    23-year-old Nigerian lady nabbed with ₦2 million, pistol, drugs In Kogi

    A 23-year-old woman, Charity Williams was arrested by the Kogi State Police Command of the Nigeria after she was found in possession of cash, hard drugs, and firearms in the Okene Local Government Area of the state.

    TheNewsGuru.com(TNG) reports that Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), William Aya in a statement on Friday disclosed that the arrest was carried out by operatives attached to the Okene Division following an intelligence-led raid.

    The police spokesman further disclosed that the operation, which took place at a hotel in Oguda village, Okene, was based on a tip-off that a suspected criminal was hiding at the lodge.

    “During the raid, one Charity Williams, aged 23, was arrested. Recovered from the room were one locally made Barretta pistol, the sum of ₦2,047,300, six rounds of 9mm live ammunition, hard drugs, an axe, and four mobile phones,” Aya said.

    The PPRO further revealed that the room where the items were recovered had been booked by Christopher Kadiri, who is now on the run.

    “Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the fleeing suspect, while investigation continues,” he added.

    A Nigerian lady, identified as Jennifer, seen in the viral courtroom video, in which a man named Emmanuel sued her for allegedly breaking a promise after he sent her transport fare has broken her silence.

    According to Jennifer, Emmanuel was only an online acquaintance, and they had never met in person. She went on to explain that he had pressured her to travel from Asaba to Abuja to see him, despite her initial refusal.

    She said,“Before Emmanuel sent that money to me for transportation, I told him he should come over to my city. He said no, that he cannot visit a woman. Out of the blue, this guy just sent me #50,000, saying it was transport fare to come and see him. Where will #50,000 take me from Asaba to Abuja?”

    She went on saying that, after she didn’t make the trip, Emmanuel and his friends allegedly began issuing threats over the money.

    She added that she later offered to return the money, but he rejected it and became upset. She asked, “What if I had gone there and something happened to me? You people would still blame me, Women don’t insist in staying one place, you people will still talk. What do you really want?”.

    Jennifer went on to say that she eventually repaid Emmanuel #450,000, as ordered by the court, not just the #50,000 circulating on the internet.

    A yet-to-be-identified young woman has narrated a horrific hookup experience with two men who raped her after refusing to pay.

    In the video that surfaced on social media on Thursday, the lady shared her experience of meeting a man on a hookup site.

    She mentioned that after their initial meeting, he requested her to bring some friends along, as he wanted to engage in a group encounter.

    She added that when they were done with the act and requested for their money, the men refused to pay and insisted they wanted to have more s3x until the next morning.

    The lady recounted how they had sex with them and started to beat them after they demanded payment for the service given.

    She narrated how her friends managed to escape, but she was unfortunate as they caught her and took turns on her again.

    Nigerian woman recalls traumatic ordeal in ‘kidnappers’ den

    A Nigerian lady based in Abuja,  Nka Jess Nka, who was kidnapped by gunmen, has narrated her ordeal after regaining her freedom.

    TheNewsGuru reports Jess, alongside her aunt and other victims was abducted last year

    In a Facebook post on Friday, February 21, 2025, she recalled how the kidnappers killed her aunt in her presence.

    “My heart is full of pain today because today is the day that you were killed auntie, right in front of me, I’m here typing and wishing I had the power to protect you from those heartless kidnappers but it is beyond my power,” she wrote.

    “I wish it is something I could fight to win but is beyond just a fight. Keep resting. To anyone that is hands is involved in our kidnapping, they will never go unpunished. God will fight for our family and bring healing to our hearts thou is not easy, I miss you greatly dear auntie, hmmmmmmmm life. It’s well.”

     In an initial Facebook post on January 30, 2025, she shared photos taken after regaining her freedom and wrote.

     “Lord I’m here to thank you for showing me mercy, thank you for keeping me alive , I want to also thank everyone of you for ur prayers and support during the time of my kidnapped. I didn’t take it for granted, is a year now, thank God for my freedom, waking up today in my bed is a testimony and to my aunty that couldn’t make it alive I’m in tears every now and den, I miss her greatly.”

    Dora Chichah, the wife of a Nigerian reverend father, Daniel Okanatotor Oghenerukevwe, who was suspended from priestly duties following their alleged marriage in America, has recounted how she met her husband.

    TheNewsGuru recalls that the Catholic Diocese of Warri in Delta State suspended Oghenerukevwe from priestly duties after he married his wife, Dora Chichah, at the Stream of Joy Church in Dallas, USA.

    The suspension was contained in a statement titled ‘Decree of Suspension’, dated Thursday, January 16, 2025, and jointly signed by, Rt. Rev. Anthony Ovayero Ewherido, and the Chancellor/Notary, Very Rev. Fr. Clement Abobo.

    A Catholic missionary priest, Fr. Kelvin Ugwu, via his Facebook page on Monday, shared a video of Dora sharing testimony of her marital journey at Pastor Jerry Eze’s Streams of Joy International Church in Dallas.

