    BBNaija: Okowa congratulates Dorathy, Neo

    Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta on Monday congratulated Dorathy Bachor and Neo Akpofure, both from the state, who were among the five finalists at the just concluded BBNaija reality TV Show.

    In a series of tweets on his handle @IAOkowa, the Governor said that the state was indeed proud of the duo whom he described as ambassadors of Delta State.

    The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Bachor was Runner-Up in the competition while Akpofure was one of the five finalists.

    In his tweet, Okowa reaffirmed that the government would continue to support talented Deltans to achieve their dreams and aspirations.

    He said that the 24-year-old Bachor displayed leadership traits that distinguished her as a model for young persons in Delta and beyond.

    ”I am not surprised that she became the last woman standing out of 10 women among 20 housemates in the competition.

    “Her exemplary conduct in the Big Brother house was good and she did not bring any embarrassment to the state.

    “As a state, we are very delighted that our daughter, Dorathy Bachor, emerged the Runner Up in the just-concluded BBNaija competition.

    “We are glad that she and Neo related very well with the other housemates and survived all the evictions and avoided controversies in the house.

    “They have portrayed the Delta character of being well behaved and worthy ambassadors of the state,’’ the governor stated.

    He thanked the people of Delta and Nigerians for making their votes count for Bachor and Akpofure.

    Okowa advised them to continue to conduct themselves responsibly at all times and wished them well in their other endeavours.

    Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) Lockdown housemate, Emuobonuvie Akpofure, popularly known as Neo has been evicted from the reality TV show.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Mr Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the presenter of the 2020 BBNaija reality show announced the eviction of Neo from the show on Sunday, following the eviction of Vee.

    Neo, 26, is a ride-hailing app driver and a Delta State native. Although he describes himself as fun, tolerant, loving and smart, he won’t hesitate to be Indaboski Bahose when it comes to issues concerning bullying and inequality.

    The eviction of Neo, after Vee, makes the top three finalists of the BBNaija 2020 Laycon, Dorathy and Nengi.

    Big Brother Naija, BBNaija housemate, Neo has stated that he shares similarities with evicted housemate, Ozo.

     

    TheNewsGuru recalls that Laycon on Friday night approached Neo, discussing his recent argument with Vee and their relationship in the house.

     

    Neo explaining his feelings for Vee, said he has acted so far to Vee just as Ozo did to Nengi.

     

    According to him, he has given himself to Vee, took care of her just like Ozo did for Nengi but she never appreciated him for his efforts.

     

    Neo said: “Since I got into this house, I tried to show Vee love and care for her. I’m just like Ozo because we both believe in giving of ourselves even with little returns.

     

    “I’ve made breakfast for Vee like Ozo has for Nengi many times but if Vee feels I’m not important enough to build a life together, then it’s okay.

     

    “Nengi is always appreciative of Ozo’s action but Vee always complains.”

    All remaining housemates in the Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) Lockdown house took turns during their diary sessions on Friday to say who they think will become the eventual winner of the 2020 edition of the reality TV show.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports all remaining housemates, including Laycon, Dorathy, Neo, Nengi and Vee participated in naming who they think will eventually win the show.

    While Nengi thinks that if Big Brother doesn’t end up being won by her, Laycon will be victorious, Neo thinks that if he doesn’t win Big Brother, Nengi will win because she is pretty and down to earth.

    On the other hand, while Laycon thinks that if he doesn’t win Big Brother Naija, Dorathy will take it because of her warm personality and sweet nature, Dorathy thinks that if she doesn’t win Big Brother, then Neo will

    While Dorathy thinks that Neo’s energetic personality will make him top dog, Neo’s heartthrob, Vee believes that if Big Brother is not won by her, it’s going to Laycon. She thinks that Laycon’s brains and vision will seal the deal for him.

    TNG reports the BBNaija reality show comes to end on Sunday, with only one housemate out of the five remaining housemates set to walk away with N85,000,000.00 total grand prize.

    Meanwhile, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the presenter of the show had said a grand winner will emerge through number of votes accrued to a housemate.

    Obi-Uchendu disclosed this on his official twitter page @Ebuka, where he wrote “How your favorite BBNAIJA housemate will ‘fly’ into the top spot on Sunday…But only if you vote”.

    The Big Brother Lockdown Season five which started on July 19, with 20 housemates is gradually coming to an end leaving only five housemates to jostle for the N85 million grand prize.

    TNG reports that the BBNaija season five would end on Sunday Sept. 27.

    The breakdown of the grand prize for BBNaija season five includes N30 million cash prize; a two-bedroom apartment courtesy Revolution Plus; a top of the range SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors; a trip to Dublin courtesy Guinness; home appliances courtesy Scanfrost.

    Others are a trip to Dubai packaged by Travelbeta; a year’s supply of Indomie noodles, Munch it, and Colgate toothpaste; a year’s supply of Pepsi, a branded chiller, trip to watch the UEFA Champions League finale; and a brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.

    In 2019, the BBNaija winner, Mercy Eke, won N30 million prize money, as well as other mouth-watering gifts.

    BBNaija housemate, Neo was on Wednesday captured washing his love interest, Vee’s pant.

    The NewsGuru recalls that Nengi had walked in on Vee complaining that one of her pants was missing after the Lipton task.

    But, she immediately noticed that Neo was still washing the pant and other cloths.

    Reacting, Nengi who was shocked, said Vee was a lucky girl.

    However, Vee explained that Neo was washing her pant because she is a clean girl.

    Nengi said, “Wow Vee, you are such a lucky girl, Neo even washes pant.”

    Vee responded, “He know I am a clean girl, that’s the reason.”

    Vee had earlier revealed her plans to have consistent sex with her boyfriend, Neo immediately after the show.

    However, Nengi has vowed to disturb the love birds.

    Nengi during a chat with Neo after Ozo’s eviction said she is pained about his eviction because she disagreed with him throughout the week.

     

    She added that Ozo is too good for this world and hard to find.

     

    According to her, Ozo wanted to settle differences with her always and hated to see her angry because he was in love with her.

     

    Nengi said: “You have to be an amazing person and I have to know you’re real and Ozo is that kind of person and hard to find.

    “Ozo is too good for this world, who would not want to be with him.

     

    “I’m so angry we fought so much throughout the week. Ozo likes me so much and does not want to see me angry.”

    Vee during a chat with Laycon about her relationship with Neo, said she‘s shocked she has not had sex in the house because it’s been very difficult.

    According to her, she has been so close to having sex with her lover, Neo severally.

    She said they came close to having sex several times but he always stopped just before it escalated.

    Vee tells Laycon: “You need discipline not to have sex, it’s so hard not to have sex in this house.

    “I and Neo came close to having sex, he stops mostly before we begin and I’m thankful for that.”

    Vee had earlier described the development as astounding, promising to stand by Neo always.

    Both housemates, obviously the only surviving relationship in the lockdown house, were seen holding tight and locking lips as a way to celebrate their success.
