    I’m legally married to Temi Otedola – Mr Eazi

    Popular Nigerian singer, Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, popularly known as  Mr Eazi, has said that contrary to popular opinion, his marriage to actress and fashion blogger, Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire and philanthropist Femi Otedola was not held secretely.

    According to him, the video of his song ‘Legalize’ was the footage of their video that was held in Venice a state in Italy.

    The artiste made this known in a recent interview with Lagos based radio station, Naija FM.

    Asked if he was legally married to Otedola and his response was a big Yes.

    Quizzed again why it was held secretely, the artiste said it wasn’t held secretely.

    His response: “Who told you it was a secret wedding? Go and watch the video of my song ‘Legalise’ you will get the answer to your question. We shot the video in Venice.

    Continuing h said “If you watch the video you will see proofs there. Our outfits weren’t just costumes. Go and watch the video and you will see everything clearly. It’s just like what painters do, whenever you see their work you will see the message they’re trying to convey. That’s how it’s with us musicians too.”

    Temi and Eazi have been dating for a while and the latter proposed in 2022.

    Nigerian artiste and penalty to throw -in crooner, Temitope Adekunle, popularly known as Small Doctor, has said that Mr Eazi is richer than Davido.

    Omo Better as Small Doctor is fondly called added that he has met both artistes before.

    According to him,  Mr Eazi is not just rich but wealthy.

    He stated this while appearing as a guest on the latest episode of Echoo Room podcast hosted by Quincy Jonze.

    The ‘Omo Better’ crooner said, “The richest person I have ever met is Mr Eazi. My perception is that he has money. It’s not even just having money, he has resources.

    “I have met Davido. I call David ‘Richest’. If he hears ‘Richest’, he knows that it is Small Doctor. David is ‘Richest’ but Eazi is the richest person I have ever met.”

    Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur, Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has made history by becoming the first Nigerian artiste to win a Latin Grammy Award.

    A statement signed by the “Werser” crooner read that he received nominations in four categories at the 21st edition of the annual Latin Grammy awards.

    Mr Eazi also received certificates for features on J Balvin and Bad Bunny Albums.

    “Eazi was a featured artiste on the song Arcoíris off ‘Colores – J Balvin’, which won the Best Urban Album category and also on ‘Oasis – J Balvin x Bad Bunny’ album in the same category.

    “Mr Eazi’s contributions on both Oasis and Colores were widely acclaimed for its genre-bending sound and innovative approach to Latin music.

    “The featured tracks COMO UN BEBÉ and Acoiris has garnered over 198 million streams and 54 million streams respectively on Spotify alone and helped to bring a fresh perspective to the projects,” it read.

    The certificates officially received by Mr Eazi are; featured artiste on Oasis by JBalvin/ Bad Bunny for Album of the year 2020; featured artiste on Oasis by JBalvin/ Bad Bunny for Best Urban Album 2020; Composer on Colores Album of the year 2020 and Featured artiste on Colores by J Balvin – Best Urban Album (Winner) 2020.

    According to the statement, Mr Eazi’s success in the Latin music world is a testament to his talent and his commitment to breaking down barriers and creating a truly global sound.

    “He is also scheduled to release a new body of work later this year,” the statement read.

    Mr Eazi calls out Bad Bunny over copyright infringement

    Nigerian-born Ghana-based singer, Oluwatosin Ajibade, aka Mr. Eazi, has taken to his Twitter account to call out Latino megastar, Bad Bunny, for infringing on the intellectual property of EmPawa artist Joeboy.

    Calling out Bad Bunny on Monday, 6th February 2023, via his Twitter account, Mr. Easi explained that the Latino megastar (Bad Bunny), whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio,  recorded a Joeboy song without going through the standard clearance process with the label and the artist.

    “Yo @sanbenito you need to tell your lawyers to stop messing around and clear that Joeboy rip-off on your album,” the tweet reads.

    Mr. Eazi then proceeded to add a YouTube link to the song in question in another tweet in an effort to eliminate any doubt as to his claim.

    The EmPawa boss didn’t restrict his complaints to Twitter as he took to Linkedin to further expatiate on the copyright infringement.

    In the post on his Linkedin page, he complained about the disregard from Bad Bunny and his label over their failure to clear the song. He further shared that he found their actions to be disrespectful and condescending.

    In August 2019, Mr Eazi launched emPawa Africa, a talent incubation initiative designed to nurture and support up-and-coming African artists.

    Mr. Easi is a pioneer of Banku music, a fusion of sound he describes as a mixture of Ghanaian highlife and Nigerian chord progressions and patterns.

    He relocated to Kumasi, Ghana in 2008 and enrolled at KNUST, where he began booking artists to perform at college parties.

