Davido’s rumoured girlfriend, Mya Yafai deactivates Instagram account

Nigerian pop star’s rumoured new girlfriend, Mya Yafai has deactivated her Instagram page.

The account of the Instagram model and actress was deactivated on Tuesday, March 30, 2021.

It is not clear why the model deactivated the account but it might be connected to her recent loved up photos with Davido.

Before the deactivation of the account, Yafai had almost 270k followers and 181 photos on the page.

The model became popular in Nigeria after she was spotted with the Davido back in February while he was vacationing in the Caribbean.

As expected, Davido’s fiancée, became the subject of discussions on social media amid the rumoured affair between the singer and the model.The award-winning crooner met Chioma while he was studying economics at Babcock University.

Davido had proposed to her in September last year which was followed by a low-key introduction ceremony. They would later welcome their first child a baby boy in October.

Nigerian pop star, Davido has sent tongues wagging after photos of himself and his rumoured girlfriend, Mya Yafai, kissing surfaced online.

In the photos, the music star is captured in a romantic position with his rumoured new girlfriend.

TheNewsGuru gathered that the photos were taken at a party they attended together in the United States of America.

This is coming weeks after they were spotted together vacationing in Sint Maarten, a country in the Caribbean.

American gossip Instagram page, The Shaderoom shared a video of Davido and Yafai holding hands as they stepped out for a walk.

After the video was released, speculations followed over the singer’s engagement to his fiancée, Chioma Avril Rowland whom he calls his ‘assurance’

The occurrence has sparked various reactions on Twitter.

Nigerians on micro-bloging site, Twitter are reacting to the indications that Nigerian singer, Davido may be turning his fiancee, Chioma into another Baby Mama, after being spotted since December with American model, Mya Yafai.

Davido and Chioma, after a family introduction in September 2019, were expected to get married last year, but the plan was upended by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Davido posted a photo on 26 February in a private jet indicating he was on his way to the idyllic island, known for lagoons, beaches and salt pans. The capital, Philipsburg, has cobblestone streets and coloUrful, colonial-style buildings lining its Front Street shopping area, according to Wikipedia.

Davido’s marriage plans with Chioma in limbo:

The singer in an interview said the wedding would happen this year.

But various reports said the ceremony may not happen again, as Davido’s heart appeared glued with Yafai.

The model was in Nigeria late last year to spend Christmas and New Year with Davido.

Both lovebirds even journeyed to Accra Ghana, as part of their unforgettable rendezvous.

Yafai testified that she enjoyed herself as she wrote on Instagram: “I Love you Africa”.

A video on her Instagram page froze some of her experiences, including a boat cruise on the Lagoon.

Reports said Chioma had stopped wearing her engagement ring since December, having gotten wind of Davido’s new romance.

On Saturday night, Davido and Chioma were trending on Twitter Nigeria.

And what spurred the buzz was news that Davido and Yafai have escaped to Sint Marten, a small island in the Caribbean, that is part of the Kingdom of Netherlands for vacation.
