The daughter of Dunamis International Gospel Centre’s Senior Pastor, Dr. Paul Enenche, Destiny has dismissed claims that she used church offering money to buy a luxury designer bag.

TheNewsGuru.com(TNG) reports that the rumors started after some persons claimed that Destiny was spending church funds on expensive fashion items.

The story quickly spread across social media, with many people questioning her lifestyle.

Reacting to the video, Destiny in a video posted on her social media described the accusation as ignorant and explained that the bag being talked about was not bought with church offering, but rather was given to her as a present.

In her words, “That bag was a gift. Ninety-nine percent of what we wear are gifts, and none of them are from church members. My parents are medical doctors. They don’t need to use offering money for us.”

She added that her parents were medical doctors and do not depend on church collections for their personal needs

“We have redirected the funds”: CAN clears air on N30m rejected by Pastor Enenche from Kebbi govt

Kebbi State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has cleared the air on the N30 million donation from the Kebbi State Government publicly rejected by Pastor Paul Enenche, founder and senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Pastor Enenche was in Kebbi for a healing and deliverance crusade, jointly organized by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and the Kebbi State CAN in Birnin Kebbi.

In a statement by Venerable Ayyuba Kanta, Kebbi CAN Chairman, the N30 million donation from the state government was not a personal gift to Pastor Enenche but a support for the two-day statewide Christian crusade.

“We wish to make it clear to the general public and the state government that the N30 million gift was in support of the Kebbi State Healing and Deliverance Crusade held in Birnin Kebbi.

“The event was jointly organized by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and the Kebbi State Chapter of CAN,” the statement read.

According to CAN, Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche, who ministered during the crusade, has a personal policy of not accepting gifts during his evangelical or philanthropic engagements.

As a result, he advised that the funds be used at the discretion of the state CAN leadership for developmental projects.

The association disclosed that the funds have since been redirected towards the construction of a perimeter fence at the Christian cemetery recently approved by Governor Nasir Idris.

CAN also expressed deep appreciation to Governor Idris for releasing the state stadium for the crusade, the banquet hall of the Presidential Lodge for the ministers’ meeting, and facilitating the distribution of palliatives to students and women during the event.

Reaffirming the cordial relationship between the Christian community and the Kebbi State Government, Kanta described Governor Idris as “a jolly friend of all Christians and CAN leadership in the state.”

Paul Enenche publicly turns down N30m donation from Kebbi govt, gives reason

Pastor Paul Enenche, founder and senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, has publicly  rejected a N30 million donation from the Kebbi State Government during a recent crusade.

During the event, which held at the Haliru Abdu Stadium, Birnin Kebbi, a government official came to the stage to announce the donation on behalf of the state governor, Nasir Idris.

Addressing the audience, the representative said: “Our Governor, the people’s governor, had graciously approved the donation of the sum of N30 million to this gathering.

“That is to the organising committee. Which you know that whenever His Excellency made a donation, he do not leave without bringing that donation in cash.”

However, Pastor Becky Enenche, wife of the senior pastor responded with a firm no, before the crowd.

Despite her interjection, the announcer continued: “Before I leave this place, I want to present that N30 Million in cash.”

Shortly afterward, Paul Enenche addressed the situation directly, explaining the church’s stance on financial propriety:

“We believe government money should be used for government project, and government things, and church money should be used for church things, not mixed together,” he said.

What FG needs to end senseless killings in Nigeria – Pastor Enenche

Pastor Paul Enenche, Senior Pastor, Dunamis International Gospel Center (DIGC) Worldwide, has said Nigeria needs strong political will to end senseless killings across the country.

Enenche told newsmen on Wednesday at Yelewata Town, Guma Local Government Area of  Benue State that there was no single justification for the killings which claimed scores of lives on June 14.

He said that the country needed a strong political will to end the ongoing senseless killings across the country, especially the Yelewata Town attack.

He said that the solution to the killings lies with the country’s leadership, adding that government at all levels must develop a strong political will to end it.

“The solution to this type of issue is the will in the heart of the leadership of our nation, both at the federal and state levels.

