    What is next for me, my ex, children – Bolanle Ninalowo

    Nigerian actor and film producer, Bolanle Ninalowo, popularly known as Nino, on Friday confirmed parting ways with his wife, Bunmi.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Ninalowo disclosed the separation from his wife via an Instagram post while revealing that they are headed for an irreconcilable marriage dissolution.

    “My wife and I have decided to go our separate ways and headed for an irreconcilable marriage dissolution,” the Nollywood actor stated via Instagram.

    While asking for privacy and prayers during the dissolution process, Ninalowo disclosed that he and his ex-wife have agreed to jointly take care of their children.

    The Instagram post reads: “Finally, I accept the reality of the End to a Road! A sad reality that gives room & hope for a brighter and more fulfilling future.

    “A reality that is SAD for my loving and adorable children but necessary for a peaceful and loveable future. A sad reality I prayed, nurtured and worked tirelessly hard never to experience for the sake of all.

    “A sad reality I now have to accept as i realize that my kids are much grown with better sense of understanding and knowledge of my pain & struggles regarding them.

    “A sad reality that screams that I won’t live or be around forever and must take care of my health & mental state for the goodness of all.

    “May God help me and reward me with all i truly deserve or punish me for all i have done wrong if that be the case. In the end we will all live with the consequences of our actions. Sad but real and true!

    “Now I have to do and be better for the sake of the same children I fought so hard never to be separated from.

    “The journey thus far only makes me stronger as I come to terms with what I truly need and deserve for all my relentless hard work & efforts in life.

    “Heartbroken but not shattered yet I stand tall as I break this sad but true news to the same world who adores my beautiful family and I.

    “My wife & I have decided to go our separate ways and headed for an irreconcilable marriage dissolution.

    “Please respect our privacy and pray for us during this process as we heal and move on with our independent lives while jointly taking care of what we love most, Our children! God bless all”.

    People talk about my chemistry with Lateef Adedimeji – Actress, Bukunmi Oluwasina

    Nollywood actress, Bukunmi Oluwasina has opened up on her shared onscreen chemistry with her colleague, Lateef Adedimeji.

    Recall that the duo played onscreen lovers in a 2023 Netflix original epic Yoruba film ‘Jagun Jagun’ produced by Femi Adebayo.

    Speaking with The Entertainment Reporter, she said:” This is not the first time people talk about chemistry between Adedimeji and I. Its like that because when there are two actors, who are great actors,  its always very exceptional  and unique when they are paired together”.

    Asked about the growth of Nollywood, she said: “I am happy that Nollywood is getting better every day because so many times I have heard people say ‘I don’t watch Yoruba movies. Now they cannot say it. Because people will tell you the kind of Yoruba movies you are missing. The thing about the movie industry is that once a person sets a pace, a lot of people will try to surpass it. It ends up looking like a competition but at the same time, it develops other people. Its a good thing that our culture and tradition are making its way into our productions”.

    The versatile actress noted that she is happy to be part of the generation where Nollywood is rebranding.

    “It’s a good time for Nollywood in general because I am happy to be part of this generation where  we are finally  rebranding and creating  magical movies. We are telling our stories and representing ourselves in a magnificent way. Now its like everybody wants to shoot a cultural movie .Everybody is doing epic now. Its a good feeling for Nollywood in general, it’s a wake up call. Because no one will tell our stories like us. We are the makers of this stories, they are our stories”.

    Veteran actor, Osuofia reacts to death of 24-year-old daughter

    Veteran Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh, also know as Osuofia, has reacted to the death of his second daughter, Kosisochukwu.

    The 24-year-old passed on after a brief illness on June 28, 2023, and her remains laid to rest on Thursday, August 24, at Amagu village, Udi, Enugu state.

    Reacting on the sad incident, Osuofia extended appreciation to all and sundry for the love and support shown to his family during their moments of grief.

    “I want to thank you all for the support and love shown to me and my family. When tragedy strikes, there is nothing more heartening than knowing that you’re not alone

    “It was with deep gratitude that I received your note, and calls with condolences. We have seen many changes over the years. But this is a change I did not anticipate, and I am feeling an acute sense of loss

    “However, I know that because of your encouragement, I will get through this time. Thank you for helping to push me through my grief,” he wrote on his Instagram page on Monday.

    How poor upbringing made me desperate for love – Nollywood actress, Nwachukwu

    Controversial Nollywood actress, Esther nwachukwu has said that her poor upbringing made her desperate for love.

    She made this known in an interview with Punch, saying not growing up with her parents affected her love life.

    Nwachukwu revealed she grew up with relatives and was maltreated.

    “I did not grow up with my parents. I grew up with relatives, and I was maltreated, and it has affected my love life. In every relationship I have been involved in, I have always needed more love. I just want to be loved.”

    The actress also insisted she had a romantic affair with her married colleague, Pope Odonwodo, stressing they were good friends, but he was not straightforward.

    Asked if she was the one who made advances at him, she said, “I cannot make advances at a man. It is a man who would make advances on me. He knows he cannot reach out to me (since I called him out), because I have blocked him everywhere (on social media).”

    Nwachukwu also stated that she was only joking when she said on social media that she prefers dating married men to single men.

    She said, “I did not mean what I said. I was just using it to ‘catch cruise’. I am a very controversial person.”

    Speaking on why she chose to be controversial, she said, “I am not doing it to grow followers on social media. I lost my Instagram page with hundreds of thousands of followers because of my controversy. I was raised in a bitter way. I wasn’t raised with love. That is why I am this way. If I make money, I will stop being controversial.”

    Nigerian Nollywood actor, Ray Emodi has announced he will be taking a break from Nollywood.

