    The depiction of Paris Jackson, daughter to Michael Jackson, the late pop star, as lesbian Jesus in a movie has, elicited thousands of signatures on a new petition of protest.

     

    The 22-year-old daughter of the ‘King of Pop’ was filmed as one of the main characters in ‘Habit’, a forthcoming movie project which featured several stars including Bella Throne and Gavin Rossdale.

     

    The movie follows the story of “a street smart party girl with a Jesus fetish who gets mixed up in a violent drug deal and finds a possible way out by masquerading as a Nun.”

     

    Ahead of the film’s release, over 280,000 persons across the globe took to Change.org to sign a petition against the movie, which they dubbed “blasphemous” and a “Christianophobic garbage.”

     

    “A new blasphemous Hollywood film is predicted to come out soon depicting Jesus as a lesbian woman,” the petition read.

     

    “The film ‘Habit’ stars Paris Jackson who plays the role of ‘lesbian Jesus’. Distributors haven’t picked it up as of yet.

     

    “So let’s please spread awareness and wake people up to the Christianophobic garbage that is spread nowadays, but is somehow accepted and praised by society.”

    While Jackson is yet to officially react to the controversy, Sia, an Australian singer-songwriter, took to her Twitter handle to write in her defense: “Let her be a child, please. Attack me.

     

    “It’s me that has my opinions as a 44-year-old woman. I am more than equipped to deal with us disagreeing on a subject. Let’s not ruin her music release and finding her own voice.”

    Paris Jackson, daughter of Michael Jackson, late American music legend, has secured her biggest film role to date – playing Jesus in ‘Habit’, an imminent indie film.

    The movie will see her feature alongside stars like Bella Thorne, US singer and actress.

    According to Screen Daily, the project also featured several other music and movie stars including Gavin Rossdale, English singer cum actor, Bria Vinaite, Josie Ho as well as Janell Shirtcliff, who is making her directorial debut.

    Donovan Leitch, the film’s producer, told Fox News that the much-awaited project is already in the post-production stage but no date has been fixed for its release.

    ‘Habit’ follows the story of a street-smart party girl with a Jesus fetish, which was depicted by Thorne and her struggle for survival when she ran into trouble.

    Caught amongst controversies stemming out of a drug deal, Thorne pretended to be a nun, in a bid to navigate through the situation.

    It, however, remains mysterious how Paris will come into the situation to rescue Thorne in her role as Jesus Christ.

    Before her celebrated participation in ‘Habit’, the 22-year-old actress has been pulling the strings majorly in the modeling and music landscape.

    She made her acting debut in 2018 featuring on Fox’s ‘Star’ followed by strings of other acting performances including in ‘Gringo’ and ‘Scream: The TV series’ aired on MTV.

    Music legend, Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris 20, is being treated in an undisclosed mental health facility, according to media reports.

    According to sources close to E! News, the daughter of the late famous music icon is currently living in a facility in the hope of improving her mental health after a busy 2018.

    “After a busy year of work engagements that took her all over the globe, Paris decided that she needed to take some time off to reboot, realign and prioritise her physical and emotional health.

    “She checked herself into a treatment facility to aid her wellness plan; and is looking forward to coming out revitalised and ready to tackle the exciting new projects that await her,” the insider shared.

    The 20-year-old has had a whirlwind year filled with photo shoots, public appearances and the start of a music career, as well as the heartbreaking death of her grandfather Joe Jackson.

    Since her debut on the Hollywood scene, Paris has become a highly sought after figure in the fashion world and has been named Hollywood’s “it’’ girl by publications like Vanity Fair.

    However, the spotlight did not come without its drawbacks.

    Paris made headlines in September 2018 for calling out the paparazzi who were clamouring for a shot of the upcoming model as she left a New York Fashion Week show.

    She told fans on Twitter: “I just got yelled at in a really mean way outside the Tom Ford Show because paparazzi did not get a chance to shoot my face.

    She had in the past discussed her struggles with self-confidence and depression, which drove her to attempt suicide when she was just 13-years-old.

    “I was going through a lot, like, teen angst. And I was also dealing with depression and anxiety without any help,’’ she told Rolling Stone in 2017.

    Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris Jackson has alleged that her father was killed. She stated that every member of the Jackson’s family are aware that he was murdered. In an interview with Rolling Stone, she said her dad dropped hints about people being out there to get him.

    Paris was speaking in an interview with Rolling Stone, noting that it might sound as a conspiracy theory but she was certain that the pop icon was murdered.

    She said, “He would drop hints about people being out to get him. And at some point he was like, they’re gonna kill me one day. Absolutely. Because it’s obvious. All arrows point to that. It sounds like a total conspiracy theory and it sounds like bullshit, but all real fans and everybody in the family knows it. It was a setup. It was bullshit.”

    She threw a bombshell saying that she would go after the killers of her father.

    “Of course, I definitely do, but it’s a chess game. And I am trying to play the chess game the right way. And that’s all I can say about that right now.”

    Paris also revealed that she had attempted suicide multiple times as a result of self-hatred and low self-esteem

    “It was just self-hatred, low self-esteem, thinking that I couldn’t do anything right, not thinking I was worthy of living anymore”.
