Kunle Remi breaks silence on sleeping with men despite being married to a woman

Kunle Remi, widely recognized for his role in the Netflix series Anikulapo, has broken his silence following allegations of sleeping with the same sex in Nollywood despite being married to a woman.

TheNewsGuru(TNG) reports that a controversial Instagram blog, Gistlover, on Sunday listed Kunle Remi amongst the actors who engaged sexually with other men in the movie industry.

TNG recalls the film star, who had a fantastic 2022, recently revealed the activities of homosexuals in the Nigerian movie industry.

The blog alleged that despite speaking out about these activities, the actor also indulges in homosexuality with other actors.

In reaction, the actor via his Instagram page on Sunday night warned ‘followers who come with negativity from a blog’ threatening to block them.

He further urged his followers to be careful of negativity energy they absorb.

His post reads: “This page is for light and good vibes. I am not desperate for followers or engagement. If you come with darkness and negativity from a blog to my page, DMm or phone.. be it a friend, fan or family , I will block you.  I respect my space and energy tremedously that’s why i dont see all this nonsense normally. My boundaries are very clear. Love, light and Things.

“Sunday message: Be careful how much negativity you absorb. People have unknowingly bound themselves to spirits that contaminate good soil (for some its followed generations). Even those who contribute to the spread and growth of negativity (I.e., laugh, comment etc.) have said YES to being in bed with a vile spirit and therefore reaping whatever it will bring. Practically speaking, the internet never forgets and many have suffered economic and family consequences years later. Bottom line: Recklessly protect light and positivity and unsubscribe from darkness.”

  • Emeka Ike reveals how former president, Jonathan’s N3 billion Nollywood fund flopped

Emeka Ike reveals how former president, Jonathan’s N3 billion Nollywood fund flopped

Veteran actor Emeka Ike has brought to light significant concerns about the management of funds allocated to the Nigerian film industry.

Emeka, during a recent interview, opened up on an N3 billion naira fund introduced to the movie industry during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Launched in March 2013, the N3 billion initiative, “Project Nollywood”, was a significant step towards revitalizing Nigeria’s film industry.

Before the initiative, Nollywood was ridiculed for low-quality content, which affected the growth in production and sales.

At the time, the initiative aimed to assist filmmakers by providing grants for film scripts that supported skill development and improved industry infrastructure.

According to the veteran, many movie makers could not access the funds, as it was alleged that the funds were unfairly distributed to a selected few.

There have been other cases of funding concerns in the industry.

In 2010, Jonathan’s administration announced a $200 million (N32 billion) revolving loan scheme which also faced criticism due to accessibility issues.

The movie star emphasized that the lack of structures and unity in the industry were the critical factors contributing to the poor distribution of funds.

Emeka also advocated for stronger governance and the establishment of formal industry frameworks, to prevent similar issues in the future.

He noted that one of the factors hindering proper fund allocation, is the lack of accountability arguing that the process could have been more transparent and equitable if the government had engaged with industry bodies like the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) or the Theatre Arts Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN).

“Moving forward, I would advice that if we have structures like AGN, NANTAP, ANTP, and AMP, the government should consider releasing such funds after establishing a relationship with the bodies representing us,” Emeka said.

He concluded, “Dealing with individuals like me or Uncle Bob Manuel alone is not enough. It should be an industry-wide process with a clear framework representing all of Nollywood.”

How I lost my girlfriend to another woman – Nollywood actor Arukwe recounts painful experience

Popular Nollywood actor, Uzor Arukwe has recounted how he lost his girlfriend to another woman.

The movie star during a recent interview with media personality, Mr Mautin, explained how he was out with his woman when another woman started making passes at her.

According to the A Tribe Called Judah star, he felt it was nothing, but when his girlfriend left for the restroom, the other lady followed her and tried to kiss her.

Speaking further, Arukwe said that the woman exchanged numbers with his woman and after a while, his babe told him, she wanted to spend the weekend with this lady.

The Nollywood star disclosed that his relationship began to go down the drain from then onward.

He added that the experience made him weary of seeing girls together who claimed to be friends.

In his words;‘’We were dating and she fell in love with another woman. I could see what the girl was doing to her and she was telling me ‘Babe, are you seeing what this girl is doing?’ and I was like ‘Yeah’. Then my girl goes to the loo. The girl follows my babe and my girl comes out and she rushes back and she was like ‘This girl tried to kiss me in the bathroom” and I was like ’ Did you kiss her back?’ and she was like ‘No!’. But I could tell it was a new experience for her. It was fresh. The girl came back, she was feminine. She wasn’t really a stud.

“She was a woman and she had done this too many times and she knew that that girl was going to fall for her because she came back and she looked at me d#ad in the eye and she was like ‘Hi, what’s up? Can I get a drink?”.

“She was very confident. She wasn’t a guy and so I wasn’t going to accost her and ask what are you doing with my girl.

“I just thought it was nonsense and that this was going to d!e on arrival. Two weeks down the line, I saw two of them talking more and more on the phone, giggling…The next thing I heard was I am going to spend the weekend with this girl and I am like what about me? She was like she had been with me since and that she was like she just wanted to go and spend a harmless holiday with this girl. And that was it. After that holiday, the next thing I started seeing was ‘the way I screamed’, ‘the way you did this’, and ‘you finished me’ We just started having a lot of arguments about it”

    When asked how it made him feel to see it was a woman who ‘snatched’ his babe from him, Uzor said;

‘’I felt very…if it was a guy, we fit throw blow…I would hardly fight for a woman unless it’s worth it but I mean if it was a guy, I would have accosted him and said that’s my girl, what are you doing with my girl?  What am I going to tell her? I would go and tell a girl to leave my woman alone? I didn’t know how to go about it.

“For the longest time, I couldn’t talk to girls because If I saw a girl, I would assume that they were dating. I just didn’t like them. I was weary of them because it hit home. It hit my core”
