    Nollywood actress, Sharon Ooja on Thursday, disclosed that she got engaged after two-and-a-half months of dating.

    The actress who married her lover, Ugo Nwoke, traditionally in Abuja made this known in an interview with Bella Naija.

    According to the actress, her sister had introduced her to Nwoke, and despite initial reservations, they connected deeply.

    She added that their romance spanned just two-and-a-half months, culminating in a proposal.

    She said, “My love story is one that I’ll say is short of a miracle. I had just recovered from what I considered the worst heartbreak of my life, and I was filming, and my sister had said to me a friend of hers wanted to speak to me and I was like I wasn’t in the mood.

    “I didn’t want to talk to anybody. Anyway, she gives this person my number and he is really smart. I was like, who is this person, and we probably didn’t speak as much as we should.

    “Months passed he kept on trying to reach me, and I was like, this guy is really persistent. We kept on having really cute conversations, and one day, there was just one conversation that struck me. We spoke for about three hours. I was like I think I like this guy.

    “I travelled and realised that he hadn’t called me in like two days, I was like why didn’t uou call me, and he was like you told me you were going to go out and have fun and I was like yeah, I’m single and he was like I didn’t I want you to be single no more.

    “We dated for literally two-and-a-half months, and I was engaged in the third month. And we married two months after there.”

    Nollywood Actress Sharon Ooja has finally unveiled the face of her husband as they traditionally tie the knot today, June 27, in Abuja.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that the talented movie star, whose traditional wedding was ongoing at the time of this report, made headlines some months back, over her secret engagement, in which her man’s face was covered after photos emerged online.

    However, in the video posted today, the actress delighted her fans with her husband’s looks, with both of them dressed in a traditional attire.

    Taking to her Instagram, Sharon captioned the video, “Introducing the King of my heart, my absolute King!!!!! #loveuniteus24 #crazyaboutus24.”

    One of her bridesmaids, actress Ini Dima-Okojie, shared a picture of herself on Instagram looking stunning in her wedding attire. She captioned the post, “We are shutting it down for my girl @sharonooja and her boo. I love you so muchhh. Our Igbo Bride!!!! The most GORGEOUS bride… Odogwu Silencer take it away!!!!”

    Also actress Bisola Aiyeola, the chief bridesmaid, showcased her stylish outfit in an Instagram post captioned, “The ChiefBrides Maid Reporting for Duty Dearsssss”.

    Another bridesmaid and colleague, Jemima Osunde, also shared pictures of herself in her attire on her Instagram page, captioning it, “Ready to get my sis traditionally MARRIED @sharonooja today is for youuuuuu and your boo my sister. I am so so happy.”

    On June 18, Sharon shared a video showing fun and intimate moments from her bridal shower. The bridal shower held on June 15 and themed ‘Disco and Diamonds,’ saw Ini, Jemima, Bisola, Beverly, and many others in attendance.

    Friends, family, and loved ones came together to celebrate the beloved actress, making it a memorable occasion.

    Akindele who emphasized the importance of producing and consuming meaningful content, advised content creators on the need to produce content that can positively influence lives.

    She said, “I enjoy watching beautiful content, but you have to watch what you churn out. You need to focus on your brand, what you’re selling, what you want people to learn from you.

    “If you’re an actor, a self-made person, what are you churning out? You must influence lives positively with the content you churn out. And for you that are watching content, are you watching to be entertained, to learn? ‘A’ is carrying designer bag and showing you on video, how sure are you that’s she’s not borrowing the bag? How sure are you she’s rich? Don’t believe everything on social media.

    “I’m so worried about these so-called baddies. A baddie without showcasing what you have upstairs? We need to know what you are doing, what positive content you are doing that people would be proud of. Give us that on the table. Yes, it’s good to showcase fashion. But what do you have upstairs to show us? Are you just a baddie for mouth? Even is you are a dancer, what else do you have?”

    The actress’s heartfelt message to her son is coming days after her husband and famous Yoruba movie marketer, Adeoti Kazim partied hard with his first wife, Olufunso Benson in America.

    Recall, Kazim had via his Instagram page shared photos of himself and his friends at the wedding ceremony of one of his friend daughter’s wedding spraying his first wife with hard currency.

    Although, Mercy was indifferent about the controverisal video, netizens mocked her over her husband’s display with his first wife.

    Juwon was born from Mercy’s previous marriage to hotelier Lanre Gentry. The actress also has a daughter named Michelle.

    Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, has responded to those calling her out over controversial message on Father Day.

    It would be recalled that the actress on Father’s day shared a heartfelt message, quoting Proverbs 23:24, and wishing “responsible fathers” a happy Father’s Day.

    She wrote; “The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice , and he who sires a wise child will have joy in him. Proverb 23: 24 AMP. Happy father days to all the responsible fathers here.God’s strengh favour and blessings will continues to abound.”

    However, the post did not sit well with many men who called her out, pointing out that she didn’t use the term “responsible” in her mother’s Day message, sparking debate.

    Several male celebrites have since replied the actress over the post.

