    Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie, has taken to social media to share her new terms and conditions for men seeking a romantic relationship or marriage with her, shortly after a recent heartbreak.

    The movie star via her Instagram story on Tuesday night disclosed that any man interested in having a relationship or getting married to her, must pay a billion Naira before they begin their love journey today

    The controversial actress whilst recalling a conversation with her male friend, said she is unbothered if people say she is selling her love.

    She wrote, “A male friend of mine said, “Angela, any guy wey go date or marry you, we go investigate am for 2 years before you go gree. We go to his family house, we go know him mama, we go know him papa, we go know his siblings, we go find out whether they get madness for their family.

    “He will pay an artist’s fee every day before he talks to you; otherwise, we no go gree o, because a lot of these people really make plans before coming close to you.

    “Everybody wan blow by force. And I believe him, So note that before dating or marriage, you will pay a billion naira before the relationship. I don’t care if people say I’m selling my love. Yes, I am selling my love. Maka Ndi iberibe adigo too much.”

    Angela’s condition comes shortly after her relationship with Oil Money ended. Although the cause of their breakup was unclear, but several online reports alleged that their relationship collasped due to multiple issues, including mutual accusations of infidelity.

    Oil Money claimed that Angela was unfaithful and suggested that her interests were driven by luxury and material gains.

    He also alleged that he spent over N300 million on her before she walked away. In contrast, Angela reportedly accused him of cheating on her with her colleagues and labeled him a liar and manipulator.

    Esther Oluwaseun Titilope Odeniyi, a fast-rising Nollywood actress better known as Berry White, has passed away.

    TheNewsGuru reports that a colleague of the deceased, Nollywood actress Bakare Zainab shared the heartbreaking news on her Instagram page on Friday, June 20th.

    According to the actress, White reportedly collapsed in her apartment, which led to her death. She further urged anyone who knows her family to get in touch.

    I broke down for weeks – Funke Akindele opens up on struggles with personal loss

    Nollywood actress cum filmmaker,  Funke Akindele has opened up on dealing with personal losses involving her single motherhood, and her unsuccessful political campaign and marriage.

    In an interview on the WithChude podcast, the award-winning actress shared how these challenges pushed her to a breaking point.

    Akindele, who often takes pride in being a strong woman who doesn’t dwell on pain, admitted that the passing of her mother in 2022, coupled with online bullying, left her feeling emotionally shattered.

    The 47-year-old Lagos-born movie producer revealed that she cried for weeks as the weight of her failed marriage, raising her children alone, and her political defeat became overwhelming

    “I do not like to mourn. I remember when my mum passed away. I just wanted to get out of it quickly. I like to get out of situations quickly. I do not allow myself to break down, and it affected me after my mum’s death because I was always ready to move on. ‘Move on, girl’. You are strong,” she said.

    “I was forming (too strong). And it affected me after my mum’s death. And I almost died. It was aching.”

    Akindele said the final straw came when online trolls attacked her over a work-related issue.

    “And something happened online. And for the first time, I took my phone and went live. And I am like, you all should leave me alone. Do I know about this stuff?” she asked.

    “No, this person came to me after my movie. Got paid less. Why are you accusing me of something I did not do? Do you know what I am going through? I lost my mum. The marriage ended. I lost in politics. I have to get back to work. I have to earn a living. I have children I am raising them all. You are stressing me.

    “So for the first time, I cried. I broke down for weeks. I cried. I was alone. I did not want to eat. It is necessary to process this. It is necessary to reflect. It is necessary to cry. It is necessary to break down and come back afresh.”

    Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, the Nollywood actress has taken to social media to lament the Nigeria’s industry’s condition as she compares it to Hollywood.

    Taking to her Instagram page, the legendary actress compared Hollywood and Nollywood, noting the remarkable difference between the two industries.

    While Hollywood gives monthly residuals,  for two test projects done within the space of four days, and Nollywood, on the other hand gives her no residuals despite investing 30 years with over 310 projects.

    After her analysis,  mother of four stated that Nollywood needs structure.

    Patience Ozokwo gives reason for ‘forcefully taking land’ belonging to widow, daughter

    Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwo has broken her silence following a recent allegation of grabbing a ‘family land’ owned by a widow and her daughter.

    It would be recalled that a video of the 66-year-old accusing the respected actress of grabbing a land left to them by her deceased husband, had sparked mixed reactions online.

    However, reacting to the development, Patience via her Instagram page on Tuesday explained that the land in question was legally purchased from the widow 15 years ago.

    “In 2010 – 15 years ago, I bought a piece of land,” she wrote. “The land owner was aware of the sale. In fact, she was the one who approached my agent to help her find a buyer.”

    She added that in 2024, the widow sold a portion of the land to another person without her consent.

    The veteran actress noted that she acted swiftly to secure her property upon discovering the move from the widow.

    “I got information, went and fenced my land,” she said.

    Patience claimed that the widow and her daughter then resorted to social media to falsely accuse her of grabbing the only land left to them by their deceased husband and father.

    “This is blackmail, fraud and malicious intent. I am marvelled that they could viciously lie and castigate me for their own selfish intent. They are using my name to trend and get pity from people,” she said.

    The Everybody Loves Jenifa actress added that some unsuspecting Nigerians had begun donating money to the women and hurling insults at her, unaware of the full story.

    “I see that their plans are working because some people are donating to them and calling me unprintable names,” she wrote.

    The actress expressed deep disappointment, at bloggers who shared the allegations without verifying the information. She stressed that  she has taken legal steps to protect her name.

