God is always working out His perfect will for your life. He is always busy behind  the scenesto bring forth His plan. He declares the end of the beginning and then  set things in motion.

“Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields,  keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the  Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them,  and they were greatly afraid.

Have you strayed and wandered away from the loving arms of God  because of sin? Do you feel you have gone away too far and can never be forgiven by God?

To be scarred means to be deeply affected or marked by mental or physical pain  or injury. Scars hardly fade away. They remain visible for a long period of time  or forever.

The exact nature of Paul’s infirmity is unknown. But whatever it was, it must  have been uncomfortable because he pleaded with God on three occasions to  take it away. He seemed desperate to get rid of.

Have you ever felt like God has forsaken you? As seen in today’s reading, though  a woman may forget or neglect her own child, God will never abandon you.

Grace is the unmerited favour that you receive through faith in Jesus Christ.  There’s nothing you can ever do to earn it.

What do these scripturestells us about the love of God? God loves you intensely,  totally, and unconditionally. There is nothing that you did or will do that will  change or alter His love.

The life of a believer is one of service. The bible says that God who has reconciled us  to Himself through Jesus Christ, has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

Prayer is an intimate two-way communication between you and God. It is you talking to your Father as well as listening to Him speak to you. The bible is replete with commands on how to pray, when to pray, what to pray for and the benefits of praying.