    The new bride introduced herself as a single mother of three who had prayed for a husband for over nine years, and God answered her prayers.

    She said, “What God cannot do does not exist. We dey pray, e dey show. My name is Dora, and I’m giving my testimony from Streams of Joy, Dallas.

    “Indeed, the lord has shown me mercy. Since 2020, I have been on this altar, believing God for a life partner. I’m a single mother of three and I have been believing God for over nine years for a divine settlement. I kept on praying. I said, God settle me.

     “In July 2021, Pastor Jerry said the Lord has heard you; he said the Lord allowed all that has happened happen to take you to your wealthy place. He is your salvation. In your waiting time, He will build your character.

    “I kept praying. Anytime Pastor Jerry says women in their 30s, women in their 40s, receive your husband. I would dance and I would pray and I was believing God.

    “In 2024, I heard God clearly to relocate from where I was to Dallas, Texas.”

    Dora said she reconnected with the suspended priest, whom she knew from growing up in the same area, and they quickly exchanged contact details.

    She stated that their relationship progressed swiftly, culminating in their wedding, which was not a secret as Daniel informed the Diocese of his decision.

    She added, “He told me stories about how he has been praying for four years for discernment in his vocation. And in my own case, I had been praying too. He said he had been fasting for three months, asking God to give him the woman for him.

    A 27-year-old Nigerian woman, identified as Patricia Masithela has been mauled to death by a pack of starving dogs in Latina, Italy.

    Masithela, had on Monday paid a male acquaintance at his abandoned villa a visit when the dogs pounced on her, killing her at an instance.

    According to Mirror UK, the screams of the deceased who recently moved to Lazio from Nigeria, filled the night, alerting neighbours to help with the savage attack.

    Unfortunately, before she was discovered, the dogs had left deep wounds across her body, as she was seen lying in a pool of blood with deep wounds across her body after the attack.

    The state police, in a bid to intervene, shot two of the dogs, which allowed emergency responders to access the scene while the rest of the pack fled after the gunfire.

    Patricia was then rushed to Santa Maria Goretti Hospital, where she succumbed to her severe bite wounds and excessive blood loss.

    The mother to a five-year-old daughter, has reportedly left her family and friends in unimaginable grief.

    It was gathered that investigations into the incident are ongoing as local authorities work to determine how the reportedly starving dogs came to be in the area.

    A Nigerian lady, Stella, who alleged that she was pregnant for Afrobeats international sensation, Burna Boy many years ago has responded to those calling her ugly.

    It would be recalled that Uju Stella, in a viral video, claimed she was in a three year relationship with Damini Ogulu known as Burna Boy before she became pregnant for him, adding that his mother, Bose Ogulu, scattered the affair that they had.

    In response, the City Boy and on the low crooner agreed to knowing Stella while stressing that she was among the people to doubt his ability in the ‘other room.’

    A video showing the moment a young lady who was tied to be used for rituals in a popular hotel in Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, have surfaced on social media.

    In the viral video, hotel employees immediately came to her rescue after hearing the lady’s screams.

    The young lady, yet to be identified, is seen wholly naked with her hands, legs and neck tied together with a seal tape.

    The hotel staff could be heard saying the woman’s scream had saved her. They also scolded her for going with the man.

    The male guest is pictured trying to remove the seal tape from the lady’s body after he was caught as employees of the hotel scolded him for attempting to use the lady for “rituals”.

    Sharing the video, a Facebook user, Crown prince cautioned women to be weary of the type of men they go out with.

    He said: ‘‘God saved this lady from being sacrific3d today.A lady tied up for ritual in Abuja hotel rescued by hotel staff. That is the boy who tied her up there losing the rope after being cought by hotel staffs.

    A Nigerian lady, identified as Julien has died days after complaining about having a headache which led to brain complications that caused her death.

    According to the X user who shared the sad story on the micro-blogging platform on Thursday, the deceased had just completed her Masters and was on a sponsorship by the NHS.

    He further disclosed that the young lady is survived by her husband and a 5-year-old son, after which urged the public  to take care of their health.

    He wrote: “Sad to loose one of our own yesterday. She just completed her Masters and was on sponsporship by the NHS. A simple headache led to brain complications and, finally death. RIP Julien. She’s survived by her husband and a 5-year-old son. Please check on your health.”

    Nigerian lady, Joyce Ijeoma who attempted to enter the Guiness Book of Records for 72 hours of body massage on individuals has collapsed.

    Ijeoma collapsed at the venue of the event in the Lekki area of Lagos State.

    After doing a total of 50 hours, she collapsed on Tuesday by 1 am.

    Ijeoma was taken for medical attention and is yet to return to the venue and had stopped the live coverage.

    The present holder is Alastair Galpin in South Kalimantan, Indonesia, she set the record in 2015

    The Indonesian lady  currently holds the record for the longest full-body massage in 25 hours and 4 minutes.