“Leadership that has the will to do the right thing; that has the heart of the people, should put anything political aside and look at realities on the ground.

“And to value human lives above every other consideration and do what is right, in the interest of the people, in the interest of their consciences and in fact, that one day everybody will stand before God to give account of their lives to God,” he said

He said that the people would continue to trust God for the nation’s leadership to demonstrate compassion for her citizens.

He said that he was in the state to sympathize with his people, especially those in Yelewata Town, who were attacked and killed in their deep sleep.

“We are on a mission to Benue in the wake of the very horrific and almost like a genocidal pogrom in the land that resulted in the death and burning of so many people alive.

“We came on a condolence visit to the land, we came on a solidarity visit; to stand with our people and to let them know that light will never bow for darkness and darkness will never triumph over light.

“What kind of nation is this? Where there is almost zero heart for the feelings and aspirations of the people.

“Secondly, it is also for the people to wake up and rise up and to say: enough is enough, we will take our destiny in our hands; wherever possible. I believe that those two things will work together to bring solution,” he said.

To the grieving families, he said, “It is so heart breaking, only God knows your pains. Nobody can say: I understand, nobody understands, only God understands and the God who understands will comfort you, will console you, will give us solace and continue to give us answers to this situation.”

Enenche also donated relief materials to the victims of the Yelwata attacks, among such items are mattresses, rice and noodles.

According to a post that accompanied the video shared via Pastor Enenche’s official X handle, the “servant of God” gave “a very precise and accurate prophetic word” at at 12:38 am before a bird strike forced Air Peace to abandon its 6:30 am scheduled flight.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Air Peace has confirmed the near-air mishap, saying the bird strike that occurred before take-off prompted a ramp return of the aircraft as a safety measure.

The post titled “prophecy confirmation – plane crash averted” reads: “Early this morning, Thursday 14th November 2024 during the Commanding the day midnight prayer (CTDMP) at Dunamis International Gospel Centre Headquarters  Abuja, God’s Servant; Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche gave a very precise and accurate prophetic word at 12:38 am as follows:

“I stand here by a Prophetic Mantle here tonight to CANCEL PLANE CRASH, in the name that is above every name, every agenda of the devil to cause any crash, either by bird invasion or engine failure, whatever it is, I stand anointed within the next few days, every attempt of hell to cause a crash, to cause bloodshed, it is cancelled in the name of Jesus, it is cancelled, it is cancelled, it is cancelled, it is cancelled, it is cancelled.”

He went further to say” one major assignment of the prophetic is to interfere with the devil; it is to go in front of him, what he wants to do is blocked. I announce today that the agenda of hell is cancelled”

“The same morning of Thursday, 14th November 2024, about 6 hours after the prophetic declaration from the Servant of God, a flight from Abuja to Lagos was abruptly aborted at the point of takeoff early Thursday morning following a bird strike on the aircraft at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

“Lagos-based human rights lawyer and one of the passengers aboard the aircraft wrote online to disclose the incident. He said the development threw some passengers into panic, with the attendant screaming. While taxing on the runway and just before takeoff, our flight from Abuja to Lagos scheduled for 6:30 AM today was stopped forcefully, resulting in panic and screams by some passengers.

“The captain attributed the incident to a BIRD STRIKE. We have been deboarded to await either a replacement or repair of the aircraft.” What a prophetic accuracy! AWESOME GOD!

“That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof – Isa 44:26 KJV

“If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:  Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom. Job 33:23-24.

“To God be all the praise and Glory for this mighty deliverance and timely Intervention. Indeed, we serve an incredible God who is mindful of His people. Jesus is Lord… Hallelujah!!!”.

Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis Gospel International Centre has caused an online stir over an Amapiano-style song he recently released.

This comes after the preacher took to his official  social media platforms to share a sneak peek of the music video for his debut Amapiano-styled single, titled “Elee”.

