    ‘Every Nigerian should be proud of me’ – Pastor Tobi Adegboyega breaks silence on deportation saga

    Tobi Adegboyega of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church, popularly known as SPAC Nation and a popular friend to Nigerian singer Davido, has broken his silence following reports of losing his battle against deportation from the United Kingdom over an alleged £1.87 million fraud.

    TheNewsGuru.com(TNG) earlier reported that an immigration tribunal court in the UK  ruled that Adegboyega should be deported back to Nigeria after its investigations exposed misuse of funds by his church.

    SPAC Nation was previously shut down following a £1.87 million fraud allegation after the church failed to account for substantial outgoings.

    Adegboyega, according to reports, contended that deportation, noting that it breached his right to family life under the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), citing his marriage to a British citizen and his community work but lost the case.

    Reacting to the development via his verified Instagram on Wednesday, Adegboyega, who noted he had no criminal or money case against him, said that his supporters and Nigerians in general should be proud of him.

    Unperturbed by the ruling, the UK-based clergyman said the reports are mere speculation, adding that he is at home and has succeeded against several challenges in the UK.

    He said, “I’m right here at home, no cause for alarm, and naturally I’ll dismiss things that have to do with retrogression.

    “Every Nigerian should be proud of me. In the UK, a city that is well known for pulling people down, I’ve survived all sorts. So, the matter that they are propagating now is the smallest of matter.

    “There’s no need for panic. I love London City; it’s my city, and nobody can do anything. Of all the people of colour you know here, pastors and leaders, I have survived everything.

    “Now, let me talk about the fraud case. This is an advanced country. After all these years, have you ever heard someone go to the parliament and make all sorts of complaints? Someone from another race, another colour. Nothing came out of it.

    “So, those who hate, hate already. What you want to hear is not what you heard today. What you want to hear is they’ve arrested him for money this, money that.

    Nigerian writer and social media influencer Solomon Buchi  has slammed UK -based clergyman, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, for going clubbing with popular Nigerian singer, Davido.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Adegboyega, on Friday night was captured with superstar, Davido having a fun moment.

    The clergyman, who is a close friend of Davido, in the viral video could be seen sitting beside singer, with both of them having a good time. 

    Reacting to the video, Solomon Buchi via the microblogging platform, X formerly Twitter, said that the clergyman is a shame to the office of a pastor.

     He stated that Tobi Adegboyega can’t be a pastor and be living life like that.

    He then admonished the clergyman to leave pastoral calling and continue driving his luxury cars, going club, and enjoying his Gucci.

    He further added that the clergyman can’t mix these things with Jesus.

    He said, “Tobi Adegboyega is definitely not a pastor. Such a shame to the office of a pastor. You can’t be a pastor and be like that. He should just drive his luxury cars and club and enjoy his Gucci. Stop mixing it with Jesus.”

    Nigerian vocalist, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has revealed what getting married to his third baby mama, Chioma Avril Rowland, is, saying “the one in my heart”.

    TheNewsGuru.com reports that the couple has finally gone to Instagram officially.

    The couple took to their respective Instagram pages to delight their fans with a loved-up photo.

    They shared photos from their late-night outing in London.

    Davido used a flattering comment for their posts.

    He wrote in Igbo dialect, “Odi M Na Obi”, which means, ‘The one in my heart’.

    While Chioma wrote, “London nights”.

    Recall that Davido had revealed he will be marrying Chioma, the mother of his son, Ifeanyi, in 2023.

    The talented singer made the revelation in a video shared by UK-based Nigerian pastor, Tobi Adegboyega on Instastory.

    In the video, Adegboyega hailed Chioma as “Our wife, our real wife,” and Davido added, “Hundred percent, going down, 2023.”

    The Nigerian Chef (Chioma) was spotted with the singer in several videos, years after their rumoured breakup.

    Davido had on September 3rd, 2019, held an introduction with Chioma’s family but a proper wedding ceremony between the duo never happened.

    TheNewsGuru.com recalls that earlier this month, Davido attended church for the first time in three years, with Chioma.

    Taking to Instagram to share a photo of Chioma’s hand in church, Davido wrote: “First time in church in 3 years… God is good”.

    Davido posted and commended her for ‘dragging’ her baby’s daddy to church.

    Chioma had sparked rumours of pregnancy following a video of her that surfaced online.

    In the clip shared on Davido’s IG story, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, who is a close friend of the crooner, gifted Chioma a designer’s bag believed to be worth millions of naira.

    Davido could be seen hailing the UK-based clergyman as he presented the hang bag to his baby mama.

    It is no longer news that Davido and Chioma Rowland have created an impression of being back together in the minds of fans after months of what appeared like a sour relationship.
