    Ivy Ifeoma, girlfriend of Paul Okoye popularly known as Rudeboy has addressed allegations that she was dating the singer while he was still married to Anita.

    Ivy has constantly been accused of being a husband snatcher ever since the couple began dating, not long after Paul Okoye’s divorce from his wife.

    Ivy responded to these accusations on her Instagram story, stating that a lot of people are dependent on false information.

    She clarified that she got into a relationship with a man who was unmarried and that she was not involved in their separation or divorce.

    According to her, she does not have time to chase a woman out of her marital home.

    In her words: “I don’t have to do this at all, but I will cause I’ve never really said a word about it and it seems a lot of you are addicted to misinformation. I met/got into a relationship with a very SINGLE man. I was nowhere in the picture when they got separated or divorced. And I certainly do not have time to chase people from their houses Aburo kwanu m ogbanje. So my dear, yes, I sleep well at night. ATP, any other nonsense you choose to believe/ circulate just means you’re a witch.”

    Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has revealed that she does not want to marry her lover, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Paulo.

    The movie star made this known on YouTube’s latest episode of her TV show, which featured veteran singer, Charly Boy, as a guest.

    She disclosed that she and the famous music executive cum show promoter, Paulo, are enjoying their relationship despite not being married.

    She said they don’t want to get married to each other because they feel that marriage is overrated.

    In her words, “I am enjoying my relationship. I am enjoying it. Luckily for me, he [Paulo Okoye] also doesn’t believe in marriage. We feel like it is overrated.”

    Charly Boy concurred: “I agree with you that marriage is overrated. My son called me the other day and said, ‘Dad, why can’t people have a contract and say we will just do five years in marriage and if we are lucky and happy, we renew the contract?’

    “It sounds funny but you know, there are different coping mechanisms because these days, marriage is not what it used to be when our parents got married. Marriage is a little bit muddled up now.

    And people are a little bit more individualistic than they used to be before. Nobody wants to serve anybody. Everybody wants to get their own. So, that’s where the problem starts.”

    Popular artiste and one of the Psquare brothers, Paul Okoye popularly known as Rudeboy has lamented the high cost of living in the country.

    According to him, the price of foodstuffs and cost of living generally increased in the country recently.

    He said the skyrocketing cost of living was just the beginning and urged Nigerians to brace themselves.

    The singer stated this via his Twitter handle on Thursday.

    Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has expressed her love for a talent manager, Paul Okoye, as he turns 56 today April 2, 2023.

    Iyabo, on her Instagram, posted; “Happy 56th birthday to the love of my life. Words can’t describe how much I love you, but know that it’s a forever deal Obim,” she wrote on her Instagram page.”

    During the airing of the ‘Real Housewives of Lagos reality show in early 2022, the actress hinted that she was in a relationship.

    Again, in November, Iyabo, who has produced more than 14 movies, gushed about her mystery lover, who she said is Igbo.

    However, as the actress marked her 45th birthday, she confirmed that, indeed, she is in a relationship with Paul.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that the actress was born as Alice Iyabo Ogunro on 21 December 1977 in Lagos, Nigeria, although her father was from Abeokuta, Ogun State. She was the youngest of three children, having two older brothers.

    Marrying a Lagos-based Clearing Agent in 1999, when she was 21, Iyabo took a break from pursuing her career. She gave birth to a son and then a daughter (born in 1999 and 2001 respectively), namely Felix Ojo and Priscilla Ajoke Ojo, but is now divorced from their father.

    She has attributed the breakup of her first marriage to marrying too young. She has spoken of her intention to stop using her former husband’s surname, Ojo.

    In April 2021, she strongly condemned fellow actor, Yomi Fabiyi for sympathizing with Olanrewaju Omikunle (Baba Ijesha) who was arrested for molesting a minor.

    On 12 May 2021, she took legal action against Yomi Fabiyi (who had earlier staged a protest requesting the release of Baba Ijesha) for making “defamatory statements” about her.

    Her actions did not go down well with the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, (TAMPAN), and they blacklisted her on 28 June 2021.

    Nollywood thespian and TikTok queen, Iyabo Ojo, has described her relationship with businessman, Paul Okoye, as strictly for “traveling and enjoyment”.

    It will be recalled the actress first gave us a hint about finding love again via her Instagram page. She had announced that an Igbo man had successfully captured her heart.

    Shortly after, Toke Makinwa shared a photo with Iyabo Ojo and Paul Okoye, confirming their relationship. Since the duo became Instagram official, they have been dishing out relationship goals.

    In a recent Instagram live chat with the couple, media personality, daddy Freeze quizzes whether they plan to have kids. Iyabo Ojo laughed it off, adding that their relationship is strictly for “relationship is for traveling and enjoyment”.

    Gushing, she teased and left many wondering who the mystery Igbo lover is. And after several guesses, following a video she posted, the lover was identified as Paulo O. Paul O, 57, the CEO of Upfront and Personal Global Management.

    Iyabo Ojo, as she clocked 45 years and to commemorate her special day, officially unveiled her lover to the public.

