    Popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson-Okojie has disclosed what being alive has done to her.

    The beautiful actress and mother of four  shared her perspective on revenge, saying that rather than seeking vengeance, she simply desires distance from certain individuals and move on.

    The movie star said she has been struggling with her reality lately.

    On her Instagram story, Okojie wrote: “Life has humbled me so much and with recent happenings, I simply can’t comprehend a lot of things.

    “I wish bad on no one, neither do I want revenge. I just want a lot of people to stay away from me.”

    Nollywood actress and producer, Toyin Abraham has bragged about being the best in the world.

    Abraham bragged about being the best in the world while granting an interview with skit maker, Bae U Barbi,she explained that the title wasn’t a self-proclaimed one, stressing that fans gave her the title.

    She said the title of “world best” suits her because her acting and beauty are top-notch.

    Abraham said, “I didn’t call myself [the world’s best actress], people called me word best because I am the world’s best.

    “My confidence is top-notch, my beauty is top-notch, my brain is top-notch, my acting is top-notch. So, I am world best. I didn’t call myself, they [fans] called me and I claimed it.”

    The actress also admitted during the interview that the entertainment industry favours women more than men.

    According to her, female entertainers are more successful than their male counterparts because they are “very emotional”.

    She added that her latest film, ‘Malaika’ is her most expensive movie, saying she paid veteran actor, Emeka Ike and others millions to feature in the movie.

    Nollywood actress Ini Obong Edo has revealed why she is still single at  the prime age of 41.

    According to thespian, she’s still single because she has been unable to find love.

    In a recent episode of Toke Makinwa’s podcast, the thespian explained that she can’t be in a toxic relationship.

    She said, “I am still single because I just want somebody that would really love me. That’s all. I’m not asking for too much.

    “Not like I don’t see love. Loving somebody and being loved are two different things. You can love someone but you are not ready to be committed. Maybe this is why I’m still single: I can’t be in a toxic relationship.

    “If you cannot give me that protective energy that allows me to respect you… I can not be with a man that I don’t respect. If you can not earn my respect, then we cannot be together. Because what’s the point? When it gets to the point when I start to disrespect you, that means you have brought yourself down to a point where I begin to talk back at you. Sometimes, it’s not even about having money. It’s about how you are able to love and manage situations and the people around you. Kindness!”

    Recall that Ini Edo got married to an American-based businessman, Philip Ehiagwina on November 29, 2008, but the couple separated in 2013 after five years of living together.

     

    In 2021, the actress announced the arrival of her first child, a girl through surrogacy.

    Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe reveals why she converted to Islam

    Beautiful Nollywood actress,  Mercy Aigbe has finally given reasons why she converted to Islam after practising Christianity for years.

    Aigbe converted to Islam following her marriage to filmmaker Kazeem Adeoti in  the year 2022.

    However, the actress while granting interview on TVC revealed that she converted to Islam because of her love for her husband.

    Aigbe, now known as Hajiah Amminah, said her husband’s love is enough for her and his first wife to share.

    She said: “I love my husband so much. I don’t think any woman would have gone through what I went through if it wasn’t for love. I didn’t have to. I meant I’m comfortable; I have kids. So, it is because of love that I remarried.

    “I’m such a lover girl. I’m very emotional. I love love. I just decided on my own to convert to Islam because I love my [Muslim] husband so much. When it comes to religion, I’m a very liberal person. I love my husband so much and he is a very religious person. So, I just felt that after COVID-19, I was already struggling with going to church so I just decided to follow my husband’s religion.

    “Converting to Islam made our bond tighter and sweeter. And it’s exciting for me because I’m learning the religion [Islam] and at the end of the day, we are serving one God.”

    After experiencing two failed marriages, popular Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare has announced her third marriage on social media.

    This is following her recent announcement in a post on her Instagram page on Monday.

    Recall that the actress had previously married to Olumide Kunfulire with whom she shares a daughter named Simi, born in 2008.

    In 2013 Bakare tied the knot for the second time with a Lagos socialite, Tunde Oriowo and had two sons together.

    However, announcing her upcoming third marriage ceremony, the actress shared a video of herself and her husband-to-be.

    Captioning the clip, she wrote: “Love is a beautiful thing. Join us this Saturday, December 2nd at AMORE GARDEN Lekki phase 1 by 5pm. I can’t wait to host you.”

    Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus finally opens up on relationship status

    Beautiful Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus has finally opened up on her relationship status.

