A Facebook user, identified as Ikem Okuhu, has through his Facebook page narrated his experience of how he saw Yemi Alade’s mum, Helen Uzoma at a beer parlour causing commotion.
According to him, the commotion started when the proud mother of the singer told the disc jockey (DJ) to play her daughter’s song and the DJ responded that he had none of Yemi’s songs.
It is said that Helen is a regular at the bar and causes trouble at the bar on a regular basis and it doesn’t seem new to anyone, so no one intervenes when she starts her bitter rantings.
The post reads;
“Yemi Alade, if what I am witnessing here is anything to go by, then you have a lot to do about this woman they said is your mother. Na wa o!”
“Still on Yemi Alade
“So I walked into this pub in this city for a bottle or two and then have the chance to watch the Tottenham/Man City match in that environment where we men love to watch ball games.
“Tame “toosh” joint o! And as soon as the alluring aroma of Jollof Rice wafted through the pervasive smell and smoke from the suya Mallam nearby, I remembered I was also hungry and ordered for a plate.
“Just one scoop and the screaming started. Because it was a lady’s voice bursting her lungs in head-breaking English, I lifted myself off my seat for a better view.
“Light-complexioned, quite busty even for a woman of her age and garbed in blue gown, she screamed and banged the bar table, threatening the bottles, the beers and the glasses protecting the “holy” contents.
“Look! You don’t know me! I say you don’t know me at all!!! I am a barrack girl o! I am a barrack girl!!! My madness no get cure if I start to dey crase o!”
“I just cannot remember all. And she went on for more than an hour. Sad thing was no one bothered to respond to her. No one, except an unfortunate bartender that tried to explain whatever was the reason for the tiff.
“And then the fight started. She immediately pounced on him, forcing him to retreat behind a door.
“I had to ask the lady attending to me who she was and to my shock, she informed me this screaming woman was the mother of Yemi Alade, the “Johnny” crooner.
“Not seen such irresponsibility in a long time. All the people on her table had to keep quiet, then depart one by one.
“I got told she’s a regular at that pub” He wrote.

Why i throw my baby inside well – Mother
A hairdresser, Folashade Odubayo, is cooling her heels in the police custody after she was arrested for throwing her two-year-old son, Rilwan Asore, into a well in Ajegunle, Ikorodu area of Lagos.
The boy was recovered dead from the well after some residents of the community, who saw his body floating around 8am on Monday, reported the incident to the police at the Owode Onirin Division.
Odubayo, who fled the scene, was reportedly tracked down on Wednesday at her residence in Iketu, a neighbouring community.
The suspect is an indigene of Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State and her three children, including Rilwan, are fathered by three different men.
While the father of the deceased child, Olalekan Asore, claimed Rilwan was killed, the suspect said the kid died at her boyfriend’s residence in Ajegunle during a visit.
Odubayo, a 30-year-old hairdresser, told Saturday PUNCH that she threw the corpse into the well out of confusion. She said Rilwan had a hole in the heart which made him to gasp for breath occasionally.
She claimed that the complication recurred around 11pm on Monday while she was with the kid at her boyfriend’s residence in Ajegunle.
She said, “I gave birth to him on the road on my way to a hospital. He started gasping while she was six months old and I took him to Ikorodu General Hospital. I was told that he had a hole in the heart and that I would need about N1.5m to carry out a surgery on him in India.
“I was calling his father and telling him about our child’s case for one year, but he did not show up. I even told his sister about it.
“On July 30, I went to visit my boyfriend, Ola, and took Rilwan along with me. While I was waiting for Ola to come back from work, he started gasping again. I held him to my chest, but he did not survive it. I didn’t know what to do. I was confused. I threw his corpse inside the well because I didn’t know what to tell his father.
“I have two other children – a boy and a girl. I cannot kill my own child. Why should I kill him?”
But Rilwan’s father, Olalekan, stated that his estranged lover never told him that their son was suffering from a heart-related ailment, claiming that the boy was killed.
The 32-year-old, who said he always gave Odubayo money for Rilwan’s upkeep, explained that his sister also assisted whenever he did not have money for his upkeep.
While lamenting that he regretted his relationship with the suspect, the technician said he never knew she had borne two children until she became pregnant for him.
He said, “I am a technician. I usually work at Abeokuta, Ogun State and it can take me weeks before I return to Lagos. Anytime I come back, I always give her money to take care of our child.
“She called me last week and asked where I was. I told her I was at Abeokuta and promised to see her when I came back. On Wednesday morning, I went to her house, but I did not meet her. I was leaving when her mother called me back.
“She directed me to her son, Taiye, who told me my son had died and had been buried in Ikorodu. I was shocked and wondered what could have happened to him.
“Meanwhile, there was a time the man (Taiye) confronted me for not coming to visit my son. He said if my son died, he would throw his body away. My son was killed. Why didn’t they allow me or my sister to see his corpse before he was buried?”
Olalekan stated that Folashade used to call him that Rilwan was admitted to a hospital, but said he would not meet her and the boy on getting to the hospital.
“If I called her on getting to the hospital, she would say my son had just been discharged. I would go home to check on the boy, but I would not see any sign of sickness in him. She forced me to pay N10,000 for the treatment. At times, she would collect N15,000 from me. She did that often,” he added.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Chike Oti, said the suspect had been transferred to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba, for further investigation.
He said, “Around 8am on Monday, a resident of Omowale Street, Ajegunle, reported that he saw the corpse of a two-year-old child later identified as Rilwan Asore inside a well in the above address.
“The scene was promptly visited by detectives. The corpse was removed and taken to the Ikorodu General Hospital mortuary for autopsy. The mother of the deceased has been arrested. On interrogation, she confessed that she threw the baby into the well.”

