    “There’s nothing wrong with me, I am very much alive,” Odule stated.

    “I don’t understand why someone would wish me dead. This is barbaric, uncalled for, and not fair.”

    The actor criticized the blogger for publishing false reports claiming he was arrested for child molestation.

    “For what? What is your problem? Are you alright? Don’t try to bring me down,” Odule added.

    “If you come at me, you’re coming at God because you are not fighting me but God.”

    Nollywood actor, Olumide Oworu has opened up on the motive behind his decision to contest the Surulere Constituency 1 seat at the Lagos assembly in 2023.

    TheNewsGuru reports that the 30-year-old participated in the 2023 general elections under the Labour Party (LP), however, Desmond Elliot, an actor turned politician who contested under the All Progressive Congress (APC), won the constituency seat.

    Speaking on Nollywood On Radio, Oworu, who made his acting debut at six in the drama series ‘Everyday People’, expressed dissatisfaction with the state of the country, adding that many industries and sectors have been on a “downward spiral”.

    The 30-year-old actor who emphasized the need for collective involvement in the country’s affairs said he wants to be part of the change-makers in Nigeria.

    He said, “We just need to be a part of our affairs. I want to live in Nigeria, I want to raise my family in a Nigeria that is good, that is a land of opportunities. I know how things were when I was growing up and it is just sad to see that we are just on a downward spiral.

    “Almost nothing minus the entertainment industry, sports, and a few other industries have anything positive. Everything else just seems to be nosediving and I actually want to be a part of the people that are going to make some form of change in the society.”

    “I just called her one morning and asked if she would marry me and she said Yes.

    “When I wanted to do my first big screen job, Lisabi, I realised that everybody that I felt would stand by me was not there; there was nobody.”

    In the promotional video that surfaced on social media captured the moment the actor kissed Ogunmola passionately. The footage sparked concerns amongst fans who called him out for kissing in such a manner despite being married.

    In his defence, actress Ogunmola noted that Effiong was only being a professional and did not do anything wrong.

    She wrote: “Promotional shoot/content is part of an actor’s contractual obligations. Were there cameras there? Yes, tons of people there? Yes. Was he there as a husband no.. he’s an actor playing a character called adimchi who’s ridiculously in love with murewa. Was he professional yes!”

    Effiong and his wife, Toyosi tied the knot on November 4, 2017, met in August 2016 while working on a project.

    They welcomed their first child, a daughter, in January 2019.

    TheNewsGuru reports that the 59-year-old in a recent interview with Arise TV, further noted that he does not engage in homosexual activities, but do not discriminate against those who are, as he’s more focused on his business and on being a professional

    He said, “I do not bend over, so I cannot react to it. Well if they do bend over, they should keep bending. That is their problem. They are adults, and they have a right to do whatever they want to do. It is none of my business.

    “I am not going to concern myself with that. I do not like those lash backs, I like living my life straightforward, doing my business and being a professional that I am.”

    Posting on his social media page on Saturday, January 4th, the controversial actor expressed his love for Kambili and also stated that he misses him so much.

    He wrote; ‘’Happy 18th birthday, son, Kambi Yul-Edochie. Hope you’re doing well over there, flying with the angels and playing basketball and football.

    I miss you so much.Keep watching over your family. Till we meet again. Forever in my heart, Love you, son.”
