Rising actress, Nkechi Emmanuel made headlines last year when she walked down the aisle with her fiancé .

The excited actress has however stated that she regrets getting married late, adding that marriage is sweet.

According to her:” Marriage feels so good. In fact, I regret that I didn’t go into it early enough. Marriage is so sweet. I will advise all single ladies and guys out there to try and find the right person. There is nothing like having the right person who your heart beats for, all the time. I mean hugs in the morning and night, and then sharing ideas and everything together. Honestly, I regret I got married late. I should have done it a long time ago,” she told The Sun

Nkechi Emmanuel gained prominence in Nollywood when she starred in the series Clinic Matters. The actress, popularly known as Nurse Titi is a force to reckon with in Nollywood.

The Lagos State University graduate who is wrapping up her wedding plans in a chat with journalists noted that Nigerian men came for her, but lacked the qualities she wanted in a man.

According to her: “Nigerian men came for me but they didn’t possess the qualities that I want in a man”.

Speaking on how she met her Briton fiancé she said: “We met on location. The whole thing started like a small feeling, and it later blossomed”.

When asked to state her views about domestic violence she said: “It is 100 percent wrong and I advise people that they should not create a cause for domestic violence to take place.I like to give people opportunities. I won’t just rush out of my marriage, I would take a break and let him realize his mistake”.