    In response to the criticisms via her handle on the microblogging platform, Henshaw on Monday made no apology for her father’s day statement. She added, that her tweet stands as an encouragement to responsible fathers..

    She wrote: “Good morning Nosa, thank you for your tweet. I only respond because of your demeanour.

    “I do have the right to tweet what I want on any given day, and my tweet stands as an encouragement to RESPONSIBLE fathers.

    “Others can tweet what they want on any given day, too. I have never deleted any tweet since I have been on this app, even when some rugrats tried the ruse, which failed. My tweet remains.

    “Words only have an effect if they are true. Abuses have absolutely no effect on me and mine. Do have a blessed week ahead.”

    Popular Yoruba actress and comedian, Ramota Adetu, popularly known as Aunty Ramota has dismissed the swirling rumour that she went into a coma following an alleged failed Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery.

    TheNewsGuru.com reports that small-sized actress made this known in a video that surfaced on Wednesday.

    Aunty Ramota in the trending video is seen eating, after which showed off her full body while claiming that nothing was wrong with her.

    Speaking in the Yoruba language to dispel the rumour, Aunty Ramota said, “My lovers, thank you, nothing happened to me. This is my body.”

    Recall that some online platforms (not TNG) reported that the actress had undergone the BBL surgery to enhance her appearance.

    In a now-viral video, a lady who appeared to be Ramota was seen carried around by medical personnel in a yet-to-be-identified hospital in Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

    Ramota, who is known for her comedic roles, appeared unconscious in the footage as she was seen breathing through an oxygen mask.

    The rumours sparked concerns among her fans who reached out to Ijoba Lande for clarification.

    Reacting to the speculation via Instagram, the comedian and on-screen ‘husband’ of Aunty Ramota, Ganiyu Kehinde, popularly known as  Ijoba Lande, said he was unaware she underwent surgery.

    The skit maker argued that rumours about Aunty Ramota undergoing butt surgery and falling into a coma are “false”.

    She, however, condemned women’s financial demands from men who desire to date them.

    She said, “I wouldn’t say it’s right (to make financial demands from men). But, I like to chase men away (from me) by making financial demands. For example, after telling some men that one is not interested in a relationship with them, they would still keep sending one lots of messages daily, professing how they love and care for one, even when most of what they are saying are lies. Many of them, especially married men, just want to sleep with one. That can be disturbing and exhausting for me. So, instead of blocking them, I use financial demands to chase them away. One won’t see their ‘brake light’ after that.”

    On what she considers the most challenging role she has ever played, Peju said, “That would be the role I played in the movie I produced titled, ‘Payback’. I played the role of a tout. I did not believe I could play the role, and it was really challenging for me. But, with the help of the director, I pulled it off.”

    Asked about the biggest sacrifice she had ever made for love, the actress said, “Many years ago, my former boyfriend, who I thought I would settle down with, asked me to stop my acting career for his sake. He did not want me to be an actress, because he is a jealous type. He wanted me only to himself. And, I actually quit acting because of him. But, he ended up cheating on me and impregnated someone else. Thereafter, we broke up and I went back to acting.”

    Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar on Wednesday broke down in tears while giving an update regarding her health challenges.

    The actress via her Instagram account appreciated God for keeping her alive despite battling with an unknown illness.

    Though she didn’t reveal the nature of her sickness, she appreciated well wishes, family and friends who supported her and checked on her during her challenging time.

    Abubakar, who broke down in tears, said it was God who saved her from what the devil meant to harm her.

    She said, “What I have been through only me and myself can say it. I just want to use this opportunity to thank all those people who have been there for me,” she said.

    “Those ones that did not run or reject me, those that did not criticise or judge me because it can be anybody. Well I thank God that what the devil means to harm me, God used it to keep me alive so that I can see, so that I can learn, so that I can be thankful for being alive.

    “What I have seen in my life is not something that I can share. My face is actually really badder than this but I just used you know filter but I am not here for pity party.

    “I am just here to say God is good, God has saved me and those who I did not understand why they did not check up on me and visit me, I am very very sorry because I did not know I am not just the one with problems, everybody is dealing with one thing. I am here today to say thank you, God bless you. To those who have been there, may God enrich you.”

    This comes after the sexy actress was captured with an unusually white face, stirring the speculation that she may be bleaching her skin.

    The video which features the actress sitting on a bench outdoors, introducing a dating game show to her online fans was originally uploaded on her Instagram handle on May 3.

    However, Netizens were more concerned and focus with her looks than what she was saying.

    Baring his mind on the video, an Instagram user named King Khalil wrote, “Omooor bbl and bleaching…this girl old age go bad gan.”

    Imafidon Genevieve wrote, “Who do Moyo like this? Bleaching nor good o.”

    Another netizen Jennifer Onuoha wondered, “Is her face not too white?”

     Msfisheer wrote; “Not trying to sound like a troll but some of y’all need to know when to stop bleaching your skin before you vanish out of the surface of Earth.”

In 2016, the sexy actress debunked similar claims, insisting she had a secret to glowing skin. “P.S am totally brown skinned, I just really glow like a lot… Hence when light touches me I eeem shimmer,” she wrote at the time.