    According to the actress, she has not been flaunting her boyfriend and wealth simply because she doesn’t have them.

    The chubby actress has since deleted the post on her instagram story.

    However, the post reads before she deleted, “Two things I don’t post on social media.

    “My boyfriend and money.

    “Not that I don’t want to show, but I don’t have them.”

    Badmus broke into the limeglight at the dawn of the new millennium but shot to fame in 2008 after starring in two Yoruba movies, ‘Jenifa’ and ‘Omo Ghetto.’

    Since then, she has featured in dozens of Nollywood and Yoruba movies and won a slew of on-the-job commendations, including Best Actress of the Year (Yoruba) at the 2014 City People Entertainment Awards, and Best Comedic Act at the 2015 Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards.

    In 2021, Eniola Badmus made headlines after sharing stunning photos of her body transformation, revealing that she had lost weight.

    She was also made head of APC entertainment comittee during 2023 electioneering.

    SAD: Nollywood actress, Iyabo Oko is dead

    Veteran Nollywood actress, Sidikat Odukanwi, popularly known as Iyabo Oko, is dead.

    Actress Foluke Daramola-Salako confirmed her death when she wrote on her Instagram page: “And finally we lost her… RIP Iyabo Oko. We did our best but God knows best.”

    Similarly, her daughter Bisi Aisha, a female soldier, confirmed her mother’s death.

    “May your soul Rest In Peace mummy,” she said.

    Before her demise, the 61-year-old actress battled with ill-health which caused her to take a long break from the movie scene.

    Odukanwi was born on the 15th of November 1960 in Iwo local government area of Osun state.

    She was known by stage names such as “Iyabo Oko” “Apoti Aje” Sisi Mama.”

    Last year, one of her daughters, Olamide, disclosed that her mother was diagnosed with Ischemic stroke about five years ago.

    Nollywood actress, Margaret Bandele Olayinka, popularly known as ‘Iya Gbonkan’ has been gifted 5 Million naira and a brand new car from one of her fans.

    Recall that recently, the aged actress begged her fans for car, saying she has been acting for years but still jump buses and cab to location.

    Iya Gbonkan called on her fans to celebrate her now that she is still alive and not wait to kill a cow when she is dead.

    Days after her cry out, the veteran received about N5 million from Nigerians. A certain Pastor Gabriel paid her a visit in Osogbo and began sourcing funds from kind-hearted people all over the world for Iya Gbonkan towards a car and house project.

    In a fresh update, a fan identified as Mrs Omobolanle Olatise single-handedly donated a car to Iya Gbonkan, asides the earlier N5 million donation.

    In the video which captured the heartwarming moment the veteran was handed the car key, as she posed for photographs with it.

    On receiving the vehicle, she got into it and posed happily. She prayed heartily for her fan while seating comfortably in the driver’s seat.

    Veteran actresses, Abeni Agbon and Tamotiye who reportedly live nearby Iya Gbonkan’s home in Osogbo were also present to share her joy.

    According to the actress, she has always thought power was stable abroad especially South Africa.

    Afegbai shared her unsavoury experience in South Africa during a live session via her Instagram page.

    She said, “Any small thing them go take light oh; four hours, six hours. They go tell you say them go take am at intervals, them go dey send you messages. They come give am one name say na load shedding. Wetin you dey shed for the load? NEPA take light abi NEPA no take light?

    “And wen dem take this light for here, no network, data everything no dey work. I go cinema dey watch movie dem take light…And for house, dem no get generator except like all these proper established places.

    “Our own [for Nigeria] sef if light goes off we dey get network but here you no fit communicate, you no go get network. For my house [in Nigeria] even if them take light, I go on my gen. But here no gen to on…
    The last one wey happen, I no when, I don dey darkness since, I dey wait to watch TV, my phone, everything don off, as dem bring light, I just go outside ‘NEPA don bring light oh!’. My neighbour come dey look me like say I dey mad.”

    According to Falegan who  was once dated another actress  Nkechi Blessing revealed his intention to marry Etiko if she’s truly a virgin at 33.

    Reacting via his Instagram page on Sunday, Falegan said he would marry the curvaceous thespian if only she is truly a virgin.

    He claimed Eitko has the “best shape in Nollywood and quite outspoken and well educated,” adding that she is his kind of woman.

    He said before people think the actress was lying about her virginity status or “can’t fit into Ekiti First Lady”, they should remember that he “had a purpose before anyone had an opinion.”

    Falegan said should the dream wedding come true, it would be officiated by Daddy Freeze.
