  • Don’t use our kids to open old wounds – D’Banj sister, Omotayo warns Do2dtun

Don’t use our kids to open old wounds – D’Banj sister, Omotayo warns Do2dtun

Omotayo Oyebanjo, the ex-wife of On Air Personality, Kayode Oladotun, popularly known as Do2dtun, has warned the OAP to stop using their kids to open old wounds as they begin  their divorce proceedings.

Omotayo is the sister of singer Dapo Oyebanjo popularly known as D’Banj.

In a statement on Sunday via Instagram, Omotayo said their two daughters are fine and should be kept out of their marital separation. She said contrary to the allegations by her ex-husband over the custody of their children, the entertainer has access to their kids.

Omotayo recalled how Do2dtun drove her to a hospital to have a forced abortion of a five-month pregnancy, accusing him of subjecting her to domestic violence and emotional abuse whilst they were living together as couple.

The couple got  married in 2013 and had two children together.

However, sometime in November 2021, Omotayo instituted a divorce proceeding before Justice AI Akobi of Court 23, High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, in Suit Number: GWD/PET/25/2021, over alleged “unending reckless emotional abuse, forced abortion and vicious domestic violence,” by Do2dtun, which she claimed has adversely affected her health and general well-being.

Do2dtun recently alleged that he was not allowed to see his daughter, but Omotayo said their two daughters are too young for social media exposure.

“Dotun, our kids are fine, and it is indeed good for you to see them and give them your treat as their father. It is indeed your right to spend time with them, but I kindly request that we resolve the children’s issue amicably. My legal team has initiated contact, and I encourage your lawyers to reciprocate, provided that we maintain the confidentiality of my address. We can do that now or anytime.

“When you filed a motion for divided custody during holidays and festive period, my legal team raised no objections. I wanted, and still want, to shield our children from the tumult of our issues. The court granted the order for divided custody on holidays and festive seasons on June 6, 2022. I direct your attention to Order 1 on your Instagram post from October 11, 2023, where you shared the court order in an attempt to rally support on social media.

“I believe that those who have rallied behind you in this false narrative will ultimately one day know better. Despite my suffering, I refrained from sharing my true experiences with my brother, as he had been advised not to support our marriage due to alarming reports from sources like Daddy Freeze and Dudu. Yet, you and I both dismissed these allegations as falsehoods, and you even confronted Daddy Freeze in defence of our relationship. My mother and I persevered in our faith in you.

“In July 2022, I coordinated their holiday with you. You picked them up at 12:30 on July 17, 2022, and they returned to school in August after a month with you. You treated the girls to enjoyable experiences, and I even suggested to the older one to use “Daddy’s money” for my snacks. On July 18th, you messaged me about helping with the remaining clothes in the house, and we conversed amicably.

“In mid-August, you posted a TikTok video with the girls on Instagram, and while some appreciated it, some comments turned inappropriate. I simply urged caution and expressed my concern that our 5 and 7-year-old daughters were too young to be exposed to social media and you know I don’t like it. Your reaction was intense; you lashed out at me and my family and reminded me that you had the final say in such matters. You subsequently blocked me on WhatsApp and all social media platforms, to date.

“We emphasized our duty to share custody, even if the children were in a boarding school, and provided evidence of their travels during the first holiday to the court. We also pointed out our appeal for divided custody during Christmas and New Year. Your failure in court subsequently led to public denunciations of me, my family, and the court.

“Despite the challenges we faced, my departure from the house followed the painful episode of a forced abortion at five months of pregnancy. You personally drove me to the doctor despite my pleas, later suggesting that we had reached a mutual agreement despite the unfortunate timing. I didn’t discuss it with my brother.

“I am not inclined to embrace the social media persona you expected me to adopt after years of marriage. You suddenly wanted something different and I tried to be but didn’t work.

