I know how to take good care of men- Lizzy Gold

Nollywood actress, Lizzy Gold has declared that she will not be found inadequate when it comes to satisfying the needs of a man she loves.

The Delta State-born role interpreter made this known in a chat with The Sun.

“I am an Itsekiri girl and I know that an average Itsekiri girl can cook and take good care of their men. They are also very hardworking and intelligent. We are very blunt and jovial people. I have never heard any bad stories about an Itsekiri girl.”

Speaking further she advised ladies to desist from any form of toxic relationship.

“Distance yourself from any relationship that is too toxic, whether platonic or intimate. Some relationships can drain your energy, walk away from bad energy. Life is too short to manage relationships. If it’s not giving you what you want, my sister, leave,” she said.

TheNewsGuru, TNG recalls that the outspoken actress had revealed on her Instagram that she has stopped wearing of pants in order to avoid ritualists who use used female pants for ritual purposes.

  • Why I don’t wear pants anymore- Nazo Ekezie

Why I don’t wear pants anymore- Nazo Ekezie

Nazo Ekezie is one role interpreter making waves in Nollywood at the moment. Armed with a flawless delivery and sensual body, the Ebonyi State University graduate undoubtedly has what it takes to dazzle in Nollywood.

In this chat with TheNewsGuru, she opens up on her passion for acting, new movie, amongst other issues.

Can you tell us more about you?

My name is Nazo Ekezie. I am from Anambra State. Ozubulu to be precise. I’m the second child of four children. My father is late but my mother is still here.

How long have you been acting?

I have been here professionally since 2010.

Recently, you went into movie production, what inspired that move?

As some point I wanted to try something new. I developed this love for filmmaking. It has been there for a while. So, in 2018, I produced my first film. It’s titled Flawed. Featuring Ebere Okaro, More Duncan, my humble self, and other amazing actors.

What were the challenges you passed through as a first time producer?

I think doing a movie as a producer and also acting in same movie should be for only superheroes, because it was not easy at all. I had to think for everyone to make sure that the production goes well.It was not funny at all. I had to think from every angle to make sure everything was okay. I had a very good production manager, but I really got myself worked up.

Another big challenge, I had was location issue. I paid for an office space in Lekki, then like a day before the shoot, the man in charge of the space called and said we can’t move in that the office was locked. Some government officials locked the place up. Then, he wouldn’t refund my money on time to get another office space. It was very tough, but I refused to be discouraged. We just changed plans and moved on.

The good thing is, I have learned my lessons. Now I know what those other producers face. What they pass through. Now I understand them better. I have learned anything can go wrong during production. And most times, some mistakes or lapses is not entirely their faults.

Flawed the movie, is trying to say that people have reasons for doing what they do. We all are not perfect. No matter how good and perfect we seem to look from the outside, there are lots of issues we still have to deal with on the inside. The movie also teaches that love conquers

These days everyone, especially celebrities are always online showing off different lifestyle, what’s your take on this trend?

I can only say that it depends on who and what you want for yourself. I think my biggest problem is realness. I don’t know how to fake it or pretend. I can’t even snap besides someone’s car because there is no gain in it. I’m so real to a fault. Although the society would expect more from us as a celebrities. A lot of actors are pressured by the society. Nigerians are conflicted, they want you to be humble, then the next minute, they complain you are too humble. These problems are often created by women. So, if people tend to live fake lifestyles, I won’t blame them. They have to meet up.

What is your take on the prevalent female pants for rituals issue?

It might sound cliché but I don’t wear pants anymore. Because I’m not going to joke with my destiny and if there’s anywhere that I’m taking my clothes off, my underwear are going straight to my bag.

  • Apostle speaks against stealing of female pants

Apostle speaks against stealing of female pants

The founder, Faith Revival Apostolic Church (FRAC), Apostle Paul Adenuga, has described the stealing of female pants to make quick money as very shameful.

Adenuga condemned the act at the Christian Press of Nigeria (CPAN) breakfast meeting held in Lagos on Sunday.

“You can imagine, some men go to steal women pants because they want to make sudden money and some of these men are caught and displayed on social media, what a shame,” he said.

According to the Adenuga, one of the factors that has intensified such evil acts is that many churches have deviated from preaching the true message of the gospel.

The Apostle posited that many churches preached more about how to make money and neglected the real gospel message that has moral instructions to help cultivate good virtues in Nigerian youths.

He, therefore, urged parents, especially mothers, to intensify prayers for their wards not to be involved in the shameful acts.

See why some ladies prefer fairly used pants, bras to new ones

Some ladies in Lagos said they prefer buying fairly used pants and brassieres because they were durable and could get good bargain from market.

They told reporters in separate interviews on Friday in Lagos that their preference for fairly used pants and bras was due to the fact that such products were genuine and last longer than new ones.

Mrs Ann Adedeji, who was at Ikotun Central Market in Lagos, said that apart from durability, most of the fairly used pants and bras had trendy designs and were colourful.

She said “I get more colourful bras and pants that are most times not available in boutiques and at the same time I get value for my money as they are durable.

“You can only get unique bra designs here because the Ikotun Central Market is the main place for fairly used underwears.”

Mrs Victoria Adejo, who was also at the market, it was after she suffered an embarrassing experience with a new bra that she decided to make do with fairly used ones.

She said the hook of the bra she was wearing came-off while she was in a meeting in the office and was left in uncomfortable position all through the meeting.

“Since that incident, I stopped buying panties and bras from boutiques,’’she said.

Mrs Oluchi Onwuka, who sells used panties in Ikotun Market, said she never regretted venturing into the business.

She said “it is a profitable business and I am growing in it.

“I have boutique owners who come to buy in bulk; they wash and package them and resell at exorbitant rates and I am aware.”

Miss Damilola Madu, who also deals in fairly used panties and bras, also says
the underwears are durable and cheaper than new ones.

Madu added that used bras held the breast firmly and the elasticity was retained for a very long time, unlike new ones.

“Used undies are cheaper and last longer than new ones; that is the reason people come for it,” she said.

However, a dermatologist, Dr Ayoola Adeyemi, warned against the use of fairly used bras and pants, saying it could cause bacterial infections.

The doctor noted that since the health status of the initial user could not be verified, it would be advisable for individuals to desist from such acts.

She added that “some bacterial infections could occur when we use fairly used panties because the health history of the initial user was not known.

“Skin rashes, eczema, syphilis and other bacterial infections may occur,” she said.
