    Nigerian content creator, Abdulgafar Ahmad also known as Cute Abiola has opened up about some of the challenges he faced balancing his creative career with life in the Nigerian navy.

    The internet sensation in a recent interview on HipTV, said his time in the navy was “the most critical part of my life” as he often worked six days a week but still managed to produce and release content.

    The skit maker explained that despite his tight schedule, he remained committed to his goals. 

    He said, “I’ve done a lot of things that were more tough than my current situation. I used to be in the Nigerian navy.

    “That time was the most critical part of my life, and I was still able to achieve shooting content and being in the navy. That was very, very hard.

    “I used to be at work from Mondays to Saturdays most times, and all my contents still used to be out there. In a week, I used to post twice or three times.

    “I’m a very dedicated person because I know that I’m supposed to meet a target in my revenue. I have a target for myself, and I used that to motivate myself to make more than I made the previous month.”

    Popular Nigerian content creator Kuye Adegoke, widely known as Egungun of Lagos, has reacted to his viral explicit video which has sparked widespread reactions on social media.

    The video which began circulating  on social media, captured the moment Egungunwho was on a video call with an unidentified woman while brushing his teeth accidentally pulled down his briefs,  exposing his private parts.

    The video surfaced on social media shortly after his wife, Pashotah, disclosed a blackmail attempt involving a private video of her husband.

    Recall, that Pashotah, via her Instagram story,  on Sunday raised an alarm over a  blackmailer reaching out to her, issuing threats to release the video unless specific demands were met.

    In her statement, Pashotah who asserted how she had previously ignored similar incidents,  defended their marriage, insisting they were united despite the blackmail threats.

    The video has sparked reactions with many users condemning the content creator for such behaviour despite being marrried

    Seemingly unbothered by the backlash, Egungun took to Instagram to share a lighthearted post.

    The video features him dancing energetically with a woman in his living room to ‘Gimme Love’ by Zlatan and Olamide.

    He captioned the clip, “That’s massive baby but still give me your love baby.”

    Nigerian content creator and skit maker Muhammad Gilmore Adekunle, popularly known as Gilmore, has expressed the view that Nigerian content creators show more significant support than Nigerian musicians.

    Gilmore, during a recent interview with Hip TV, attributed this collaborative spirit to being an essential factor contributing to Nigerian content creators’ outstanding success.

    He believes that this mutual support is the key and the reason why content creators in Nigeria are experiencing and gaining favourable outcomes in their chosen paths.

    He said, “Content creators enjoy massive success because it (the content creating industry) is more supportive than the music industry”.

    The skit maker emphasized the crucial role social media plays in their accomplishments, pointing out that audiences prefer consuming content on their mobile devices rather than the television.

    “This is 2024; everybody is on their phone. People no longer watch TV. You can make money off social media,” he further said.
