Suspected Gunmen attack Military checkpoint in Ebonyi
Suspected Gunmen have attacked a military checkpoint on Amangwu axis of the Amasiri-Owutu-edda highway in Edda Local Government Area of Ebonyi. DSP Joshua Ukandu, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Police Command in the state, confirmed the incident to NAN on Friday.

Gunmen attack Peter Obi’s hometown, military checkpoint
Five persons were also murdered at a bar in Obiofia village, Osumenyi, in Nnewi South. Findings show that the gunmen stormed a military checkpoint in Agulu on Saturday with rifles, cutlasses, bottles and other dangerous and opened fire on the soldiers and succeeded in killing one of them.