    In her birthday post, the mother of two revealed that Paul O is her lover. It appeared to be the right time on her birthday as she shared an Instagram reel with videos and pictures of herself and Paul O. In the caption, she referred to Paul O as Obi’m, which loosely translated as ‘my heart’ in Igbo language. Ojo wrote, “My Obi’m. Happy 45th birthday Iysexy. New age, new life, new wins. Cheers to forever #iypaulo.”

    Paulo also took to his Instagram page to celebrate his lover, whom he described as ‘Ezenwanyi’, meaning ‘Queen of all women’ in Igbo language. Sharing a picture of himself and Ojo, Paul O wrote, “Happy Birthday My Eze Nwanyi. We celebrate you today. Party time. Pure heart! Pure beauty!!” She replied, “I love you with all of me, my Obim.”

    Paul Okoye, a member of the previously defunct music group, P-Square has taken to social media to lament about the Naira scarcity, after the purchase of 40k with 70k.

    The Naira scarcity has been plaguing Nigerians for a couple of weeks now, following the introduction of the new notes.

    Taking to his Instagram story, Paul Okoye expressed his shock, as he disclosed that he bought Naira today because he needed to pay for a visa fee and it needed to pay in cash.

    As stated by Rude Boy, he bought N40k with N70k in order to make payments. The father of 3 expressed his displeasure, as he noted that the country keeps breaking new records.

    He wrote: “Omoh!!! I buy money today!! Just because I have to pay for a certain visa fee in an embassy, and it has to be paid in cash. Jokes apart I bought 40k with 70k Aahhhh!!!!!!! Naija breaking new record.”

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that it is tough getting money from Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of banks as well as Point of Sales (PoS), hence the Naira scarcity.

    Buyers and sellers, especially in informal markets, were stranded as some of them were still finding it difficult to agree on cash transfers.

    Currently, many banks do not attend to desperate customers over the counter. On the other hand, PoS terminals that are a critical part of the payment system do not have the new naira notes to give customers.

    Many of the operators said they had to use the “black market” to get both the old and new notes from “unexpected quarters”, hence their resolve to charge a lot of money from people who were willing to withdraw cash.

    Some POS operators, as at February 16, 2023 collected as much as N1,000 to release N5, 000. The total number of POS machines deployed by merchants and individuals across Nigeria hit 1.6 million in November 2022, according to the data released by the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS).

    There are approximately 17 automated teller machines, 147 point-of-sale devices and four bank branches for every 100,000 Nigerians, according to a new report by McKinsey.

    However, most of these facilities, which were meant to facilitate a gradual transition to a cashless economy in Nigeria were somehow strangulated to the extent that they could not offer the needed services.

    According to some bankers, they had been directed and were being closely monitored, to ensure that no old naira note that got to the bank goes out again.

    They also lamented that they were yet to get an adequate supply of the new naira notes to meet up with the increasing demands of their customers.

    The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) said over N3 trillion was in circulation but had mopped up over N1.9 trillion so far.

    The actress has featured in over 150 films and has produced more than 14 of her own.

    Having been involved in a drama group at secondary school, Iyabo Ojo commenced her acting career in 1998. She registered with the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) with the help of Bimbo Akintola, also able to network to other people.

    Iyabo Ojo has scripted and featured in several Nigerian films. Her first role was in 1998’s Satanic, an English-language film. In 2002, she made her Yoruba-language debut with Baba Darijinwon.[9] In January 2015, her film Silence, which features Joseph Benjamin Alex Usifo, Fathia Balogun, and Doris Simeon, premiered at the Silverbird Cinemas, Ikeja, in Lagos.

    In 2004, she started producing her own films. Her first production was Bolutife, after which she made Bofeboko, Ololufe, Esan and Okunkun Biribiri. She also divorced her husband before her fame started.

    Rudeboy and his ex-wife Anita separated in August 2021 after an Abuja High court granted the couple divorce, and he revealed his new lover (Ivy Ifeoma).

    She requested a monthly settlement of $20,000 and a number of her husband’s mansions.

    In the divorce petition signed by her lawyer, Ojonimi Akpe and Okutepa J.S at an Abuja High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Maitama, Anita had earlier claimed that she contributed N10 million as an agreement with her husband that she would be granted space at the mall he had just completed in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

    She, however, claimed Paul Okoye cheated her out of a deal.

    The petition reads in part, “That I know as a fact that the petitioner founded a company called TannkCo in 2019.

    “That the petitioner and the respondent agreed to build a mall where TannkCo would have its main offices, and the petitioner contributed N10,000,000.00 (Ten Million Naira) for the purchase of the land and the building of the mall.

    “That I know as a fact that the respondent, upon completion of the mall, reneged on the agreement and failed to give TannkCo a space in the mall.”

    However, Anita decided to withdraw the claims and opted to settle following alleged inability to prove all of the claims in her petition to the court.

    The court, in ruling of the case, granted joint custody of the children to the parties on October 20, 2022.

    Anita, an ex-wife to one of the music duo- P Square, Paul Okoye, has revealed that her wounds were reopened after watching the movie “The Wait”.

    Recall that eight years after their glamorous wedding, Anita and Paul Okoye headed for a divorce.

    The mother of three, who noted that she is a living testimony, explained that she was touched by the movie and could not help but be emotional as the movie script was similar to her life experience.

    The movie storyline is no doubt similar to Anita’s, who waited for years before welcoming another child.