“Let’s not use the kids to fight old wounds. Regardless, and for our children’s sake, I want to implore you to exercise restraint in this matter and leave my innocent family out of it. For our kids’ sake. There’s a process in place, let’s get it done so that you can have your kids and watch if truly that is the issue. May God heal you,” she said.

Popular OAP, Do2dtun drags D’banj over collapsed marriage with singer’s sister

Popular On-Air-Personality, Oladotun Kayode, aka Do2dtun, has dragged singer D’banj for his alleged involvement in the dispute between him and his estranged wife, Omotayo.

Omotayo, who is D’banj’s sister, got married to Do2dtun in 2013, and the marriage produced two children.

Recall that In 2022, Omotayo filed for separation over alleged forced abortion, domestic violence, and emotional abuse. The couple were granted divided custody.

However, Do2dtun, in continuation of his fight to have access to his two daughters, who are currently in the custody of his ex-wife, accused Dbanj of having made life unbearable for him while he was still married to his sister.

According to a now-trending post on his Instagram page on Saturday, the OAP said D’banj had messed with the wrong person and threatened to fight back to gain access to his kids.

His post: “You know how much I was there for you @iambangalee when you lost your son. You know the pain of losing a child, but you are now the instrument of discord and wickedness in mine.

“After I said I can’t work with you, that was my issue. So the only way to hurt me was through my wife and kids. You knew I loved them. I didn’t want to do what you do to make money. I’m a non-conformist, and it annoyed you so much.

“These are my kids, not yours. People don’t know why I am involving you so much, but don’t ever be the reason for someone’s unhappiness. You won’t make me happy, yet you and your family took my source of joy. The worst man you can fight is someone who is ready to die.

“Dapo, your mother, and Taiwo made my life a living hell. I jump on stage, sweat so hard to make a living, build a legacy for myself and my family because, as you said, “I was a golddigger,” but you see how I made my own little gold without you. No one knew we were even related, but you just couldn’t let me breathe. You now took my source of happiness. Listen, I will be your nightmare. You messed with the wrong person. Kids are not objects. They are priceless.”

Popular OAP, Nedu Wazobia tenders apology over marriage comment on women

Comedian, On-air personality and broadcast journalist, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu Wazobia has apologized for his comment on marriage following the divorce saga between Moroccan footballer, Achraf Hakim and his Wife.

In a video that went viral, Nedu was seen saying that women now see marriage as a poverty alleviation scheme, insisting that love in marriage is dead and buried.

Hos words: “I don’t know if you people have seen that video or the pictures or the message of that PSG footballer called Hakimi who claimed to be 24 years old and his wife is asking for a divorce. And demand 50 percentPopular OAP of his property.

“You see that marriage is dead? In fact, if people believed anything in marriage before, with what’s happening in marriage in the whole world, people wouldn’t want to get married anymore. Most women, many of you, make some people not be interested in marriage because you have turned the thing into a poverty alleviation scheme.”

Following the heavy criticism received on social media over his comments, Nedu, in a series of posts on his Instagram story on Sunday, made a U-turn and tendered a public apology to everyone affected.

  • Why I can never marry a virgin – OAP, Nedu

Why I can never marry a virgin – OAP, Nedu

On Air Personality, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu, has stated reasons why he will never marry a virgin.

According to him,  most virgins are not good at decision-making, adding that nonvirgins make better decisions.

The comedian stated recently on The Honest Bunch audiovisual podcast cohosted by him.

He added that most virgins believe virginity is their pride and all they bring to the table.

He said, “If I wan marry, I’ll not marry person wey be virgin. I will tell you why. I think girls that are not virgins make decisions better. Most girls that are virgins they believe ‘Oh this is my pride. My virginity is my pride. My virginity is my value. I’m a 30-year-old and I’m a virgin. I’ve kept myself.”

However, actress Juliana Olayode who was a guest on the show, countered Nedu’s claims that virgins are bad at decision-making.