    He made the announcement on his Instagram page.

    Emodi disclosed that he has been receiving treatment for anxiety since 2015 and now requires avoiding stress to manage his condition better.

    He wrote: “I am suffering from anxiety. I’ve been receiving treatment for this since 2015 and one of the requirements is not to overwork. I have been having serious symptoms of late and for that reason, I will not be able to continue with film work the foreseeable future.

    “Please allow me some time to refund your money. I apologize for any inconvenience. The medical establishment that has been handling my case is called Synapes, based in Abuja.”

    Veteran Nollywood actor, Chinwetalu Agu has said he turned down an offer of N10 million from billionaire business mogul, Mike Adenuga, to play a character in a movie.

    He said when the billionaire businessman made the offer he did not make N1 million before but he insisted on getting N20 million.

    The legendary thespian said Adenuga later compromised and gave her N20 million after she threatened to leave.

    Agu disclosed this in a chat with popular media personality Chude Jideonwe.

    He said, “Chief Mike Adenuga said, ‘All I have for you in this deal is N10 million.’ I never saw N1 million before when he was offering me N10 million but I refused. I said, ‘If it’s not N20 million, forget it.’

    “He insisted, I insisted. So, I pretended to get up and said, ‘Give me the money to go back to Enugu. If a flight is available, book it for me and let me go back quietly.’

    “When I got up they thought I was serious now. Chief Mike Adenuga said ‘Sit down.’ He directed them to bring the papers for signature. They brought and I signed.

    “From that moment the Uhuru dance began. I did it diplomatically in the office. I didn’t want them to know that N20m is a big deal [to me]. But this was the most wonderful thing [to me] now.”

    Veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, has spoken out about the divorce rate in the movie industry.

    Edochie made his comments in an interview with media personality, which was widely shared on Friday..

    He said that he was shocked when he learned his junior colleagues Chioma Chukwuka, Ireti Doyle, and Tonto Dikeh had left their marriages.

    The actor went on to say that many women are missing the core of marriage because it was always about commitment, regardless of the circumstances.

    Speaking in the video, he said, “If you come to our Industry today, most of our ladies who got married some two-three years ago have all left their husbands. I was shocked that Chioma Chukwuka had left her husband, Ireti Doyle, Tonto Dikeh.

    “You take a vow when you are going to get married for better or worse, not for better or out. You will always think it’s greener on the other side, that is the mistake we all make”.

    Popular Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus has claimed Nigerians currently purchase the cheapest fuel in the world.

    She slammed those criticising President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for removing fuel subsidy.

    In a recent chat with popular media personality, Daddy Freeze, the actress insisted that Nigeria is still the country with the cheapest fuel price in the world.

    Following the removal of fuel subsidy, the pump price of fuel skyrocketed to N617 per litre.

    She said, “A lot of these keypad warriors do not even have an idea of what subsidy is. It was when they removed it that they knew what the government was doing. Even till now, I think we still buy the cheapest fuel in the world.”

    The 40-year-old thespian maintained that her support for President Tinubu remains unshakable, stressing that she has “never seen a philanthropist as our current president.”

    A Nigerian lady who accused popular Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus of connecting girls to top politicians for prostitution has been arrested by Nigerian police.

    Recall that the lady, simply identified as Oge, had days ago, in a viral video on social media, accused the Eniola Badmus of being a professional pimp who connects ladies to politicians for prostitution.

    In her reaction, Eniola Badmus took to her Instagram page on Wednesday, cautioned those fabricating lies against her reputation to tread carefully.

    “Trend carefully. Won ti je Badoskyy leti lol. Set Awon ko gbo nkankan. Zero answering”, Eniola wrote in Yoruba.

    However, in a new development on Sunday, a video shared on Eniola Badmus tv on YouTube showed Oge in police custody at an undisclosed location.

    The trending video captured the troll begging Badmus for forgiveness, stressing that the viral clip was done out of desperation to pay her house rent.

    Speaking further, Oge said she was paid N200,000 to defame the actress.

    She said: “So, one of my friends said if I should come out and talk about Miss Eniola Badmus that he was going to send me N200,000 because I told him about my rent. So that was what prompted the video in the first place.

    “So I’m so sorry. I just did it because of the money. I was so desperate to pay my house rent.”

    Oge was arrested on Saturday, July 22, after the actress reported the matter to the police.

    Nollywood actor, Alapinni gifted 2007 Sienna car, N3.7m from fans

    Nollywood actor Abdulganiu Olayeni, popularly known as Alapinni Oosa, popularly known as Baba Alapini Osa has received car gift from one of his fans.

    The car, 2007 Toyota Sienna, was gifted to the actor courtesy of a business man, identified as Lekan Enuope.

    The car was presented to Alapini by Comedian Kamo who initially spearheaded a fundraising for the car.

    Kamo had intially realized the sum of N3.7m, for the actor before Enuope decided to gift him the car.

    Comedian Kamo who confirmed the development noted that the N3.7m raised will now be shared between Baba Alapini and his colleague known as Baba Lalude.

    “God bless you LEKAN ENUOPE For blessing baba with this car. We had to share the 3.7m between Baba Alapini and Baba Lalude. God bless everyone that supported us on this one. Who should we bless next?” Comedian Kamo wrote on Facebook.

    The comedian had earlier raised funds for the purchase of Lalude’s car.

    After the purchase of Lalude’s car, Baba Alapini reached out to him to also solicit for help in getting a car.

    In the space of three months three Nollywood actors, Iya Gbonkan, Lalude and now Alapinn have been gifted cars and cash worth million of naira by their fans.
