Former governor of Oyo State, Rasidi Ladoja has sued Governor Seyi Makinde and the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Lekan Balogun to court over kingship matter. Ladoja also dragged Ibadan High Chiefs who were recently elevated as Kings to court.

A section of the Akinrun of Ikirun palace was set ablaze following the Obaship tussle ravaging the town for few weeks now. It was gathered that a one person identified as Lukuman Omoola was allegedly shot dead due to the renewed crisis brewing in Ikirun town.
