    Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu blast yul Edochie for marrying second wife

    Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has condemned fellow actor, Yul Edochie, after he unveiled his second son with actress, Judy Moghalu, whom he described as his second wife.

    Maduagwu, wrote on his instagram page that it’s morally wrong for a Christian to marry two wives

    The controversial actor said he knew something was spiritually wrong with Yul when he danced ‘Zazu’, insisting that he must build his house before talking of the presidency.

    Good morning he said Yul is the son of veteran actor, Pete Edochie, who is said to be a Knight in the Catholic Church.

    Reacting, Uche wrote: “It is an abomination for a Christian to marry two wives. I knew something was spiritually wrong when you danced Zazu in church.

    “Build your home before you talk of the presidency.”

    He wrote on social media: “It’s time for the world to meet my son. His name is STAR DIKE MUNACHIMSO YUL-EDOCHIE.

    “Born by my second wife @judyaustin1 And I love him so much, just as much as I love my other children.”

    The senior wife of Edochie, who has four children for him, took to the comment section writing: “May God judge you both.”

    Nollywood Actor, Uche Maduagwu has berated his colleague and 2023 presidential aspirant, Yul Edochie, for marrying two wives as a Christian, querying “are you still a Christian?”

    This followed as Yul, on Wednesday, introduced his son from a second wife, Judy Austin, who also is a Nollywood actress.

    According to Uche, the 2023 presidential aspirant should first build his home before talking about becoming a president.

    Yul has made his political ambition known for a long time and most youths had supported him, following calls for a youth president in Nigeria.

    Uche noted that it seems there is trouble in Yul’s family, stressing that he just “made it public that he was cheating on his wife”.

    In his statement, Uche pointed out that it is an abomination for a Christian to take two wives and the news broke him.

    Maduagwu further added that Yul’s first wife, May has a right to take him to court except he has turned into a Muslin or traditionalist.

    He then advised his colleague to build his home before he dreams of becoming president.

    Nollywood actor, Uche Maduawgu, has lambast Genevieve Nnaji for not sending, at least, a congratulatory message to their colleague, Rita Dominic, who had her traditional wedding on Tuesday.

    In his words: “Wetin e go cost you to post a congratulatory message on social media? #wedding.”

    “If you wan smell marriage, attend that of others.”

    He berated Genevieve on Instagram for not attending Rita’s wedding.

    He added: “Whatever you celebrate you go attract, if you Wan smell marriage, attend the marriage ceremonies of others, or at least congratulate dem on social media.

    “Even if you no do am as colleagues, do am as sisters from the same State, even if you dey busy that you can not be there physically.

    Many Nollywood actresses were in Owerri, including Joke Silva, Uche Jombo, Kate Henshaw, and Ini Edo.

    The event took place at Aboh, Mbaise, Imo State, at her late father’s compound, which is of course the home of the traditional ruler of the community, HRH, Eze Marcellenus J.O Waturuocha.

    Rita and her hubby, Fidelis Anosike arrived at her family compound around 1 pm to kick start the traditional marriage.

    BREAKING: Popular comic actor, Dejo Tunfulu is dead

    Popular Nigerian actor and comedian Kunle Adetokunbo, popularly known as Dejo Tunfulu is dead.

    His colleague Kunle Afod broke the news on his instagram page Friday morning.

    Kunle Afod wrote: You still posted this picture recently only for me to hear about your death today. This is so sad,Pressy Tunfulu.Daddy Junior, still cant believe this”

    The cause of his death is still unknown as at the time of filing this report.

    Kunle Adetokunbo popularly known as “Dejo Tunfulu” is a prominent Yoruba comic actor, writer, and producer.

    He was born on 31st of May, 1972 in Idumota, Lagos Island area of Lagos State and hails from Ikija area of Abeokuta in Ogun State. He is known for “Hally The Drummer” (2016) and “Jide Jendo” (2020).

    The actor was aged 49.

    Nollywood actor Karibi Fubara is dead

    Nollywood star, Karibi Fubara is dead.

    A family member of announced the actor’s passing on Wednesday.

    “He was a warrior, now he’s an angel in heaven,” said a social media post by His sister, Stella Fubara, a top official working with the government of Dubai, where the actor had been undergoing cancer treatment for the past year.

     

    The “God calling” actor had been diagnosed with cancer in 2020.

    Karibi, who married popular Nollywood fashion entrepreneur, Yolanda Okereke in 2019, won many hearts in films such as the recent Smart Money Woman and God Calling.

    Veteran Nollywood actor, Olusegun Akinremi, popularly known as Chief Kanran is currently soliciting for help to improve his living conditions after he lost his home to a fire incident in 2017.