    “As social media is not a court, I am pursuing legal means to vindicate my name because it took years to build and is my source of livelihood. There is so much more that I could have done, but I chose to let the law take its cause,” she added. “Now I say to you ‘Meet Me in Court’.”

    She also thanked fans and colleagues who reached out in support, saying, “Thank you to everyone who reached out to me on this incident. I appreciate you all.”

    Biola Bayo, the Nollywood actress, has announced the end of her almost three years old marriage.

    The mother of one made this announcement via her verified Instagram page while celebrating her estranged husband and father of her child on his birthday.

    The actress whilst, showering her ex-husband with heartfelt praises and prayers, wished him peace in all his endeavors and asking God to continue guiding his path.

    She went on to refer to him as her ex-husband, revealing to her fans that she has ended her marriage and hopes they will accept her decision.

    “Happy birthday to my ex-husband and my baby daddy. I pray that grace will abound unto you. I pray you find peace in all your ways; may God continue to light your path and bless you beyond your expectations in Jesus’ name.

    “Yes you heard me right! My husband and I have been separated since April last year but we decided to maturely and peacefully co-parent our dear son who means everything to us. To everyone that feels disappointed, I’m sincerely sorry. I wished it worked but it’s better to stay alive to tell the story.
    Please keep us in your prayers.

    “While I go about making other people happy in the day, my pillow is drenched with my own tears almost every night for the past 14 months but I gain strength from Christ who loves me eternally and gave himself for me.

    Biola and her husband, Oluwaseyi Akinrinde got married on April 27, 2021 after reportedly dating for three years.

    The marriage was blessed with a son which they welcomed through a surrogate in April 2023. This was after several failed surrogacy and In Vitro Fertilisation, IVF attempts.

    Nollywood actress, Regina Chukwu has gone down memory lane, opening up on how she lost her husband to tuberculosis three years into their marriage.

    Chukwu during a recent interview with her colleague Biola Bayo, disclosed that she met her late husband, an Anambra native, shortly after finishing secondary school.

    According to the actress, her husband developed tuberculosis due to internal bleeding from a past accident. She added that his health worsened shortly after the birth of their second child.

    The film star, 45, revealed that in an attempt to save him, she accompanied him to his village, where he received treatment at a local health center.

    She said at one point, her husband, overwhelmed by pain, begged her to give him a “death injection”.

    The Enugu-born actress revealed that despite the family’s efforts, he passed away at 28 years old.

    She said, “…I saw practically my father-in-law dragging him. He was dragging him with his two hands. He just said, ‘he is dead’. I was furious. I woke up the next day because I had fainted. I could not say goodbye to him.

    “He was already buried. So, when we finished the burial and everything, his sister said, there is no need for me to return to Lagos. They would rent an apartment or start a business for me in Enugu city.”

    Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has shared her experience with online scammers.

    In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Dikeh recounted how she once bought 12 phones for an online giveaway from an online vendor, who blocked her immediately after she made payments.

    According to the mother of one, she was too ashamed to cry out, rather she narrated her ordeal  to her  two close friends who comforted her.

    The post reads, “I dey here dey claim OG, Let me tell you a little bit of what these little children have used my eyes to see shege banza. I once bought 12 phones from an online vendor,
    Once I paid, I got blocked.

    “I was too ashamed to cry or talk, so I only told @veeveerich and Henry. This was about 3 years ago (phones were for my birthday giveaway that year). Hehehe, them run King Street”.

    Recall, in 2024 Dikeh, alerted the public to a new scam tactic targeting unsuspecting individuals in public spaces. She explained that the scheme involves a scammer falsely accusing an individual of making a fake bank transfer after a purchase.

    Dikeh cautioned that such scenarios could lead to embarrassment, wasted time, loss of belongings, or even physical harm due to the risk of mob action before help arrives.

    She wrote, “New scam alert! Beware: Someone could approach you in public, crying and wailing, accusing you of making a fake transfer for something you allegedly bought. A crowd gathers, tensions rise, and you’re forced to either pay up or rush facing jungle justice.

    “Now imagine the embarrassment, wasted time, potential property loss, or even harm to yourself before any help arrives.

    “Stay vigilant and stay safe because outside is wild these days.”

    The actress via her Instagram on Saturday announced the sad news, revealing that the video-sharing platform logged her out of her account and she doesn’t have access to it anymore.

    The mother of one said she is starting over again as she noted how it isn’t the end of the world.

    Despite the setback, Ruby gave thanks to God as she pleads with her audience to bear with her until a new channel is created.

    She said, “I’m so sorry Fam. I’ve completely lost my YouTube channel meaning YouTube logged me out and I no longer have access to my channel. We can’t upload movies for now, I’m starting all over again.
    It’s not the end of the world, though very painful, but in all, I give God all the glory.

    Nollywood actress Nkechi Nweje laid to rest amid tears in Anambra

    Nkechi Nweje, a veteran Nollywood actress has been buried in Anambra amid tears.

    The 60-years -old was buried at her hometown of Onitsha, Anambra State, after a night of tribute was hosted in honor of the late actress

    Videos that emerged online show moments from the ongoing funeral ceremony in Onitsha as friends and family members could not hold back tears as they bid farewell to the late thespian.

    The venue was surrounded by dignitaries, especially, a former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, who was also present at the funeral.

    Among actors seen at the event went, Ngozi Ezeonu, Ebele Okaro, Stanley Ontop and Chief Imo

    Nkechi Nweje died on March 21 following complications from abdominal surgery she underwent in November 2024.

    Initially believed to be recovering, her condition deteriorated in the days leading to her death.