    The singer showed interest in music after recording a guest verse on “My Life”, a song that gained traction and became a popular record at KNUST.

    Mr Eazi released his debut mixtape About to Blow in 2013. He gained an international audience following the release of the Efya-assisted single “Skin Tight”.

    His second mixtape, titled Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra To Lagos, was released in 2017.

    Nigerian singer, Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has joined a host of other American models and superstars for a luxury fashion house campaign by Hugo Boss.

    Mr Eazi joined Gigi Hadid, an American model, DJ Khaled, an American Dj; Naomi Campbell, who is a British model and Khaby Lame, a Senegalese-Italian media personality for the campaign themed #BeYourOwnBOSS.

    A statement signed by Mr Eazi said that the Nigerian singer was the only African artiste featured in the new star-studded Boss campaign.

    “The advertising campaign for Spring/Summer 2023 features a star-studded lineup of celebrities including Nigerian artiste Mr Eazi.

    “He engaged in some nostalgia posing with an adorable picture taken when he was just a child wearing the new season sweater from Boss.

    “The aim is to illustrate Boss’s slogan “Be Your Own Boss”, by telling the story of “the extraordinary path to a life of success” travelled by the celebrities featured in the campaign.

    “The brand also enlisted the likes of Colombian pop singer Maluma, US supermodel Gigi Hadid, British model Naomi Campbell, South Korean actor Lee Minho, Italian tennis player Matteo Berrettini, Anthony Joshua and many others from across the world.

    “The superstar singer continues his ascent in recent times following a slew of successful releases of songs like Legalize, Patek and the latest single; Werser, which is getting traction on Tiktok.

    “He also tweeted that he will release a couple of projects this year,” the statement said.

    Popular Afrobeat singer, Mr Eazi, has cleared the doubt of naysayers who rumoured breakup with his fiancee, Temi Otedola.

    It would be recalled that some days ago, Temi Otedola penned a cryptic note while sharing a teary face that stirred rumours of the relationship breakup.

    Neither Mr Eazi nor the billionaire’s daughter responded to the mixed reactions on social media on the alleged breakup- until now.

    In a post via Twitter, Temi announced her ambassadorial deal with a fintech industry while sharing photos of herself.

    “You’re looking at @investbamboo NEWEST AMBASSADOR ??? It’s time to Dream, Invest & Live,” she wrote.

    Her fiance, however, acknowledged the new deal with praising-hands emojis.

    Following dinner and drinks, they bumped into friends and finished off the night at the club. “I ended up having to drop him home because he got a little too lit,” she giggles. “I felt like I had known him all my life after that night. That should’ve been a sign.”

    However, she stirred reactions with her cryptic post on tears, leaving many people speculating that it may not be far from her love affair.

    She shared several photos one of which captures her lying down in bed shedding tears.

    The photo appears to have been sent by her to someone else on WhatsApp, accompanied with the caption, “ur next slay is always after your last cry”

    However, even more disturbing was the fact that she had captioned the entire image uploaded on her Instagram page with the line, “Forgiven and forgotten”.

    An award-winning female disc jockey, Florence Otedola, professionally known as DJ Cuppy, has described her life as a fulfilled one, noting that she has been happy and enjoying her life after the announcement of her engagement with her lover, Ryan Taylor.

    Since news about her engagement to the British boxer (Taylor), went viral, the 30-year-old has been inactive on social media.

    Apologizing for her absence in a Twitter post on Tuesday night, Cuppy said she has been enjoying her ‘real life’.

    She wrote: “My dear Cupcakes, sorry I haven’t been active on social media recently… I’ve just been really HAPPY and ENJOYING my real life tbh.”

    Ryan proposed to Cuppy at the Gumball award night in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, November 19.

    In a video that made rounds on social media, Ryan could be seen going down on one knee to propose to Cuppy who said yes in the presence of their friends and well-wishers.

    Ryan was born on 19 August 1984. He is an English professional footballer who plays for National League North club Buxton. A versatile player and former England under-21 international, he is able to play as a full-back or across the midfield and has excellent free-kick taking and a dead baller

    DJ Cuppy disclosed that she needs a partner that can push her and is also better at some things than her so they can inspire her to improve herself.

    “I really think I have to find a partner that compliments me but still pushes me and is also better at some things than I am. So they can inspire me to improve myself as a person…Hence I’m still single,” she wrote.

    In February, DJ Cuppy reached out to her long-term admirer on Twitter known as Lerry Asiwaju. Asiwaju never passed off an opportunity to express his interest in DJ Cuppy and has been shooting his shot at her always.

    DJ Cuppy asked Asiwaju to be her Valentine and asked him to go on a virtual date with her on Valentine’s day. Nothing was heard about them thereafter.