Sharing the video, the cleric wrote: While sharing the video on his page, Pastor Enenche wrote:

However, the unconventional blend of gospel and Amapiano is causing some netizens to share their thoughts about the track

While some netizens likened Pastor Enenche’s new song to his colleague, Emeka Odumeje who recently released a track titled Powers with singer Flavour, others argued that they were nothing alike and that Pastor Enenche had been making music for a very long time.

Anyim Vera: Pastor Enenche told to apologise loudly

Gospel singer Lara Geoge has criticized Pastor Paul Enenche, the founder of Dunamis Church, over his ‘weak’ apology to Anyim Veronica, the lady he humiliated in front of his congregation.

The gospel singer in a statement insisted that his apology should match the volume of his rebuke.

Pastor Enenche sparked reactions on social media when he publicly berated Veronica in his church for what he perceived as a false testimony.

The church issued a statement addressing the incident, and Pastor Paul Enenche, accompanied by his wife Becky, reportedly met with Vera to discuss the matter.

Lara George expressed dissatisfaction, arguing that the church’s statement lacked a sincere apology.

She emphasized that Pastor Enenche should offer a proper apology to the lady who endured the embarrassment, rather than attempting to simply move past the incident without addressing its impact.

    She wrote:

“Erm. That’s not an apology. When it leaves room for doubt, you haven’t apologized. WWJD?

“Be humble enough to apologise to her properly.Let your apology be as loud and as clear as your criticism.

“Nah! It’s not nice. Doesn’t matter who you are, we should all treat others as we would like to be treated. She doesn’t speak as well as you think she should, therefore you can conclude she is telling a lie? Based on the way she speaks?

“The way she speaks is a reflection of what we have allowed in our society. Every politician that you coddled instead of speaking the truth to, who stole funds that should have gone into healthcare, or education, or any other public welfare initiative…… well…… that’s the outcome. Graduates who speak like that. And you…. contributed to the condition of that society. The contributions from people like her is what has built the edifice you sit in. And while you sit there, we don’t hear you speak for the voiceless or defend the helpless.

“Nah. It’s not nice. Apologize to her properly. Unequivocally. That write-up that you had your people do, is really an insult on top of her injury. You know this. You would never dare address the matter that way if she was from a wealthy background.

“At the end of the day, the way you treat someone who you think you will never need is the true indicator of your character”.

Anyim Vera clears Facebook profile, tells supporters to stop writing against Pastor Enenche

Anyim Veronica Nnenna, the lady accused of giving a false testimony at Dunamis International Gospel Center has urged her supporters to stop writing against the church and the Senior Pastor of the church, Pastor Paul Enenche.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports the lady, also known as Anyim Vera, said this on Monday after having a meeting with Pastor Enenche and his wife, Becky Enenche, the video of which is now trending on social media.

Recall that while giving her testimony she said she just graduated with BSc in Law from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

A video clip making the rounds on social media revealed how the senior pastor interrupted her testimony, saying she lied by claiming she graduated with BSc in law.

However, the Internet has been flooded with reactions from concerned Nigerians who asked the pastor to tender apology to Vera.

The church has since apologized, saying the development was not intentional.

Shortly after the apology emerged, Vera took to her Facebook page to share photos of herself, Pastor Enenche and his wife, with an accompanying write up that reads:

“I want to inform the whole world that I just had a warm meeting with my spiritual father and mother Dr Paul Enenche and Dr Becky Enenche.

“I don’t have any grudge against the church or them I remain committed to serving God as a member of Dunamis church.

“I am thankful for the concern of the public. I have put the situation at my back and I have moved forward and I want everybody to do the same. Peace.”

Meanwhile, in a video now trending on social media, Vera, who has now cleared her Facebook profile, was seen telling her supporters to desist from writing against the church and Pastor Enenche.

In the video, Vera said: “I want to say to the world that mummy and daddy are my spiritual fathers. I dont have anything against them or against the church. Whatever that happened, we have settled everything.

“So, there is no problem. What you people are writing on Facebook, I urge you people to desist from it. They are my spiritual father and I cannot fight my mother and I cannot fight my father, please. I urge you people to desist from these write ups”.