She said, “There are a lot of women who are virgins and are very knowledgeable. They know that that is not all there is to them. You can bring one million, and they will increase it to fifty million. So, I don’t think it is an experience thing.

“Experience thing puts pressure on a lot of people. I’m speaking especially for people like Juliana [myself] that have a Juliana kind of mindset about this situation. I feel like that person who is a pro now did not start off as a pro. The person already has so many experiences with different men, maybe with the same man, and that is why the person is a pro.”

“So, I feel like we live in a culture where people don’t want to grow with you because there is so much hype about ‘I hit it, I got it right. Yes, I screamed. I shout.’ There is so much hype about that that a lot of people are not willing to just grow with you. And I feel like people who are willing to walk that journey with people, they share more bonds and connections, especially sexual journey, ” Olayode added.

  • Angel attacks OAP Nedu over comments on BBNaija female housemates

Angel attacks OAP Nedu over comments on BBNaija female housemates

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Angel Agnes Smith has reacted to On-Air Personality, OAP, Nedu Wazobia’s claims that most ladies audition for the reality show to find new customers.

The former housemates described the OAP personality as ‘toto plaintiff’ for degrading women on the Big Brother reality show.

Recall that Nedu, while speaking during his podcast, revealed that most female BBNaija housemates have been on the show to popularize their prostitution trade.

In her reactions on Twitter,  Angel accused men of being jealous of hard-working women on the reality television show. She maintained that Nedu’s remark was “old and boring”.

Her Tweet reads “Nothing worse than the coochie controllers, the toto plaintiffs, the box control division, rest. Yuck. Like this topic pisses me off so much, then you people will come online and say “Nawa o, so she fucks for money, and she’s oppressing us, don’t believe everything on social media” nobody is oppressing you my dear, you’re just a jealous rat.

“Men are very jealous of women because I don’t understand why you’re upset about a grown woman’s vagina. That’s why blogs thrive on bringing down the women in big brother, some of the most hardworking people I’ve met, especially the ones you guys slutshame a lot, shut up losers.”

Angel said some former female housemates have become actresses and successful businesswomen.

“This is all so old and boring, I don’t know why men can’t just mind their business. So many women have come out of Big Brother to become actresses, start businesses and actually have a solid brand but because y’all are so misogynistic and uninformed you say rubbish.

“Because there are women that have internalized misogyny, they join in the cycle of slut-shaming women, it will never go away.

“Eh hen, so she dey sleep with men for money, can never be me” but you are busy sleeping with a man for a ‘have you eaten today? Try and eat.’

“Why do you want to know what the women in big brother are doing to make money?? If truly we are sleeping with men for money, do you want us to show you where the men are so you sef go put your bum bum in the air? When we’re starting businesses, acting etc you guys won’t talk. “Mercy has multiple businesses and is still relevant,Tacha is one of the best influencers we’ve had in naija and has multiple businesses, Nengi, Erica, Liquorose, Uriel, Anto, so many great women have come out of the show, just say you’re scared of successful women.”

She wondered why nobody had spoken about former male housemates doing well after the reality show.

“You people never talk about the men in big brother when they’re buying their cars and watches and buying houses but let it be a woman, all of a sudden everyone wants to know her sponsor. Do you people know their own sponsor? If you like call her a slut, it doesn’t take away from the fact that she won the show, has bought houses, has multiple businesses, can travel when she likes, while you sit on the internet wondering how she’s making her money. Money dey na you no know where e dey. And again I’m asking you, how it is any of your business???

“Plus don’t be obtuse, a significant amount of men that left big brother are driving luxurious cars, go and ask them who their sugar daddy or might I say sugar mummy is There are sugar mummies and daddies in Abuja, if you men are so pressed and think that’s what we’re doing, it’s best you go and enter market too so you’ll buy,” she added.

Recall that Khloe has also berated the OAP over his comments on female housemates on the TV reality show.
