularly known as Deeone Comedian believes comedians should not be stopped from performing in churches because, in the presence of God, there is fullness of Joy.

“In the presence of God, there is fullness of Joy. In my view, comedy in the church is a good thing and should be encouraged as long as it is ethical.

“Ecclesiastes 3:4 says:” There is a time to laugh”. I think churches should encourage more gospel and ethical comedy, it is like medicine to the body” he reveals