    From the video shared online, the veteran actor was a guest on a programme hosted by popular Yoruba radio talk show host, Kola Olootu.

    During the programme, the popular script interpreter narrated how things started working against him when his home got burnt with all studio equipment worth N30million, and wife and children deserted him.

    Amidst hot tears rolling down his cheeks, Chief Kanran noted that he was almost begging on the streets for food but for his status as a star.

    According to him, he is not begging for the money to feed but for some money to start his work again as an artiste again.

    “Seven years ago, things got bad for me. I was not ill and whatever will make me ill and people will start contributing for me, I thank God that it did not happen to me. However, what is currently happening to me is more than being ill. In 2017, my home got burnt from top to down and my wife and children deserted me.”

    “My studio, where all my equipment are, also got burnt. Since the incident happened over a year ago, I have been sleeping in my church as I don’t have money to rent an apartment. Feeding has also been difficult for me. All my four cars are no longer with me. I sold one to feed, one got burnt, another one got knocked,” he said.

    However, Nigerians were already supporting the veteran actor by sending money to his account number while some also promised to come to his aid.

    Laditi, a prince of Soun of Ogbomoso, died in the early hours of Friday after he was rushed to the hospital on Thursday night.

    The 51-year-old actor was said to have been suffering from chronic back pain for some months before his death.

    Those who watched him in the epics like Aye toto; Koto Orun; Ija eleye and so on won’t find it hard to remember a character called Laditi and his brilliant roles in the film industry.

    Femi Oyewumi, an actor and a producer who is a specialist in a stage play, epic, and historic film, started his carrier in the ’80s.

    Ogunojalu Ogbomoso was his last work.

    However, Ajoke Kosemani, a Nollywood actress close to the actor, described his demise as a great loss to the movie industry in Nigeria.

    ‘Halita’ star, Matt Alkali is dead

    Nollywood actor, Matt Alkali is dead. He died from complications resulting from a blood clotting condition.

    According to ‘Halita’ producer, Dimbo Atiya, the 36-year-old actor died from complication resulting from a blood clotting condition while on the set of an epic movie in Abuja.

     

    Atiya confirmed the sad news via a Facebook post where he wrote:

     

     

    “Familiar Grounds Media would like to send our deepest condolences to the family of AKALI MATHEW who played the character of DARENG on the TV Series HALITA.

     

    “He was one of our much-valued cast, who died on the 24th of March 2020. This extremely sad event took place suddenly while he was filming on another set for an Epic movie in a village near Keffi. This has come as a rude shock to us all and we pray that the Lord will grant his family the fortitude to bear this great loss”.

     

    The producer has also debunked the claim that Alkali died after being exposed to the Covid-19 virus while on the set of ‘Halita’.

    Atiya clarified that the actor attempted to manage his health condition via orthodox medicine but recently sought traditional medicine. He was also not on the set of Halita as purported or at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) as he resumed at the location in a village on the outskirts of the FCT on Sunday, March 15, 2020.

It is sad that the facts of this situation have been turned around to mislead the general public on the death of this amazing young actor. MATT ALKALI was not filming on the HALITA set as Familiar Grounds Media officially closed set mon 23rd in conforming with the plea by Govt. All cast and crew of Halita were disengaged. MATT ALKALI had stopped filming about a month ago. 2. The “set” he was working on was a different film project by some independent producers from Masaka in Karu. He was said to be on the location of the project since Sunday. 3. Alkali Matt had blood clot condition for a long time, something he had managed with othordox medcine. But sort local traditional solution recently, I spoke with him on phone just on Sat. 3. He was not at the AMVCA. 4. And even if he had a contact with anyone with COVID 19 here in Abuja he will still be in the incubating period. (If he did come in contact with the virus, it was not on the set of HALITA or through anyone on that project as it is speculated.

     

    5. Kemi as a journalist did not contact me the Executive Producer or Mr Bem the Series Producer for clarifications before going to press with this malicious publication, her journalistic competence at this point is questionable. 6. Untill she has solid proven facts that his death was caused by COVID 19 or he came in contact with anyone with it, this is a figment of her imagination, fiction at best. 7. Familiar Grounds Media offered to carry an autopsy to know what happend to him, his family’s wish was they are not interested, they will like to bury their son in peace. This can be verified from the officials at the FEDERAL MEDICAL CENTER KEFFI which by the way is the hospital he was taken to. I am sure our dear madam journalist did not know that talk more of calling to confirm the facts. 8. MATT ALKALI will be transported home on fri for a burial on Sat.