Osama bin Laden’s mum breaks silence claiming ‘good kid’ was brainwashed
Osama bin Laden’s mother has spoken to the media for the first time, insisting her son was a “very good kid” who was radicalised during his time at university.
Alia Ghanem said her son – who was born into one of Saudi Arabia’s wealthiest families – was “brainwashed” in his early 20s. In a new interview, she questioned why he wanted to “throw it all away”.
The former al Qaeda leader’s mother spoke to The Guardian newspaper alongside her surviving sons – bin Laden’s half brothers Hassan and Ahmad.Speaking about bin Laden growing up, she said he was shy and intelligent before he went off to fight the Russian occupation in Afghanistan in the 1980s.
“My life was very difficult because he was so far away from me,” said Ms Ghanem. “He was a very good kid and he loved me so much.”
The mother of the man who masterminded the 9/11 terror attacks in New York and Washington said her son was “changed” by the people he met while studying economics at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, where he “became a different man”.
“He was a very good child until he met some people who pretty much brainwashed him in his early 20s,” she told the newspaper.
“I would always tell him to stay away from them, and he would never admit to me what he was doing, because he loved me so much.”
Hassan said his brother was well-respected in the early days when he first travelled to Afghanistan.
“At the start, we were very proud of him,” he said. “Even the Saudi government would treat him in a very noble, respectful way. And then came Osama the mujahid.”
He added: “I am very proud of him in the sense that he was my oldest brother. He taught me a lot.
“But I don’t think I’m very proud of him as a man. He reached superstardom on a global stage, and it was all for nothing.”
Ahmad said his mother blamed those around bin Laden but not her son himself.
The former al Qaeda leader was captured in 2011 at his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, before being shot dead.
“It has been 17 years now [since 9/11] and she remains in denial about Osama,” he told The Guardian. “She loved him so much and refuses to blame him.
“Instead, she blames those around him. She only knows the good boy side, the side we all saw. She never got to know the jihadist side.”
Reflecting on the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, which saw almost 3,000 people killed, he said he was “stunned” by the early reports which came out of America.

I miss everything about my mother- Chioma Akpotha
Sensational actress, Chioma Akpotha, took to her Instagram page on the 22nd of May 2019 to celebrate the life of her mother who died about five years ago.
Speaking in a chat with Punch, she said her mom died with 90 per cent of her secrets.
“It has been five years that my mother has died and till date, I still miss everything about her. Being the first daughter, she was my best friend but whenever I misbehaved, she hardly used a cane on me, instead, she would use her hand, slippers, pestle, among other things. She was left handed but I always forgot that aspect whenever she was beating me, so there were times that I would expect the slap on the right cheek and would have guarded the right side of my face only for the slap to land on the left side. I miss her a lot. My mother went to her grave with about 90 per cent of my secret and that is how close I was to my mother. She was practically my backbone.
Recalling how her late mom was helpful to her during the birth of her son, she said: “When I had my first son, my mother stayed with us for about a year. Although she had a restaurant at the time, she abandoned it to look after my child and would accompany me to the various movie sets I had to attend. She was running her business from the movie location. I miss everything about her. There is a saying that Igbo people have which states, ‘the day you lose your mother is the day you lose your God. Her death has thrown me into the open but I believe she is now an angel who watches over me from up above and she is fighting for me”.
